Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Ripping across the ice Middle Aged Man, Deeply Unfit And Mostly Drunk – Hey that’s ME!
The only difference’s are that I don’t drive a japcrap Mitsubishi, its Ford tough all the way, and these guys don’t have enough gear to be proper Gearheads.
Most of my relatives on my wife’s side are lefty environmentalists. I have sent them a link to your site and to the other 5 vids in the series. I’ll be getting an earful at Christmas dinner.
David Suzuki is not a lying grinch. He is a lying sack of poop and a con artist.
The truck is a Toyota.
Suzuki must know the con is almost up . . . he’s targeting children now, trying to get them to cough up their lunch money by scaring them with lies about the North Pole melting.
Or maybe he is so dumb, so ignorant, so stupid, so out of touch with truth and common sense that he actually believes the North Pole is all melted out.
Merry Christmas Dr. Fruit Fly. Which of your many houses will be used to host your spawn for Christmas this year?
Because you are such a good little greenie, aren’t you.
Have to be a bit careful. I think they were only going to the magnetic north pole not the true north pole. That being said it was a very entertaining episode.
My question is….why do we have a mirror image of the video?
mikhail >
“The truck is a Toyota”.
Yea, Where you from that you would know that boay?
DrD…you are correct. The north mag pole is currently approx 450 NM NNW of Resolute Bay….28 deg 36 min east var for us Edmonchuckers. But then the sucker is constantly wandering. And that is a Toyota.
The official youtube version clips off the commentary at the end, so this flipped video had to do.
That’s the Top Gear Arctic Challenge. They got in some s**t for drinking G&T’s while driving across the ice. Great show!

Kate, what program are you using to flip the video around?
Well it’s good to see Santa’s home is SAFE!
Oh no they couldn’t find any of Al Gore’s glowbull warmin’. Come to think of it they didn’t mention the widely reported dark cloud of pollution emanating from Europe either. They must be in the pay of big oil.
They must be in the pay of big oil.
Cut the crap. We’re all ‘in the pay of big oil’. Every one of us owes our livelihood to petroleum, one way or another.
Obviously filmed in the 70’s before all the ice melted.
Take a break from the frenzied season of santa spending, and reflect on what’s really important.

Jezza (Clarkson) loves ridiculing the warmists

Don’t believe everything you think.
Do you realize that google satellite view is not in real time?
The polar ice does not completely disappear in the summer and comes back every winter.
No60 have you been in the Christmas grog already? You are missing all the sarcasm.
The best part about this episode was that Jeremy & James caught a lot of flack for drinking and driving –and then argued that they were actually sailing & not driving.
Christmas special on the 28th! Can’t wait for the new season of Top Gear.
Suzuki is deeply concerned about overpopulation.
He and his five kids never fail to discuss the topic on family occasions.
Perhaps ‘Suzi’ could rectify his carbon footprint all by himself. He could rectify his families simultaneously. I mean if it going to ‘save the planet,’ well…have at it!
@ Fred
“Suzuki must know the con is almost up . . . he’s targeting children now”.
Ahh but he knows that the children are the future and easy to brainwash. It’s the de-programming that is so difficult. Case in point as well as AGW is Mc Guinties gay agenda for the children. Kids suck up any garbage. Ask any parent.
I would throw it back at the good DR. that in fact he and his spawn are the real MAGGOTS.
Why does David Suzuki remind me of Toulouse-Lautrec… Both freaks.. maybe?
@ hiccup
Merry Christmas
Anti-AGW show on Brit TV? The joke is -so- over.
As somebody said above, the Fruitfly Guy is pitching to kids these days. Another sign and portent that Its Over.
I think that was filmed at Cypress Bowl, just outside North Vancouver.
If it WAS the North Pole, where was the striped pole I’ve seen pictured so often?
Nope, this is as fake as the moon landings!
By the way, nice red Christmas truck for Santa to pick stuff up in. Nothing like a 4×4 jumping the bumps I always say. 🙂
Merry Christmas all!
@ David Suzuki: Yer all red nosed…
Want some ice in that daquiri?
And how about a rebate to all those frightened children?
And should you ever need a compass at the North Pole
Luke 1:78 …through the tender mercy of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from on high 79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”
A very MERRY CHRISTMAS, to all the small dead animals, who appear to be very lively.
Cheers

