Well, from reading the comments…this story is 6.5 years old (from Feb 2006). But even then I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have made the CBC back then.
White cop is attacked by a black male and shoots him once. Black male continues to attack white cop and is then shot five times by another white male. When the MSM gets through with this one it will be another TEE-RAVE-ON episode.
Oh, it would make it into our press alright.

Jury trials were made for this sort of thing. / I’m referring to, that in Canada, this guy would have been locked up until trial, and his only hope would be having someone on the jury that in all cases would refuse to find guilt.

According to the only study done in Canada by Prof. G Mauser of SFU, Canada has similar statistics at 80,000 defensive uses of a firearm a year or 9 a day. (the majority of these are either shooting at predatory animals or non shooting incidents where the victim uses a gun to scare off an attacker – both go unreported to police)
In the US the anti-2nd amendment socialist media will never give the true statistical relation of defensive firearms use because it validates the reason the 2nd amendment was installed in the constitution of a free nation.
In Canada because of our draconian law enforcement and quasi police state abuse of defensive firearms use these incidents rarely see print.
A reasonable translation of “self-defense incidents are rare” would read “Mainstream media reports of self-defense incidents are rare”.

I have never been called for jury duty and neither was my old man….and yet I know of certain souls who have been called numerous times.
The notion jurists are selected at random is takiya.

I think this story at the link,PJ media is even more important than the other. Apparently, for those who believe only the cops and military should have firearms, the NYPD wounded nine bystanders shooting at a murder suspect,who never fired a shot back.
