    Some Yukoners say they received robocalls during the last federal election directing them to the wrong polling station…

    Canadian blogger BC Blue did a quick check on the identity of the only two “Yukoners” mentioned in the report: one of them is a member of PSAC’s Yukon Area Council and is married to a former federal NDP candidate who is currently PSAC’s Regional Executive Vice-President for the North. The other is the Communications Officer for the Yukon Employees Union/Public Service Alliance of Canada.

    “This was the biggest dose of heat we’ve received from a solar storm since 2005,” says Martin Mlynczak of NASA Langley Research Center. “It was a big event, and shows how solar activity can directly affect our planet.”

    Interesting thing about city of Milton with small population of 84,362 is that city has lots of drinking and driving

    No shit.. a majority of Canadians didn’t trust Nazis either.
    I don’t trust any group who comes here, isolates themselves by dress and culture and tries to change Canada to suit their beliefs. If that makes me racist, then I’m proud of it.
    When I see Muslims in Canada adopting our culture and speaking out against Islamic terrorists then I might start to trust them.

    After reading the headlines today about the US soldier who shot up Afghanistan civilians, I couldn’t help noticing an irony.
    There is all this clamor to try this guy quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury.
    Yet this Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood while screaming Allah akbar, still hasn’t stood trial, and they are still debating whether he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive: slay as many infidels as possible.
    So we have a guy in a war zone who cracks, and he must be executed immediately.
    But this Muslim psychiatrist who was stateside in a nice safe office all day murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and they try to argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome, from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience.
    Two and a half years later, they still haven’t tried the murderous bastard.
    What is wrong with this picture?????

  26. Two NFL seasons ago, Obama was supporting the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl. Now we learn the Saints had an illegal bounty program to injure opposing QBs. No word on whether the president still supports the Saints.

    It’s a weird combination of the WWE and a gospel gathering. It’s different. Nikki Ashton opened with a catwalk thing,”I’m too sexy for my party”, and then did a very good speech by NDP standards.
    It is actually entertaining to my jaded eye.

    A powerful commander of the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan claimed credit for a suicide bombing at a mosque run by a rival terror group in the contested tribal agency of Khyber today, killing five people.
    The suicide bomber detonated his explosives outside of a Lashkar-e-Islam mosque in the Tirah Valley in Khyber, killing three militants and two civilians, and wounding nine other people, according to AFP. A spokesman for the Lashkar-e-Islam blamed the Taliban for the attack.
    Mohammed Afridi, a spokesman for Taliban commander Tariq Afridi, told The Associated Press that his factions carried out the attack. Tariq Afridi, the powerful Taliban commander based in Darra Adam Khel, has taken control of Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan’s operations in Khyber.