I work hard to counter the crap that they teach my kids at school.
I ask them to challenge it and they do.
And I ask them to tell me if they get censored for it.
And thet say not yet.
So far so good.
Got a week or two of work up at the arctic circle next month. It better still be damn cold up there or I wasted a small fortune on unnecessary gear!
btw, does barren-ground caribou taste any good?
How come Suziki does not have a don’t like button on his page?
“Obviously filmed in the 70’s before all the ice melted.”
Now, THAT is amazing. A film clip from the seventies yet showing a 2010 Toyota. Isn’t technology wonderful.
Here’s a webcam shot of Barrow, Alaska and it sure doesn’t look like the north is warming as of Dec. 24th…Santa Claus and Co. are safe!
Dr. Fruitfly should go directly to jail…no passing “GO”…for the AGW fraud he has spun on mankind.

Merry Christmas Catherine MacMillan and everyone else at SDA!
Of course he’s a lying little fruit fly twerp…Al (fatso) Gorebull is his idol…///
Since when does it take two men to prove the fruitfly is a lying SOB?
What bothers me the most is that he is not scrutinized, and he knows it.
Ah yes, Top Gear. 100% government funded, 100% anti-American, 100% fake.
Suzuki targeting school children:
Yeah, and he only answers pre-screened questions sent in well before the indoctrination sessions.
Suzuki / Kafka
Without quite being able to put my finger on it, Suzuki’s BIG LIE that the polar ice caps are melting reminds me of Kafka’s story, The Great Wall of China; the rumours; the general confusion and uncertainty as to the status of the project is understandable given the extremely rudimentary nature of communications (personal messengers) at the time. But HOW (?!), in our hyper high-tech communcations era he can get away with this is truly awe-inspiring.

They range from “Just fine” to “inedible”.
Season is over for this year. Cows are preggers and the bulls are just trying to make it through the winter.
What a great clip!!! Made my day. Think I’ll go out and abuse my Yota…maybe drive over it with my Ford F350
slapshot @5:57 – I resent that. Not the “freak” thing, the other thing.

Really does it get that sunny there this time’a year.
North Pole?…Hasn’t seen that much sun for a long time now….us Canadians know about that stuff….even Fruitfly guy….
Something about winter within the artic circle….
Sorry to spoil every bodies fun but ours is supposed to be the credible side.
The North Pole ain’t melting in December and it’s dark as hell….
sasquatch…..
sarcasm…….thick…….silliness…….eggnog…….relax, and top of the season to you!
Suzuki and his ilk get away with it because we live in a farcebook world of leftard political correctness where ‘feelings’ are more important than truth.
“They range from “Just fine” to “inedible”. ”
Figured so… I’d better bring a big bottle of HP & Worcestershire sauce then.
North, how true you are!
Feelings matter more than facts. The left operates on the credo of, “If it feels good, do it”. Except when the state decides you have to be protected from yourself, via smoking laws, seatbelt laws, DWI laws (don’t even admit to having a single beer, glass of wine or otherwise in BC, you are charged convicted and sentenced on the roadside in BC, regardless of the courts).
If a cop FEELS you are impaired, no facts are necessary. The Mob Rules.
Let’s be clear here, this was a venture to the North MAGNETIC Pole, not the Geographic North Pole. Been to both but never landed… At the Geographic North Pole all directions are South, so you have to pick the right one so as not to arrive in Siberia by mistake. Approaching the North Magnetic Pole from the North, heading South, the compass points North, ie., still towards the pole. Can be quite confusing to the uninitiated. Also, the North Magnetic Pole is not so far from land as the geographhic one and, in fact, is often actually on land as it does move around quite a bit. The North Magnetic Pole is Canadian, the geographic one is in international waters. er, better make that “international ice”. Here endeth the lesson.
Quite amusing. When the watermelons recover from the trauma of having a herd of sacred cows skewered in the production of this video, expect them to retaliate with MADD representatives parading a pathetic collection of bedraggled bandaged penguins for MSM cameras. These would be just some of the victims of these drunken yahoos driving with the starving polar bears being brought in next. Obviously RCMP checkstops near the pole would be the next MADD project.
(For the humor challenged, I know that penguins don’t live in the Arctic but I very much doubt that Dr. Fruitfly is aware of this).

It doesn’t point anywhere, a compass useless near the North Magnetic Pole. Read up on “area of compass unreliability”, as defined in the Designated Airspace Handbook (TP 1820). You have to use true heading near the Mag pole.
They actually travelled to the 1996 location of the North Magnetic Pole.
