Since leftards have the comprehension level of pre-school children they will have to learn through a fable what happens when you punish the super rich who got super rich in a variety of ways including hard work, being smart, belonging to the lucky sperm club or a few, like the American Camelot team, who got rich by illegally selling alcohol. The fable of course is the goose that laid the golden egg. The only difference is that the geese that have the golden eggs can move their existing golden eggs out of the American Animal Farm that Obama is busy creating and start laying their golden eggs elsewhere.

  13. From what I have read, what Buffett is suggesting and what Obama is suggesting and using Buffett’s name to flog deviates significantly. Does that surprise anyone?
    Buffett firmly believes and has shown through action (estimated 37 billion to charity so far) that those who die rich die failures.

  15. In blue states you have to say you believe in man made global warming to get elected. The test is if you do anything about it. Considering he is cutting taxes and balancing the budget, NJ cannot do anything about global warming as long as they do not collect the taxes to pay for it. In a couple of years, with the collapse of Western Europe, man made global warming will go away on its own.

  16. As far as I know Chris Christie hasn’t spent a nickel on his belief in Global Warming, however he has pulled NJ out of a regional cap-and-trade program which he called “gimmicky”.
    On the day he pulled his state out of that program, Governor Christie then went on to confess his basic ignorance of the issue and state his trust in the “experts” and their pronouncements about the issue.
    He is not an AGW believer per se, he trusts people he shouldn’t trust and is clearly open to the truth were it to be explained to him.
    You really have to read his whole statement from that day and not just parts of it.

  17. It’s always amazing to me that libs say that they don’t mind paying higher taxes. I’m convinced that what they really mean is, they don’t mind that I (we) pay higher taxes for “their” pet projects.
    When Mike Harris gave back $200.00 per tax payer in Ontario, many lefties said that it shouldn’t be done, that it couldn’t be afforded. They went as far as to say that they would send their $200.00 back.
    About 5 years ago, I looked into the number of people in Ontario who actually returned their $.
    In the whole province, only one person returned the money.
    Buffet would be no different either.
    However, he would suggest that you send yours in.

  18. The great thing about Christie is that if you showed him the proof of why Anthropogenic Global Warming is B.S., he’ll believe you.
    The man is the real deal. It’s too bad we live in a society that this man is considered too fat to get elected, even though he more closely resembles the populace than any other candidate.

  19. Christie has severeal weaknesses as a republican candidate, over and above the AGW nonsense:
    Immigration (he’s for amnesty, I believe)
    Guns (not very pro gun rights)
    He had no issue with the Ground Zero Mosque.
    That being said, he’s head and shoulders above the pathetic group we have now.
    Dream ticket: Christie/Ryan.
    Maybe in 2016 once 0bama has had more time to try to kill America.

  20. Buffet is a hypocrite, and has been for quite some time. Be wary of rich liberals, they are the most dangerous kind. They use the capitalist system when it suits them, and they undermine it when it does not. They are not freedom lovers.
    Had a few Berkshire Hathaway shares, but once Buffet started making love to Obama I sold them instantly.
    As for Christie, he’s a loud mouth, arrogant liberal covered in a very thin veneer of conservatism.

  22. What I would do to get him to run for president. On the other hand, I’ve heard he’s given in and started ramping up spending, so he might not be that great. Spending cuts not tax cuts are most important right now.

  24. Oz is dead on. Don’t listen to what people say (how many times have I said this). Watch what they do. Whether or not he believes in global warming, Christie understands clearly that it’s not the mandate of a state government to deal with this. NJ has much bigger problems, and he’s trying to deal with those reather than waste time on hot air schemes.
    Slaw is also dead on. There’s a lot greater talent in the Republican Party than what’s on offer this year.

  29. got a job in N.AB recently, not oil patch but big bucks compared to the Ontario slum jobs I had.
    Taxes, my god people. Make a couple grand a week and they tax you like your a #@%&#$$$ millionaire.
    Fed’s and AB tax is as bad as McGuintario.
    If Buffet had to pay my tax rate he’d move to Liberia.
