  1. The thing is that this is pretty consistent with the Liberal world view. They hate families and want to destroy them. What they fail to realize while they’re busy aborting their babies we’re busy making them. How’s that going to turn out?

  2. Typical crap from the endless Obama/DNC crap pit. Paul endless forehead Begula sitting there nodding in approval the whole time. Lets see, Raised (5) kids, battled cancer, has MS. Seems like a great target cause she is “rich” This is but a taste of whats going to be coming at them. They already are going after his wife, expect the weird “religion” angle to come next. If Romney and the RNC can’t figure out how to address the smear and scorched earth program coming at them we are all, well, buggered. Hammer Obama on his abysmal record of everything. Never stop.

  3. I think we should all take Dennis Miller’s lead and call it the “Trojan War” On Women.

  4. Obama said “we didn’t have the luxury of Michelle staying at home”. I call BS.
My wife has managed to stay home for the entire 15yrs of our marriage, where over 10 of which I worked crappy jobs, often two at once, went to school, and lived on wages that the Obama family likely spends on a vacation. In fact, our family took our first real vacation just last year, as finally the hard work has paid-off.
I challenge anyone and everyone who claims that “we can’t afford to keep one parent at home”, because YOU CAN! Two working parents is a CHOICE! Period!

  5. the ONLY time parenting is work, is when a single welfare democrap voting “mother” does it, other wise, it’s viewed as a vacation by the lefturds

  6. Apparently the dems are now saying they never claimed their was a republican war on women. These people have no shame.

  7. If Liberal left males are not outright gay, they are degrees of effeminate and in competition with women at all levels of life.
There is no bigger nasty than Females in competition with each other. No surprises that Democratic men loath woman as the competition. They say some women (i.e. feminists etcetera) have penis envy, you only need to see the opposite is true with the misogynist Liberal left male.

  8. Sure, it was indeed a stupid remark on Rosen’s part, but then, stupid remarks by partisan hacks on both sides of the aisle are a dime a dozen during election season.
Meanwhile, you can dial up the faux-outrage noise machine all you like, but it still doesn’t change the fact that, moronic insults hurled by pundits aside, the real issue remains the kinds of policies that each party supports, e.g.,:

    – etc.

  9. If this Rosen woman has kids, a nanny is raising them. They probably couldn’t pick that chubby blonde woman out of a police lineup. They think mommy’s name is “Pilar”.
Really, this is one for the Captain.

  10. ‘Obama said “we didn’t have the luxury of Michelle staying at home”.’ I guess community organizing just don’t pay what is used to. Is there a Union?
Neither Rosen nor the semi-literate Mrs. Obama has ever done a useful day of work in her life.

  11. I find it “rich” that Anderson Cooper and Hilary Rosen are both homosexuals, the parrot-speak of the anti-family or redefined-family is all over this piece.
The “stability of the family” is grossly lost on Hilary, as she and Elizabeth Birch, her “partner” adopted twins, and have been apart since 2006.
Rosen has raised these kids whilst being an in the advertising industry and Birch being an attorney, so you got to know that they spent some really good quality time with them.
Shattered lives now producing more shattered lives. The cycle continues.
No wonder she has no respect nor sees the value in a woman’s choice in staying home to pour into her children.
Too bad her dad was a Canadian Forces Serviceman. siiiiigh!!!

  12. Davenport, you are a fool. Obama has been pushing “the war on women” meme for weeks. Now they come out and say women who don’t work shouldn’t comment on economic matters. Rosen is an Obama campaign operative, this was from the campaign. Anyway now these fools are all clamering off the war on women bus like someone farted. Obama 0, Romney 1. The hits will keep on coming because this man is a fool and he’s got a team full of fools running the show.

  13. Worth repeating from Indiana Homez USA and Black Mamba

  14. Rizwan, what do you mean?
Rosen was responsible for taking down Napster and Audiogalaxy! She has so worked…/sarc

  15. “Obama said “we didn’t have the luxury of Michelle staying at home”.”
That’s because she was supporting him as the higher wage earner during his days as a “community organizer” and lecturer at the University of Chicago.

  16. man is a fool and he’s got a team full of fools running the show.

Still cant wait till the debates.
    Romney answering question on cue.
Obama trying to get the prompter on page.
    “Uh-just give me-uh-a second.
    I will-uh-get that-uh-question-up-uh
    in just-uh a minute.”

