Notice that Obama thinks sending this to Roberts might yield a reversal. Doesn’t that say something about Robert’s reputation in Washington, post the Obamacare ruling!
The ruling might also put intra-session recess appointments in jeopardy. There have been a lot of those in the last 50 years.
Things could get interesting if that happens.

The Supremes would have to enforce the constitution to cause him any grief.

I will say it now. Obama is setting himself up for a third term. Everything he is doing, from showing contempt to the courts and constitution, to maintaining his campaign in high gear, to actively growing his cult of personality tells me he will “let the Americanpeople decide” in a crooked and rigged electon whether his work is finished or not
So since the Chimp in Chief and the NLRB intend to continue in spite of this ruling, are there any “Law Enforcement” officers in this country who will serve as the Officers of the Court that they supposedly are? Or will they instead merely continue to grovel before their Masters? At what point will they “recognize” treason for what it is? Or will they EVER do so, as long as that paycheck keeps coming in?

lberia, no, you are quite wrong. Other presidents have made recess appointments, when the Congress was legally in recess. Obama made them when Congress was in session. That’s the key point! Congress hadn’t declared itself ‘in recess’ but was actually declaring itself ‘in session’. Obama ignored the rules of Congress. And the Constitution. Simple.
Obama considers himself above Congress and above the Constitution. And he’s building up that popular base, outside of the Democratic Party, to support him. That is, he’s even separating himself from any political party constraints. He’s continuing to campaign – as Himself.

Iggy Slanter – I have to agree with you about the 3rd term. The two term limit is merely a constitutional amendment and those are largely ignored by this administration. Why change now?

The Senate was in session and in all probability would have voted on the appointments were they presented to the them. The law is archaic coming from the days when the Senate booked off for months at a time. The purpose wasn’t to hold back appointments of unpalatable weasels until the Senate ends its session.
