Tony Robbins is quoting Iowahawk

I’m in New Jersey right now, volunteering for Tony Robbins. Tony released a video today detailing the national debt and using simple metaphors that the math challenged can grasp. Please share it on your Facebook walls with some sort of inflammatory question, so liberals will watch it.

Quoting Iowahawk is always the right thing to do.

I understand what he`s saying, but the gap he needs to close is 1.5 Trillion, not 3.8 trillion. Some of the numbers he is quoting would be net of tax already paid. Regardless, the point is the same. Killing the Golden Goose ultimately kills the ability of the government to function. Classic parasitism – the host can survive without the parasite, but the parasite can`t survive without the host.

Oh my, SDA is holding up Tony Robbins as some kind of authority now; the man who got rich by motivating others to get try and get rich, only because he couldn’t get rich any other way.

Yes Jon because getting rich is evil in all its forms. Best to sit back and wait for that cheque. I hear ya big fella.

It’s a lot easier to attack the messenger than it is to attack the message. I am not a big Tony fan but he knocks it out of the park with this video.

Don’t need Tony to state the obvious. Numbers don’t lie. The ship is sinking and there is a shortage of life boats.

As a conservative, if TR marketed his techniques and others benefited from them, and he made bazillions in the process… I say good for him. As long as the enterprise was legal and there wasn’t some taxpayer-funded subsidy to get him there (hello, Solyndra/GM/Chrysler/ad infinitum), then what business of mine is it?
The Moronic Left will never accept that: they think it’s “unfair” that TR or others took a chance on an idea, made it successful and became rich in the process.

I quit listening when Robbins limned Iowahawk as “inflammatory” and painted him so as a matter-of-fact; as opposed to his own reasonable Independent self and Liberals. He even clarified it twice. Eff him, twice.

Question the facts TR presents not the presenter. The reality of what he is saying should scare the crap out of every citizen in the USA. The fact that his video will not get any play on 60 Minutes or 20/20 tells the story. The message is controlled by that segment of society who is living off the sweat of those that produce.

Oh, I read Iowahawk, so by TR’s own admission, I’m two years ahead of TR, a so-called leading edge speaker. I see Al Gore at his talks. I know who TR is. I was forced to watch him in sales meetings. And I know disingenuous aspersions when I see them. Either TR is blatantly unaware of what his words mean, or he isn’t. So either way, he’s someone I don’t trust.
Inasmuch as he gives Burge credit, that puts him way ahead of the MSM. Inasmuch as millions will see it, Hooray! I’m all for it and will promote this video. But amongst just us peeps, I find him as phony and execrable as any soap salesman I’ve ever had the displeasure of working for.

I loved the Bill Whittle version, a year ago, and I posted it on Facebook, a year ago.
Anyone who has a big following and can get the message out and will stand up and do so is all right by me.
Having volunteered for Tony for 7 years, I see the difference his work makes in people’s lives. It’s not for everyone, only for people who are willing to get outside their own limiting beliefs and work towards something greater than themselves.
His pre-framing Iowahawk as inflammatory was to get liberals to perhaps read the info, before stomping out in a huff.
Before I met Tony, I held a very low opinion of him, based solely on my dislike of his hair, his suits, and those infomercials.
After watching people take the techniques, break through old beliefs and build the lives they love, I became a believer in his methods.
Oprah came and did the fire walk in LA in November, she put it on her Next Chapter show. It stands to reason that a lot of Obama voters will be likely to at least listen to Tony a little bit now.
His analogy of dollars to seconds shows the enormity of the problem in a way John Q Public can understand. I’m really glad that he took this step, as he has a huge following in liberal Hollywood and it would be easier just not to comment, from a PR perspective.
Now if y’all excuse me, I have to go help 5,100 and 400 crew get prepared to walk barefoot over hot coals.

Tony spoke at a TED talk that Gore was at. Gore does not speak at Tony Robbins produced events.
Tony even warns about people who pretend to be green just to make money on the backs of those who desperately care about the environment. (Any guesses who he might mean?)

Phantom: the Smart Car had my business name and phone number plastered all over it. It was the 2nd one in Canada so it got a boat load of attention. I was doing a lot of radio and TV commentary at the time, so it worked out.
I’ve been a fire lane trainer for years now. If any of y’all ever want to get together and throw a fire walk, I’d come put it together. I did one at a random campground in Dutton, On 2 years ago. 25 people said they would walk, 150 walked.
