  1. This might colloquially be known as: “Boffing Ben Ghazi”.
Yep, “All the President’s Men” takes on a whole new meaning.
    Cheers

  2. Why is this story even worthy of news.
What is this bullshit.. can we move on….

  3. and Kelleyu and Allen excganged 20,000 to 30,000 E-mails
this is the gift that justs keeps giving, it would appear they are ALL all in:-)))

  4. Hey…
If the general had been butt-banging a private, it would have been used as a “feel good” story of inclusiveness and diversity.
The fact he was married and having an affair with a very bang-able (I googled her..not too shabby) writer, it’s front page news. Of course, Obama likes this, as the F-cking that was going on between the General and the babe…pushes off the story of the F-ck-Up that was Benghazi.

  5. This whole sex scandal is orcastrated to keep the accomplices in Murder of the Ambassador and the Marines out of the public ear.
    Coverup in so many ways!!!!!!!

  6. “What is this bullshit.. can we move on….”
    – NDPist
Now I know it’s getting close to the bone – the angst has started.
That’s not bullshit you smell, it’s impeachment. This story isn’t going to move on, it’s only going to get worse for the barely elected incompetent empty suit you idolize.

  7. “She was embedded with his unit” while in Afghanistan.

    That’s what she said!

  8. NDP’ist…you really don’t get it, eh?
This isn’t a story about adultery, stick around you might learn something.

  9. bluetech : ya there used to say the same thing about Bill Clinton (that wasn’t about sex, he lied).. yet politician lie all the time…. so it was really about sex and nothing more..
    SEX IS NORMAL.
Maybe these people should become swingers, have a big orgy and all that tension will disappear.

  10. This.is.about.the.media. Thanks.for.proving.my.point.
To no one in particular ‘cuz I don’t want to upset our hostess by feeding the troll(s)

  11. Hmmmm…but isn’t ABC propagating the War on Women?!!!
Oops, forgot, it’s only the “War on Women” when a conservative thinks, ah, something, um, unthinkable, yeah, that’s it. My bad.

  12. This is the only way the rest of the Kardashian addled electorate of the US will ever grasp the gravity of the Bengazi scandal, throw in the breasts and sex. Good people are dead, families are grieving, because of what froggie, sex? No, the truth about this corrupt administration of czars and commies will now hopefully come out froggie, and maybe a huge Hoover and a good Swiffer mop will clean up this mess.

You do realize he was head of the CIA, right? Do you think a clandestine act of marital infidelity just might be a way to blackmail him?
“First order thinking” — Thomas Sowell’s description of the liberals’ thought process. So very apt.

  14. Well, much as it grieves me to state it, NDPist has a valid point.
Europeans especially French and Italians dismiss these matters as normal…in fact such incidents are not scandals but elevate the principles. This is generally regarded as being “worldly”, “mature” and macho.
Americans who use sex to sell everything from beer , to autos, to toothpaste have a weird puritanical streak….sexual picadillos by their VIP’s are a very big deal.
MSM seems to have insulated JFK, Slick Willy and Bath-house Barry (all DEMONcRATs)to varying degrees of success but in Petraeus case, OBOZO needed to throw Petraeus under the bus…but now I suspect this tempest is surging out of control.

  15. sasquatch, NDPist seems to be chastising SDA for following this.
I think the point is the MEDIA are the ones making a huge deal, but they ignore/covered Obama and Clinton.
I really don’t care about the sex lives of the rich and famous. It only serves as a distraction, and entertains the masses, fits right into Obama’s plan.

  16. Hey lady! Bronco Nagurski just called and said he wants his shoulders back! — moe@3:21.
Thanks for that, Moe; it’s made my day! Didn’t someone say that about Joan Crawford? Hilarious.

  17. Embeded has a whole new literal meaning.
This is great movie material…Bedouin murder in the desert, a little wine and romance, a little mutual jogging, and a little political skulduggery. Humphrey Bogart would have loved it.
How does Murder and Love in the Maghrib sound?

  18. It’s hard to imagine national security was compromised here.
This story does get zero briefly off the front page on Benghazi but over time the full truth will emerge.
Holding up the eurotrash or specifically the cheese eating surrender monkey as being more evolved than the North American when it comes to matters of sex suggests a level of gross misunderstanding.
Why is that Clinton wasn’t forced to step down for basically the same thing? This story isn’t about poompoom.

  19. I’m thinking that the Quebecoise is pissed that she was not the one “with Patreus with unit imbedded”. This kind of sh_t is quite normal in La belle province.
Hey – lets get to the referendum and hope the hell you incompetent peesants pull the plug.

  20. So, Jill Kelly’s maiden name is; Khawam. Both parents are Lebanese. She speaks Arabic. Hold on tight, it’s getting interesting!

