Whenever a problem arises in Canada, an age-old trick to avoid doing anything is to just mouth the words “We don’t need American style solutions” to any & all proposed solutions. All discussion then comes to a screeching halt.

Why shouldn’t there be Guardian Angels? The police are under no obligation to protect anyone and it is illegal to be armed. Edmonton has had Guardian Angels for some years but must have trouble recruiting. There are better hobbies than wondering around downtown at night where all the crazy people that used to be in the loony bin now live.
I’d welcome the GA but TO really has barely any crime to fight. Council is stupid and Ford is dumb to not say anything. How can the city ‘block’ the GA from doing stuff?
They can’t let the Guardian Angels in because:
#1. In about two weeks the Angels would be able to point out the poison areas of Toronto(99% of it) created by multi-cultism.
#2. This would point out the screw-ups of Canada’s modern Gestapo,the OPP/RCMP/city cops.
#3. By pointing out #’s 1 and 2,they would expose the ineptitude of cops/judicial system/politicians in protecting law abiding citizens.
#4. It would then be revealed that in #1,they do this mostly by illegal guns,which,surprise,surprise,are not registered or legally obtained,again pointing out the uselessness of cops/judicial system/politicians.
#5. The Angels would then point out to #2 that # 1 and #4 is happening,and they must help fight it.
#6. The Gestapo would then appeal to their masters,the Justice system,that,hey,the Angels are picking on us and are racist by pointing out some cultures are less advanced then others.
#7. The Justice system would then declare that the Angels must be outlawed as a racist society for suggesting that some cultures which created #1 are less advanced then them,and #2 shall incarcerate them at once as threats to #1.
Final outcome is #1 can thrive,since their overall idiots,the politicians and Justice system,are protecting them against those who would expose their corrupt ways,including the ways of #2, the Justice system, and politicians.

Every city in the country is always talking about how diversity makes us stronger. There are two kinds of diversity. The first being the diversity that comes with allowing the right people in the country. The people who come from Europe come to this country to succeed and make a better life for their children. The second group be they Muslims, Jamacians come to free load of the government. I am sure there are lots of these people and good immigrants. All of Toronto’s crime is in the sub/divisions where these people set up enclaves and commit crime and terrorize the good people.
Once I was in Las Vegas and I spoke to 2 while persons from South Africa. They love their country but the crime is so rampart everyone is armed and their houses look like fortresses. I asked them why dont you move to Canada and their reply was that their friends, jobs and love of their country was the reason. I said to them ” you dont leave your country for yourself, you leave for your childrens’ future”. South Africa’s crime wave is crazy and more and more people are leaving. We will take all the South Africans we can and you see they are coming by the number of doctors in our country.
Back to diversity. If some of these people open a restaurant in these crime neighbour, city officials call that diversity. I can buy jerk chicken anywhere. I don’t see to many white people in Scarboro on a friday night sitting in these restaurant eating…..
Diversity is mingling with other cultures but accepting the status quo culture of the country to which you moved. I never here a Pole, Ukrainian, Brit talk about diversity when they move to Canada. They are more into making a life for themselves and their families, not going to the government for more social programs which is another word for welfare.

Several years ago amid the continually growing Winnipeg crime problems, some citizens in Winnipeg suggested the volunteer Guardian Angels and ask them to set up a program. The Winnipeg Chief of Police, Mayor of Winnipeg, and provincial politicians at the time were against this and made several excuses why not to do this. Guess public safety is supported insofar as they maintain all 100% total control, and the crime situation grows out of control.
So it was decided in response, several years ago, by the City of Winnipeg to ask the Winnipeg Downtown Biz association, where downtown business owners are asked (forced through invoices, assessments) to contribute funds (their money) to sponsor the Winnipeg Downtown Biz association (and the growing staff of 13). They then set up the volunteer “Watch Ambassadors” for “Community Outreach Patrols” program to address safety issues, a type of community organizer approach but complete with a more “holistic” approach to deal with prevention, (self) harm reduction, and the deal with the root causes of crime (need more sports programs, rehabilitation, make better lifestyle choices, social assistance, etc, etc).

The Winnipeg Downtown Business association “Downtown Watch” safety program is complete with volunteer ambassadors. When contacted that this seems very similar to the American Guardian Angels program, the director, and various spokespeople for the Winnipeg Downtown Biz association deny the similarities. They sure seem the same – same red/black colours, same report crime mandate, same radio communications to police; but more focus about helping the people breaking Winnipeg city bylaws and past criminal records, and have baseball caps not berets.

The issue of gun violence won’t become “real” to toronto’s stupid left-leaning council until it migrates to Forest Hill, Rosedale and the Bridle Path. Then things may change.
Of course immigration is a key contributor to this issue, and sticking collective leftoid heads in the sand won’t address it. Allow unfettered immigration from countries with generational violence issues, and with immigrants who won’t assimilate to the country, and house them in segregated ghettoes: what’s to go right with that?