  17. Davenport said: “Sure, it was indeed a stupid remark on Rosen’s part, but then, stupid remarks by partisan hacks on both sides of the aisle are a dime a dozen during election season.”
I’m sorry Davenport, there’s no way you’re getting away with that. After literally fifty years of listening to YOU people on the Left ceaselessly hector us hopeless trogs about the true value of Women’s Work and the true place of women in society and the Male Hegemony and all the rest of the never ending barrage from women’s studies grads all over, that was not a “stupid remark”.
That was a repudiation of an entire half century of Post Modern Feminism. Every Lefty feminist in the whole Western World including you should be screaming for this woman’s head.
But you -aren’t- screaming for her head. You’re blowing it off. You’re saying it doesn’t matter, no big deal, Ann Romney’s just some lazy rich white b1tch with servants, who cares what anybody says about her?
Davenport, do you remember the Hate Week rally in 1984 where one country is the enemy at the start of the speech, and by the end its an ally, and they all scribble furiously to change the name on their signs? This is that speech. You are the moron changing your sign to match the New Reality.
We can see you doing it, too. Its not a good look.
By the way, you know the reason why women have to work these days is because taxes take half a man’s pay, so he can’t support the family by himself as previous generations did. It didn’t use to be that way, and it is really quite a spectacle to watch the party who made it that way criticize one of the few families who managed to do things the traditional way in spite of them.

  18. And did you notice Paul Bugala, his head bobbing up and down while this idiot spoke. He looked like the bobble head I use to have in the back window of my 55 Chevy.

  19. Wasserman-Schultz and Rosen in a circular firing squad, and Greta van Sustren jumps in the middle.
Today could be better. If I won the lottery. If I had a ticket…

  20. What they fail to realize while they’re busy aborting their babies we’re busy making them.
How’s that going to turn out?

    ~james
They aim to hijack our children’s souls when we send them to public school.

  21. Ive said this for a long time. Its true. Only the generals are feminists. Along with Islamification.

the reason why women have to work these days is because taxes take half a man’s pay, so he can’t support the family by himself as previous generations did. It didn’t use to be that way
    an astute observation

  23. I remember in 1966 my Mum got a job. Us kids went to the next door neighbor’s for lunch because -nobody- stayed at school for lunchtime. We all walked home and walked back after.
I recall this was done because we needed the money rather harshly, and my father was -p1ssed- that his better-than-average job couldn’t cut the mustard anymore. First one in his extended family to have the wife go out and work. But not the last.
Fast forward to today, it takes TWO people making over $200K to bring in $200K. Because 50% or more of money goes to three levels of government, is why. So in well-to-do families you see Mummy is a doctor and works 60 hours a week, and Daddy is also a doctor and works 80 hours a week, and the kids get raised by a succession of Philipino nannies who feed them after the day-care closes and run them out to violin lessons.
I know lots of them. They aren’t happy and their kids are a mess. So when the DemocRats have the friggin’ brass plated audacity to come out with “She’s never worked a day in her life” about ANYBODY, I have to fire all tubes. Standing by for the second volley.

  24. Phantom
“…It didn’t use to be that way”
In addition, look at all the wonderful state raised children we have today.
“Wanna buy some crack? Mao was a wonderful caring father figure. Where’s my cut?”

  25. The Phantom: “Every Lefty feminist in the whole Western World including you should be screaming for this woman’s head. But you -aren’t- screaming for her head….”
Yeah, you’re right, I should definitely have been more forthright and vocal in demanding, in the comment section of a Canadian conservative blog, the immediate resignation of Ms Rosen from the DNC. Obviously, failure to explicitly do so means that I secretly agree with her.
    “You’re saying…Ann Romney’s just some lazy rich white b1tch with servants…”
Um, how do you get that from “it was a stupid remark”?
“By the way, you know the reason why women have to work these days is because taxes take half a man’s pay, so he can’t support the family by himself as previous generations did. It didn’t use to be that way…”
Actually, the tax burden on the average Canadian household has held fairly steady for the past 50 years, at about 40-45% of household income. By the way, are you really implying that it’s preferable to you if men were the sole economic breadwinners of a household?

  26. Davenport >
“By the way, are you really implying that it’s preferable to you if men were the sole economic breadwinners of a household?”
Are you really implying that two working parents financially forced into abandoning their children to the state is preferable?

  27. “Actually, the tax burden on the average Canadian household has held fairly steady for the past 50 years, at about 40-45% of household income.”
    Got any numbers, Davs?

  28. Davenport said: “Actually, the tax burden on the average Canadian household has held fairly steady for the past 50 years, at about 40-45% of household income.”
Yes, thank you for re-stating what I said. 1966 when my mother went to work against -everybody’s- better judgement is pretty close to 50 years ago, 45% is pretty close to half. The difference plus five bucks will get you a Starbucks.
Oh and btw lets not forget the devaluation of the currency that utterly destroyed everyone’s savings. One order of magnitude devaluation since 1966, if it cost a dime then it costs a buck fifteen now. The fifteen cents is HST. (Sorry, I forgot you’re a KID. Pop used to cost a dime, now its a buck plus tax.)
That’s why your mum works Davenport. That’s why -you- are going to work when/if you have kids even though its -bad- for them, and even though you don’t want to work. Because if you don’t, your kids will live in poverty with you no matter how kewl your husband/whatever is.
Davenport also said: “Yeah, you’re right, I should definitely have been more forthright and vocal in demanding…”
Your sarcasm is utterly wasted my dear. YOU are re-writing your sign on command like a good little apparatchik, and I am merely pointing it out.
You have no moral values. What you have are tactics and talking points which change with the prevailing breeze. Like a wind sock. That is why you are losing.