  21. The rascally rat got away with it again. Replace the murder of good Marines by covering up in the dirt of a juicy sex scandal that takes peoples eyes off Benghazi.
The Media is not only Americas worst enemy they are ours as well. They Lie to betray their own Nations for killers or incompetents. Ideology means more than lives. It always has to Socialists, it always will.

  22. O knows that sex scandals the the best way to distract the people who voted for him;
    the others are insignificant.

You’re right: what’s the big deal about the sex? You’re thinking normally when you question the newsworthiness of any of this: it’s almost as ridiculous as the coverage of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez breaking up — the difference being that these two characters weren’t married to other people…
But, to understand it, you need to get back into Obama supporter mode: you want this stuff out there, in all the graphic detail, which US government officials are apparently more than willing to provide the MSM (they probably provided a similar level of detail about Benghazi, but the MSM was bound, bent and determined not to report it).
Even then, it’s still not about the sex: this is character assassination, pur laine — with the entire escapade as a stick with which to beat David Petraeus and, through him, the US Military.
From Obama’s perspective, it’s brilliant! On the one hand, you’ve totally discredited the judgment of the one guy who could have done you real damage on Benghazi (“he was obviously more interested in finger f—— the stenographer than looking after business — and here are the emails to prove it!”). On the other hand, you’ve simultaneously undercut the power and prestige of the US military by destroying the reputation of its greatest living fighting commander, which reputation (from Washington and Jones through to Sherman, Pershing, MacArthur, Patton, Nimitz and Schwarzkopf) throughout the ages has been the backbone of both public and budgetary support — and voluntary recruitment (who’d want to join up after this “Betrayus”?).
And all at a time when you want to whack the military’s influence and budget to Kingdom Come! And with the MSM still splitting their sides over “horses and bayonets”! And managing to hold it all off until three days after an election that returned both you and a Democrat majority to the Senate (making impeachment impossible)!
    So, let’s take stock:
    – Clinton (leaving and not available until 2015; too busy drinking wine in Australia).
    – Panetta (leaving, to be replaced by — John Kerry, America’s greatest living prevaricator on his military service record).
    – Holder (leaving).
    – Petraeus (gone and a laughing stock).
Who’s going to willingly testify about Benghazi from this crowd? Subpeona? How about them there Executive Orders and Presidential Pardons in response?
Brilliant, I say again! QNDPS, you should be all over this like a bum on a baloney sandwich!

  24. General Petraeus didn’t come to the CIA job as an openly and honestly self-professed “free-love” kind of guy (in the manner of, say, President Hollande). Further, what these “Euro-modern” commenters ignore is the core issue, which isn’t sex at all but breach of public trust.
Simply put, if a public individual is prepared to breach the trust of their own family, what confidence can the public have in their character?
While the Petraeus affair has been getting all the air time, another breach of trust involving a US Army general has been playing out: General William Ward has been demoted for misuse of public funds and ordered to repay $82,000.
As a private individual, if I cheated on my wife, I’d be a lowlife and my character would rightly be considered questionable.
As a private individual, if I embezzled my employer’s funds, I’d be a lowlife and my character would rightly be considered questionable.
Why should those in positions of public leadership, responsibility and authority be given a pass?
And can I put in a word of sympathy for the real victims here?
That would be the families of Petraeus and Broadwell of course.

  25. David, one correction: Holder says he’s staying after Obama asked him to.
I find that telling; Holder is as corrupt as they come, and he is undoubtedly Obama’s firewall at Justice. Holder managed to run out the clock on F&F long enough to get to the election and shield Obama from being personally connected to it (even if Obama did have to invoke executive privilege in a naked show of presidential power). The rest of cabinet, and anyone connected to Benghazi, can and will be thrown under the bus, but Obama needs Holder to continue to act as his firewall. Nobody else can be so counted on to be so corrupt and keep DOJ away from the numerous skeletons in Obama’s closet.
If I were Hillary I’d be looking over my shoulder frequently. I think Obama will make an attempt to stick a knife in her back before she leaves. It’s simply the Chicago way.

  26. I.M., 10:34a.m. —
Well, I’m also wrong apparently about Petraeus voluntarily testifying — as I’ve been wrong many times lately. I guess even a stopped clocked is right twice a day (I hope…).
Nevertheless, Petraeus’s testimony will bear the precisely the burden that JJM describes above — which is exactly what they want.

  27. At least she’s of legal age. That’s one thing all right wingers commit to. Adultery. Which is one of the ten commandments. Being gay isn’t. Killing is

  28. One thing about you right wingers is the stealing is ok under the right conditions. Remember Spiro Agnew talking about getting tough on crime then being charged with tax evasion. If you jailed all the crooks in Washington there would be no republicans in the White House
