  4. Far as I know, he hasn’t been charged with anything.
    Eyewitness says Zimmerman was walking back to his car when Martin jumped him, broke his nose and kept pummelling him.
    That was after Zimmerman called police and they advised him to back off, which he did.
    WTF does it matter which political party he’s affiliated with?

  5. Let me guess, he was also one of Eric Holder’s “Fast & Furious” straw buyers in the gun walking scandal, working under cover for the Mexican drug cartel.
    Watch this story hit the ‘rabbit hole’ faster than you can say “Jack Flash”…
    Now of course the racist story line will be amended as an ethnic Hispanic Democrat protecting himself from the ravages of failed Republican policies.
    The MSM is nothing if not useless, and we’ll likely hear a lot less ‘Jim Crowing’ from Obambi.

    Of all the deaths by whatever causes there are in the U.S. every hour this death has been made an issue by the MSM for political reasons, and President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, has personally spoken about this individual death for politcal reasons.
    The MSM has made this about race and called it an injustice.
    So, yes, it matters that George Zimmerman is a registered Democrat.

  11. The more I hear about this story, the murkier it gets. Apparently, Trayvon was found with marijuana once, and another time with stolen jewelry. It’s also been reported that he’d been found to have defaced a building with graffiti. He clearly wasn’t the “angel” some are painting him as. None of those are earth shattering crimes, of course, and even if all are true, they don’t let someone stalk and shoot him.
    But is that what happened? Zimmerman was treated at hospital after the shooting for a broken nose and blows to the back of his head. That doesn’t fit the “Trayvon as target practice” narrative.
    I don’t know what happened, and it’s possible no one ever will, but the picture I’m getting is Zimmerman verbally accosted Trayvon, who, like many adolescent males of all races, has an exaggerated sense of “honour”. Not noticing Zimmerman’s weapon, Trayvon advances on him, words escalate, fists fly, and tragically, a shot is fired. I have no idea if this level of force is justified or not by the “stand your ground” law, but surely the police who investigated the incident do, and they decided not to press charges.
    I admit when I first heard the story I thought “What, is it open season on kids in Florida?”, but the more I read, the more doubts I have.

  13. This particular story will disappear much faster because the story is fast turning again’st Trayvon because of new allegations that are unfavorable to him and it sounds more and more like Zimmerman will not be charged with anything.
    Soetoro wants a violent race clash and he fanned the flames by commenting on the story; a group called the new panthers have emerged since then offering a 23,000 cash reward for “The capture of Zimmerman”
    Some blacks in major cities have already taken to the street in protests…
    Bottom line is that had the event been truly racially motivated and that Trayvon was truly an angel, Obama would continue to push for civil unrest with his tentacles in the MSM and black movements…Registered Democrat be damned as the MSM would of not mention or downplay it somehow.
    Obama is the one that needs to be arrested.

    You’re right, this kid was no angel. Your scenario is probably as close to the truth as we’ll ever get. I don’t think Zimmerman wanted or went out of his way to shoot this kid. But the arguments I’ve seen on the other thread all suggest that Zimmerman could use as much force as he wanted but Trayvon can’t respond to some guy hassling him. Zimmerman is not a cop and neighbourhood watch does not have the legitimacy of the police. Trayvon was walking to what was his home on this occasion. He was guilty of nothing. Zimmerman created the situation and bears some responsibility for what happened.
    As to the topic of this thread, I agree, this will now disappear. It has been made political and Obama might get away with a political game like this at the city politics level, but it is 10 levels below the behaviour of a President of the United States.

  16. What was Obama thinking when he commented on the Martin case, even going so far as saying “If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon.”
    If Zimmerman goes to trial, his lawyers will now argue that he has been denied a chance for a fair hearing because of Ding-Dong’s comments.
    This is particularly so given that Zimmerman’s lawyers will likely argue that Martin was not wholly innocent in these events. How can they make that case now that Martin is Obama’s adopted son?
    What a maroon.

The Obama Regime jumped on the Trayvon story the second they heard of it, (just as they did with the Giffords shooting). “They” got their media minions to pump the story, and define Zimmerman, solidifying the view propagated into peoples minds, as the truth. Just as the Giffords shooting, “they” acted too quickly and assumed,,, before knowing all the facts, some of which will be impossible to cover over.
    Giffords shooter was a Democrat sympathizer who turn out to be upset at Giffords for not supporting Pelosi in her bid to be leader of the Minority the the House after the 2010 election. In his mind, Giffords wasn’t left or radical enough FOR him.
    Zimmerman, was supposed to be a “white male”, a Republican, a gun owner, likely voted for Bush, and shot a Black kid in cold blood.
    I think the White House jumped on the Trayvon story hoping to revive “white guilt” as a way of gaining votes for the fall election. “They” need every last vote they can find, because “they” can’t throw the election as far as they need to, it’s gonna be a landslide again “them”.

  21. If the media keeps to its nomenclature, we should assume that from here on in they will be referring to Obama as a “white black” president. Lest one think that absurd, it is a label used in Haiti and other parts of the Carribean.

  25. Just to add one more thing, I’ll bet money that Zimmerman’s lawyer has to him to “get a little tanned up”. Any pictures from now on, there’ll be no mistaken he’s hispanic, and that also will not be favorable to the Obama Regime.

  26. As far as I can tell, based on the law, Zimmerman has done nothing wrong. There is no evidence that he followed Martin after he was told to desist on the 911 call. Zimmerman said “okay”, that’s it.
    So, the facts show that Zimmerman’s life was in peril as he was being pummeled by Martin, and after Martin was warned to stop beating Zimmerman by the eye witness. The rest is history.
    Politically, this might be the incident that will spark the riots which will enable the ONE to suspend the election in 2012 as many here, including me, predicted in 2008. THAT is the big political story here if you ask me.
    What I find interesting, and compelling, is that the time for this unrest is getting so short that the Dems couldn’t even wait for a white on black crime by a Republican, but instead have had to jump at the first opportunity that vaguely fits the desired narrative. This is all very fishy.

    They do like to keep their slaves on the vote farm ghetto’s as much as possible.
    The Socialist Nazi’s did recruit other “undesirables” to bully and guard the Jews in concentration camps. So this is not a new idea, especially when we learn Zimmerman’s political affiliation with THE gun confiscators, yet he himself carries like an enforcer.

I see that in the NY Times ( feel free to spit like they did in Corner Gas when Wullerton was mentioned) that Zimmermann is now a white hispanic as his mother is of Peruvian descent and father is white. Does this mean we can now refer to Obama as a white african american? When this blows up in his face will we have a “tequila summit”, or whatever Mr Zimmermann libation favours, to smoothe the waters? Running a revolution seems like more fun rather than actually running a government…ask Castro. Beats the hell out of defending Obamacare, Fast&Furious, Solyndra, the (un)economy, gas prices, no Keystone or you know his record & accomplishments. Are there any Alinsky accolytes who can advise if this will foment the next revolution that Obama seems so desparate to start with his recent (un) Presidential comments about a still evolving investigation? As a further non sequitor I have a son who does not look like a son Obama would have, I know this adds absolutely nothing to the conversation but I just wanted to try my hand at sounding presidential.     Maybe if the Liberal left focused on that a little more we wouldn’t have these Tyrone issues.
    They need to make a genetic “whiteness test” so that the Liberal left can be more certain of which side of the issue to defend, whiteout all the egg on the face. LOL

    Fact is people will defend themselves, or become fiends no matter what color. While ,journalists believe in the fairy tale of human perfection. That human kindness is innate not learned.
