This past Saturday evening, radio talkshow host Dennis Prager and podcast phenom Adam Carolla appeared on stage together at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center in California. Though Prager is a devout Jew and Carolla is an atheist, it was remarkable to see that the two men share very similar values on most things.
I was very privileged to have been able to photograph both shows that evening. It was a most memorable event that I will not soon forget. If they ever do release the shows on video, I would highly recommend you get a copy, as you will not be disappointed by the insight, wisdom, and wit.
Adam Carolla is a small government libertarian. He’s pretty cool. Dennis Prager, however, is a spendthrift who cares little about the budget deficit. He’s cool in that he correctly believes the family is the bedrock of civilization, but he’s not nearly as cool as Adam Carolla.
I love Prager, he’s my favourite radio guy.
His major in university was Russian/Soviet history, so he has some great insights on what drives the left.
Always worth a listen.
I like Carolla too. I listened when they first got together on Prager’s radio show, it was like a mutual admiration society.
On Monday’s podcast, Carolla said his crew was putting together a tape and would sell it on iTunes.
PS: on today’s show, it is Carolla and Nick DiPaolo condemning political correctness.
Kathy has a dreamy eyed infatuation with Carolla. But then again, so do I with Rockabilly music!
That’s not a shot Kathy, I too love Carolla, but as a staunch heterosexual who likes to hear people speak with a no bull$hit tone, like Adam does!
I suspect he’d drive me nuts in real life, but for an hour a day, he’s awesome! 🙂

I’m a big fan of both Adam Carolla & Dennis Prager. Indeed, being with either of them 24/7 would probably be too much for most anyone but what I admire is how they speak their truth, which frequently flies in the face of politically correct, scripted nonsense.
When the audio or video of Saturday’s shows is eventually released, compare it to the pablum that goes under the label of “Canadian political commentary” on CBC/CTV/Global. The latter is just pure crap! Sun News TV is trying to break out of that mold, which is a good thing.

When Carolla really gets going you can almost…..almost hear a bit of Gilbert Godfreid in his voice. Maybe this is it!
Speaking of Prager driving one nuts also:
He says he now realizes the moment his first marriage was doomed.
His wife came home upset and told him:
“I was bit by a dog.”
Prager’s response?
“You mean ‘bitten.'”

Carolla can talk for 30 minutes, in a very loud, angry voice, on why toilet paper should be hung one way and not the other. I love him (at a distance) but don’t envy Mrs. Carolla 🙂

Amen to that, Kathy! There’s too many pussy boys these days. I suspect most women prefer the Marlboro man, but the metrosexual sissies really $&@%# up their $hit. Any “man” that actually wants to go shoe shopping or to the Bath and Body Works needs a serious ass kicking.
