Those Moderate Muslims!

Fars News;

“Mostafa’s ultimate goal was the annihilation of Israel,” Fatemeh Bolouri Kashani told FNA on Tuesday.
Bolouri Kashani also underlined that her spouse loved any resistance figure in his life who was willing to fight the Zionist regime and supported the rights of the oppressed Palestinian nation.
Iran’s 32-year-old Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan Behdast, a chemistry professor and a deputy director of commerce at Natanz uranium enrichment facility, was assassinated during the morning rush-hour in the capital early January. His driver was also killed in the terrorist attack.

  1. But Ron Paul isnt worried. Maybe if he wasn’t so naive about foreign affairs, he would have a chance.

  2. I agree DanBC. While Ron Paul has some interesting ideas domestically and is generally outside of Washington establishment, that unfortunately doesn’t make him a good candidate. His foreign affairs views are so dangerous to the US and Canada’s interests, that I put him on par with the atrocity currently occupying the White House.
That said, I cringe observing the Republican nomination race. Not a single person that the Tea Party movement could really support. Such a shame Palin didn’t run…

  3. So, when a Jew is killed by an act of extreme violence it is called “freedom fighting” and when an Iranian who’s hearts desire is to exterminate the Jewish people the same act is called a terrorist attack.
Got to love the media’s attention to detail and controlling the script.

  4. glacierman, Fars News(english edition from Farsi) is the Iranian propaganda organ.
It is interesting how much their spiel resembles the writing we see in western media, though.
Note how the widows praise for her dead husband runs counter to the Obama regimes asseration that the Iranians are not trying to develop nuclear weapons.

Yeah Oz,I noticed that. I guess the Muslim Brotherhood had better get their US Manchurian canidate up to speed!! Oh wait. He all ready is,what with his a&^kissing for islam.

  6. @DanBC and redneck
If Israel believes that Iran getting nuclear weapons is such a threat why haven’t they attack them?
I find it really amazing the extent to which the Israel issue can cloud American politics.
Thank God we don’t have this lunacy in Canada.
If you are a REAL conservative but oppose neoconservative wealth redistribution you are labeled naive or dangerous by the grand poobahs at the Weekly Standard.
If however you are a big flaming SOCIALIST but you subscribe to the idea that America should start wars to protect FOREIGN INTERESTS you then become the second coming of George Washington.
Thanks for clearing that up for me.
Iran getting nuclear weapons is probably dangerous for Israel. That is for the Israelis to assess and evaluate, NOT for America or Canada.
If the Israelis do decide that Iran getting nuclear weapons is a national security threat and attack Iran, Ron Paul will NOT condemn that as opposed to every other Republican who DID when Israel attacked Iraq in 1981 to stop them from getting nuclear weapons.

  7. With luck they will get a few more.
What Justthinkin said. As Kate’s masthead says “Pleasing your enemies does not turn them into friends”. Never has and never will. Chamberlain found that out in 1939, but the moron politicians of today will have to find it out again.

  8. Conservatives believe in a strong national defense, since it is one of the most basic responsibilities of the state.
Conservatives also believe that every nation should be responsible for their own national defense.
However, for far too long, Republican and Democrat socialists in Washington have been running a foreign policy that involves a massive wealth redistribution scheme out of the Department of Defense, sucking American resources and funneling American troops and military equipment from America to the defense of foreign nations.
America is the only country in the world that is not only responsible for its own national defense but for that of every other nation on the planet.
America spends billions of dollars a year running military bases all over Europe, so that European socialists don’t have to spend money on their own national defense and they can offer themselves LAVISH SOCIAL ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS at the expense of the American taxpayer.
America spends billions of dollars a year on FAILED GEOPOLITICAL SOCIAL ENGINEERING EXPERIMENTS like nation building in foreign countries, so that misguided politicians in Washington can try to “spread democracy around” with disastrous consequences, by just replacing a tyrannical regime by another more brutal and repressive, at a tremendous cost of American lives.
America spends billions of dollars a year allegedly “ensuring” the national defense of FOREIGN NATIONS like Israel, but in fact preventing them from exercising their own God given right to self defense.
This situation is untenable as it is impoverishing and weakening America beyond belief.
American citizens cannot and should not have to carry the burden of the defense of other countries as that is THEIR responsibility.
America needs to bring the troops back home and put a stop to this massive socialist scheme, whereby politicians in Washington take America’s defense ressources and redistribute them around the world.
This idea that countries that have abundant and plentiful national defense resources should share them with those who are “less fortunate” and don’t have as many, is inherently LEFT WING in origin.
Stop trying to pass off NATIONAL DEFENSE SOCIALISM as conservative. It is not. Pay for your own goddamned national defense.

  9. It is difficult to establish how effective an air attack could be.
The 1981 raid on the Osirack, reactor succeeded because nobody anticipated it. NO air defence.
The more recent raid on the Syrian reactor….short range and it seems the Israeli’s had counter measures for the cutting edge Russian anti-aircraft system….that Syria trusted implicantly.
Iran is long distance, the targets are dispersed, hardened, and probably unknown.
The Iranian leaders should be fearful…logically they are soft easily located targets.
During early 20th century dogfights…the obvious targets were the pilots..not the engines or the airframe.

  10. See what you did DanBC at 10:21 AM?
You mentioned “the One Who Shall Not be Named” and now we have a frothing-at-the-mouth Yankee Ronulan here spewing diarrhea all over the thread on this Canadian blog.
*note to Danny: The Canadian spelling of Defence has a “C” in it*

  11. Pepper all known sites with small “dirty” bombs and see how they handle doing everything in full “rad” suits.

  12. “But Ron Paul isnt worried. Maybe if he wasn’t so naive about foreign affairs, he would have a chance”
That’s because it’s America’s fault, as far as he’s concerned.
“Iran getting nuclear weapons is probably dangerous for Israel. That is for the Israelis to assess and evaluate, NOT for America or Canada”
Oh, surely. Because a nuclear iran has no far-reaching impact on our national security, or oil supply, right? To say nothing of impacting global security. America should just sit back and leave this one to the israelis, who are first in line for annihilation.
You’d be a natural in a ron paul cabinet.
