“Suicide Voters”

Shamelessly filched from American Digest’s Sidelines, this excerpt from Sal Traina’s A Real Threat To America:

Suicide bombers don’t care about the effects of their actions on others. They believe that their awful actions will be rewarded afterwards by their almighty ruler, Allah. They believe they will be taken to paradise. They are taught from a very young age that Americans are the real evil in the world, and that to kill them is a noble and Godly act.
In the United States, we have suicide voters. These radical progressives and liberals don’t care about the effects of their actions on others. They believe their almighty ruler, government, will reward them with a utopian society that cares for them from cradle to grave. These domestic terrorists are indoctrinated in our public schools from a young age to believe that Americans are the real evil in the world, and their greed must be avenged with social justice policies that redistribute their wealth.

The fact is, liberalism isn’t really an objective. Conservatism might be an objective, but liberalism is merely a direction. Dog chasing the car. It doesn’t really know where it’s going, nor does it care

  1. Only goiong to get worse, the more dependence and dependents there is and are, the more they will vote for the handouts just to survive.

  2. Rick, when the dog catches the car,it then attempts to drive it,and that’s the situation the US finds itself in today.

  3. The mindless vote of “Doing good” is indeed a threat. Dumb as frigging rocks, stupid in fact, IE: The can not learn.

  4. I don’t think the analogy to suicide bombers is apt. They indeed KNOW the outcome of their actions. However, these voters, after decades of indoctrination in the public education system, simply don’t understand the rudiments of economics.
Like the Marxist Obama, disguised as a standard liberal, they really believe that capitalism = exploitation; that scarcity is a hoax perpetrated on the public at the behest of greedy capitalists, a large percentage of whom are from an infamous enthic group; that free enterprise is a zero sum game. They really believe that the government has money and that it grows on government trees.
SO, for that reason I didn’t read the link.
It’s the same kind of fallacy as the one that describes Obama as a “failed” president whereas in reality, from his POV and the POV of these allegedly suicidal voters, he’s a SMASHING SUCCESS. They really don’t GET that they are undermining their own long term interests and therefore can be called FOOLS but not suicidal.

  5. As has been described in the book; “Last Exit to Utopia,” – Leftest “Utopia is under no obligation to produce results; its sole function is to allow its devotees to condemn what exists in the name of what does not.”

  6. Well-said, Me No Dhimmi, and good analogical add-ons all. “Utopia” for everyone should be a result, not a goal. Too easy for free-world society to get caught up in special interest agendas which damages the whole.

  7. Seems to me Capitalism has never really been tried. Socialism in all its forms has. Guess what it left behind. Mass graves, Gulags, concentration camps. Roting corpses, As forgotten For socialists failers are never remembered because every day is a new day achieving Utopia over the bodies of those who don’t agree. Tomas Moore wrote Utopia as a farce of the unattainable by gullibility. Modern society believes in fairy tales.
The robin hood complex or Santa Claus all year long.
No one pays or works . Its just magically appears from Superman’s hands.

  8. Communism and socialism will not disappear but will change according to tastes and moods. Eventually, even the true believers had to give their heads a shake when sent to gulags or to their deaths. I suspect if one air-lifted a useful idiot to North Korea, he will wonder why he isn’t getting any cell service.

  9. Progressives – pimping the mindless into slavery.
The multinational fiscal mess will not be solved politically as anyone can see. The Market will bring the multinational central banking debt-monetizing schemes crashing down and all those bureaucrats who mindlessly voted while expecting their entitlements to continue will be surprised to learn that they have all vanished along with most middle class private wealth.

  10. I’ve heard of “suicide by cop”, but I had never encountered “suicide by president” until Nov. 6.
