On March 16th, President Obama signed a new Executive Order which expands upon a prior order issued in 1950 for Disaster Preparedness, and gives the office of the President complete control over all the resources in the United States in times of war or emergency.
The National Defense Resources Preparedness order gives the Executive Branch the power to control and allocate energy, production, transportation, food, and even water resources by decree under the auspices of national defense and national security. The order is not limited to wartime implementation, as one of the order’s functions includes the command and control of resources in peacetime determinations.

If a dozen armed Marines, with weapons loaded, showed up at the door and asked an american to turn over their guns because the President, comander in chief, has issued an Executive order to confiscate all small arms, and that was now the New Law, how many wouldn’t give them up for fear of a 25mm hole through their body?

Some of you may have watched the new TV program Person of Interest, where a computer geek and an ex-Special Forces loner team up to detect and thwart imminent crimes. It’s a pleasant time-waster, but the Utah centre is the real deal. Not just two people, but thousands of them, all sifting through the minute details of our lives, seeking patterns to identify – what? “Terrororists” will be the standard reply, followed closely by “child pr0n”, “illegal drugs”, and eventually “teaching arithmetic”. All the sorry details are in Wired magazine’s April cover story: NSA’s biggest spy center ever.
And don’t think crypto is going to save you; the NSA is working on a petaflop computer whose sole purpose is to bust 256-bit encryption. Don’t look for any banner headlines when they achieve their goal.
Some people here like to sneer at Quebec, but right now, we’re all frogs. Simmering frogs in a pot, oblivious as the temperature is slowly raised until we end up in the soup.
If even one out 100 gun owners ‘resisted’, the Marines would cease to exist after a few weeks.
They don’t have the manpower, and I suspect they would find ways to not obey a constitutionally ileagal order like this.
It’s not like the former Soviet Union, where the peoples’ spirit was broken, a soilder/cop knows he may face resistance and/or death, from the hands of fellow citizens. That’s got to prey on moral.
Canada needs a proper Minuteman Project with some real teeth, and fast!
Once the US economy collapses or Obamba implements all of these totalitarian measures that the Liberal Left voted for, there will be millions of US refugees and their Mexican illegal aliens flooding across the border into Canada.
We need to be able to allow the rightful Conservative refugee’s through, and shoot to kill the Liberals and other illegal’s attempting to get into Canada that created this mess in the first place.
We should be able to get the American Conservative refugee’s to help guard the border, as most of them will be armed anyway, the Liberals not so much.
If Canada does not act on this soon, we are doomed.

Had an american friend visiting a few weeks ago and he predicted this very thing. Some believe the usa is heading right for civil war. There are americans that will defend the constitution of the us at all costs.

That is a very real scenario….but based on a perhaps false assumption….that the military would obey such an order.
The military at all levels has swaorn loyalty to the constitution not congress or the POTUS.
Even minor localized mutinies would have strategic not tactical implications. This was the mechanism which precipitated the War of Northern Aggression….not a popular insurection like John Brown attempted.
The OBOZO adminisration itself has deep doubts that the military would obey. Napolitano’s DHS report included “returning servicemen” as a potential security threat.
What is manifesting is the evidence of OBOZOs proposed “civilian security force”….OWS, SEIU, and increasingly militarized Police.
Even if the military stands aloof, Yamamoto’s “a rifle behind every blade of grass” is a certain prospect. Then there is the leftist success in creating an urban/rural polarity.
From a tactical standpoint…leftist domination of urban areas is untenable…rural opposition is impregnable….it’s a simple matter of logistics. Urban areas are easily reduced by denial of food and energy…..a hypothetical rural opposition, even loosely organized could easily interdict the nearly indefensible means of supply….roads,rail roads, pipelines and power corridors.
In short, the urban elements cannot successfully invade, conquer and occupy fly over country and fly over country can swiftly and easily reduce urban areas by seige, without a frontal assault, and with minimal losses.
If this goes down the way it appears, we are going to need FEMA style internment camps in Canada for the millions of Liberal Canadian Obamba sympathizers!
In good faith we can give their homes to the needy American Conservative refugee’s. The left will finally be able to truly share equally.
Of course Obamba will try and stop his conservative work/ slave force at the border and let the useless Liberals go, but I think many of the conservatives will have the ability to fight their way though to freedom in Canada.
The Gun registry would have been a good start to source out the less conspicuous Liberal Obamba sympathizers, but barring that we should be able to go door to door and arrest many with simple official questioners that the Liberals love so much.

Of course the conspiracy theorists will just claim that this article is merely proof that Morrissey has been coopted by the NWO. That’s the beauty of conspiracy theories. Any evidence that they aren’t true is just more evidence of how widespread the conspiracy is. Sort of like claiming to not be the Messiah.
The sickening thing is, even the Liberal Left are buying guns and “prepping” (gayishly I might add) in the US now.

This Executive Order could allow Obama’s administration to respond to peacetime “emergencies” of their own making. If Catholic healthcare providers don’t comply with government mandates that violate Catholic teaching, their institutions could be commandeered. If Sunoco wants to close an oil refinery that’s operating at a loss, this Executive Order provides a way to force continued production.
Well, I for one am very comforted by Calvin A’s update about how benign the EO is.
Come to think of it, I’ve just read the US Constituion (well not really) and I find that document very comforting too.
Clearly, we should relax.
Remember that Defense Autorization Act that allows the indefinite detainment of any US citizen on mere suspicion of terrorism without access to legal counsel.

The Fast and Furious program by the US Attorney Generals office to establish cause for registering firearms in America. The threat of shortages by the government to enable rationing as a national emergency. This could be the prelude to Götterdämmerung. That said, I kind of like the idea of rounding up the Liberal Left into Obamba’s FEMA camps. If you can’t pull guard duty or better yet interrogation duty there’s always the hope that you can become a bounty head hunter and seek them out.

As Sasquatch has noted, there is good evidence that the US military won’t go along with any actions which are seen as unconstitutional. The only forces that Obozo can depend on are the various groups of federal statists such as DEA, BATF, homeland security, large city police, etc. When put up against the US military they likely won’t fare very well.
Also, there’s the very heavily armed population and there are a hell of a lot of ex-military in the US. Likely they’ll be the nucleus around which any resistance coalesce in response to an attempted dictatorship. No wonder the current traitorous administration views returning US servicemen as a security threat.
If I lived in a large US city now, I would be moving into the country. In a SHTF scenario, large cities are going to be the last place that someone would want to be. The countryside, OTOH, is full of non-leftists, much more self-reliant and well armed. Better to get to know people in a small town now rather than waiting until the last minute to flee — the reception one gets won’t be nearly as good.
It would be prudent to stock up on routers and cheap computers now as local networks might be the only internet for a while. Fortunately most technical people who run the actual physical internet aren’t very tolerant of statists and it will likely be impossible to shut down the internet given to the degree that the country now depends on it.

Note: says nothing at all about parents being citizens. “Natural born” means you were born within the United States or one of its territories. You are still considered a natural born citizen if ONE of your parents is a US citizen and you were born outside the US and its territories AND your birth was registered as a US citizen with the US embassy/consulate in that country. Some fools have alleged John McCain was not a “natural born” citizen because he was born in the Panama Canal zone in 1936.
