Other than act as stenographers for the entrenched political establishment, its hard to figure out just what the MSM brings us other than demontsrating how not to practice “journalism”.

My guess is the budget at SDA is quite a bit lower than that of the WaPo (online) and that one day in the not too distant future, SDA will outrank Wapo in hits (maybe its already happened)
The management at the Toronto Starwipe were also going to offer buyouts, but discovered in their quest for liberal political correct-ie-ness, they had already removed the candy and soda vending machines. So please Kanada, donate some pop and chocolate bars so Martin, Kinsella etc can retire. Canadians got to see the product of a Canadian urinalism school last week with the newspaper attack of Ezra Levants Muskoka meeting, when little things like a meeting, can bring out that kind of vitriol and hatred of conservatives in our so called Canadian journalists, time to leave the newspaper in the rack and buy a comic book.
It’s obvious that a growing number of news consumers, would rather have their news reported un spun then form their own opininions rather than have their opinions force fed them by some corporate propagandist and be charged too much for the privilege.

I knew someone who got the Sunday edition of the Washington Post way back. It was grossly huge. I am not sure when or why newspapers took on a agenda and chose to support it my selective and biased reporting. Opinion belongs on the editorial page, not on every page. How does it move from everyone respecting the Post to it becoming an irrelevant liberal rag?
Well, it seems Obama’s Newspaper Revitalization Act didn’t get much traction after those $billion dollar bailouts to Wall Street, GM and Chysler.
Lying thru your teeth everyday to protect the Democrats has gota be a drag on your health.
Take the buyout and go work for the Times. they only lost 40 million…