  29. Tax Freedom Day
The Institute’s annual Tax Freedom Day report calculates the day the average Canadian family can “start working for themselves” after having paid off the total tax bill imposed on them by all levels of government.[27] In 2011, Tax Freedom Day was June 6.

  30. Black Mamba >
I’m waiting for the inflation (invisible tax) data verses wages myself (and not those ever increasing thieving union wages/ benefits either).
A new car or family home can cost 3 -4 times what it did 20 years ago, yet a starting wage of $20K is not $60k or 80K today, forget minimum wages. Capiche’?

  31. I wonder what’s going through Michelle’s mind when she hears remarks like this? She had to support this weasel’s political aspirations for most of their married lives. Her remark about his winning the election being the first time she was proud to be American was really more about finally respecting her husband. She must have lived with some serious doubts for a lot of years. I wonder if any of this ever boils to the surface? Might be something to watch for.

  32. coach – well, I won’t claim to have gone over it in detail, bit I don’t seriously doubt that the politically-connected One wrangled her her very well paid job at that hospital; you know, the one that ceased to exist the moment she ceased to need it. Since the woman is not fluently literate, I find it hard to believe that her legal skills were terribly indispensible.

  33. From Iowahawk’s twitter feed..and it is golden, the whole page!
‘If Ann Romney was as good at mothering,as Hilary Rosen is at PR,she’d be Casey Anthony!’
‘Uh,Hilary, since you’re under the Obama bus anyway..would you mind changing the oil?’

  34. ‏Keep it coming guys. Keep it coming. Anyone who says that Romney would be a wimp hasn’t been paying attention. He’s not rolling over like McCain.
@jaketapper: Romney camp email 2 supporters: “If you’re a stay-at-home mom, the Democrats have a message for you: you’ve never worked a day in your life”

  35. Davenport also asked: “By the way, are you [Phantom] really implying that it’s preferable to you if men were the sole economic breadwinners of a household?
No. I’m coming out and shouting as hard into your ear as I can that it is a f-ing CATASTROPHE of culture-shattering proportions that men -cannot- be the sole breadwinner of a household.
Because unlike you I’m all about people doing what they want to do, Davenport. Most women would jump at the chance to stay home with their kids, most men would jump higher to not have to.
You don’t even know anybody with kids or you’d know that.

  36. Wow! Anyone catch Axelrod on CNN trying to talk his way out of this flub?? BTW,John King now trying desperately to save Rosen’s bacon.

  37. “Most women would jump at the chance to stay home with their kids, most men would jump higher to not have to.”
I’m not so sure about that Phantom. Forty-five years of propaganda against our so called “patriarchial” society has had its desired effect. Today’s young woman wants a career anywhere a whim might take her, from atomic physicist to zymologist (sorry, last word in the dictionary). And our young men. They are hopelessly lost and without any roadmap to direct them to where and what is required of today’s man of mating age.

  38. nold, back in the ’90s, Homemaker’s Magazine did a poll where they asked women if they would prefer to work outside the home or stay home with their kids.
Overwhelmingly, they said that if they could afford to, they’d much prefer to stay home with their young children.
The feminazis have done a number on our society and have done everything in their power (which under the Librano$ was considerable) to devalue and denigrate stay-at-home-moms — and the mom/dad/kid(s) family.
I stayed home with my children, not as a luxury or “privilege,” but as a choice that my husband and I made. We didn’t have any money but managed; the Lord provided in many amazing ways. What really riled me, however, was not all the penny-pinching and having to do without, but the attitude of “professional,” aka working-outside-the-home, feminists: When I’d answer their question at a party, “and, what do you do?” with “I stay home to care for my children,” their eyes would glaze over and they’d immediately start to look for someone else to talk to.
This didn’t happen a few times, it happened regularly. They obviously thought that I contributed nothing to anyone, like this idiot Rosen. If I had got paid for all of my volunteer work and the free daycare I provided for a lot of single moms, my husband and I probably would have been able to put a modest down payment on a house.
I wasn’t then, and I’m still not, chattel to my husband, which is something these feminazis don’t understand. They don’t understand love, service, or sacrifice, only self-serving and money making. What a sterile existence.

  39. Nold said: “Forty-five years of propaganda against our so called “patriarchial” society has had its desired effect.”
Nope. Men still suck at child rearing. Women still don’t want to break a nail changing that tire themselves. Women avoid all building trades, metal fabricating and the Nerdly Arts of robotics and programing like the plague. Anything which requires the math brain can’t get female applicants, anything which requires touching poo can’t find any male applicants.
These days its merely fashionable to lie about these facts in public, the facts remain the same. Humans are a dimorphic species. Propaganda changes nothing.
