  1. A Toronto islamic book store made the news recently due to their stocking of a book that in part instructs muslim men on when to beat their wives.
David Menzies visited the store on behalf of Sun News to report on the situation and was told to leave the store . . . by a reporter for competitor Global News!

  2. Come on now , we all knew in our hearts this was true. The Government mandated gropers Union of sex deviants. Our travel toucher cadre.I wonder where all the nude photos they have made end up?
TSA Manager Arrested for Running Prostitution Ring
    TSA Statement:
“TSA cooperated fully with law enforcement during their investigation into this matter. The allegations against this individual are unacceptable and in no way reflect the integrity and professionalism of the more than 50,000 security officers who strive every day to ensure the security of the traveling public.”
So they keep saying after every incident.

  3. Wow, heard it here first. RIP Earl Scruggs — one of the all-time American greats of a great American genre.
(Nice article by Steve Martin – multi-talented man including the banjo).

  4. I doubt that many have forgotten how Soledad O’Brien embarrassed herself in her recent tirade against Breitbart.com’s Joel Pollak. A UK equivalent of that can be found in the form of one Richard Bacon as he pathetically tries to interview/debate James Delingpole about Global Warming. The “fun” begins at 8:30.

  5. Something to keep an eye on today, leftists and Islamists will stage a mass demonstration on the various borders of Israel aimed at stirring up more unrest in Palestine. Last year there were casualties and Israel has promised a hard-line response again this time. In fact with the time difference this has probably started, check Jerusalem Post and other sources for updates.

  6. A dozen straw bales set in a circle down in the holler, banjo strings poppin, granny and grandson on fiddle, Zeke on washtub bass and a jug of ‘shine that periodically makes the rounds.
It’s Saturday Night Live here in Appalachia.

  7. Hey, with regard to my previous post, the date for this protest is Friday March 30th. Would still suggest looking for news later today as these people are likely assembling today.

  8. Just a story of one Small Dead Animal vs The National Post F-35 thread.(300+ commenters)
    What F-35 thread you ask?
    Exactly, it got “disappeared”
    dwright takes a bow
(took me 5 hours of headache inducing tactics to pull that one off), but did prove my hypothesis that Libtards are better at dishing sh1t out than they are at catching it.
    Sore losers. WAAA WAAA

  9. AN OPEN LETTER TO ALBERTANS WHO PLAN GOING TO THE POLLS
As Albertans will be going to the polls shortly, here’s something they should know regarding the Stelmack-Redford PC’s bills 19, 24, 36 & 50:

Why would a failing (soon to fall) governing regime of a province whose land titles act has remained the strongest commonlaw land rights jurisdiction in Canada, with the most productive/profitable land per sq.Acre in the nation, hustle through a series of laws, with no consultation, that essentially convert private land title to the province (without compensation or legal recourse) when it decides to act. These laws allow the government to take title unilaterally without compensation, to nullify individual title claim, your marriage certificate (to get around dower claims) your death certificate (to breech inheritance claims) and to allocate confiscated land as they see fit without judicial oversight. Why would they do that? What is coming down the pipe which would make private land ownership and property rights such an encumbrance to a governing authority?

  10. God bless ya,Earl. Earl Scruggs introduced me to Bluegrass in the early 60’s via TV,and I had the pleasure of seeing the Revue at a small night club in Vancouver in the early 70’s. Great musician, good man.
    Thanks for the music,sir.

  11. Pharmaceutical company Sandoz’ drug production shortage and labeling mixup needs to be centre focus as critical care surgeries are being cancelled and Canadians lives are being jeopardized nationwide. That level of incompetence is unacceptable and alternative producers must necessarily be sought with our trading partners.

  12. Yeah who would have known that price controls would bring about shortages of pharmaceuticals.

  13. I’m listening to Dave Rutherford in Calgary: http://player.qr77.com
Apparently Alison Redford just had a press conference to read the “riot act” to those members of her party who refuse to give back the money they earned from the committee that never met.
Interesting that she wasn’t so adamant about this prior to the recent polls.
Can you say “desperate and scared”?!?

  14. Thanks, a@c, you’re absolutely correct. I did, indeed, have the numbers reversed. Sorry!

  15. Here’s a video in honour of SDA regular, Gord Tulk, who is known on Dennis Miller’s radio show as “Gord from Alberta”. He was a special guest on today’s show, which celebrated 5 years on the air!
Kudos to Gord and congrats to Dennis Miller!!!

  16. Bell: Alberta pride
Redford, who does call Alberta the best place in the world and says she just wants to make it better, also points to those who’ve moved here lately.
“They want to be proud of where they live now. They want to be able to talk to their relatives in other parts of the country and know we’re all connected.”
What is Redford talking about? If you say stuff like this, you’d better explain. Is she saying when you go back to the cottage in Ontario and hang out with Mom and Dad you don’t want to be embarrassed by the fact you live in Alberta?
