  1. Reports that the “high intensity field trip” took place on Dundas Street have yet to be confirmed.

  2. Is it not extremely disurbing the way no video comes out of the country. CNN has run out of loop on their stock footage. The last video of Kim was from Oct 9 2010.
    Invade tonight.

  3. Well there goes the greatest film maker Hollywood has never seen. Now the state will have to make a film about the life of a dictator and film maker that has excerpts of the film they made about what a great film maker he was. That’s a lot of film.

  4. Would like to let you know that certain events in the life of communist diktators are not natural. They are usually dispatched with great artistry to the never, never land. The “journalists” of the free world will never know what happened. If some do, they won’t tell.
You see, even the communists can’t stand an a$$hole longer than necessary. Though in this case the bizzaro diktator was a spent life, so maybe he went without help.

  5. He and Hitch can keep each other company. He was once a communist sympathizer, but then he was all over the map.

  6. Geez…according to N/Korean News, his first time golfing led to 18 holes in one. That’s quite impressive, especially since there must have been a few par fives there.
Or..alternatively, he was just a well-fed, self-indulgent dictator content to watch his people starve while he engaged in his own self indulgences.
    Gosh…who to believe…
May that fat little f%ck rot in hell..

  7. No, larben, I’m pretty sure Kim was a communist sympathizer to the bitter end. Hitch, of course, was a brilliant man whose courage, wit and loathing of tyranny more than made up for his many faults. So very much a different kettle of fish from Mr Kim.

  8. Now begins a series of events: purges, power struggles and humanitarian crises. It is said that Kim Jong-Eun is not well-liked and already there are military defections.
Hell may have a new occupant but a more earthly hell may happen soon.

  9. Good Riddance to a vile and evil man. I still vividly remember visiting the DMZ. The North Korean side was completely stripped of trees, everyone was starving so they had resorted to eating tree bark. Little Kim and the rest of the communist officals seemed to fare a lot better though. Reminiscent of the pigs from the book Animal Farm.

  10. The only question now is which members of the NDP will be the pallbearers his funeral?
I like Libby and Nycole for this one. Don’t strain your backs ,ladies that coffin may be heavy.
Will Pres.Obama send Bill Clinton over to talk to “the boy” now?

  11. The “Shiny Pony ” is weeping as we type.
Will he be a pall bearer at his comrades side?

  12. We should make an offer to Kim Jong-un: 1,000 tons of food and 50 autographed Michael Jackson basketballs in exchange for the keys to the country.

  13. Black Mamba – “Hey, Kim Jong-Un is a four star general! At 27! C’mon people, that’s pretty impressive.”
Only four stars – must be an underachiever.

  14. “Uncommunicative and distinguished for his competitive nature” – not a promising combination of character traits – plus he’s a military general, young and the youngest of the children, who are often, but not always of course, dotted upon – the future isn’t looking too bright for North Korea.

  15. Hey, Kim Jong-Un is a four star general! At 27! C’mon people, that’s pretty impressive.

Hell, you’d have to be transgendered francophone Muslim Martian to climb the ranks that quickly over here.

  16. Political family dynasties seldom play out well in the 2nd, let alone 3rd generation, think of Roosevelt, Gore, Trudeau families. As for experience, Kim Jr’s seems to be confined to pie eating contests. Thin communist dictators are in rather short supply.

  17. To honor the death of Dear Leader the North Koreans are holding a Hunger Strike.
Apparently it feels like any other day of the week.

  18. To make this a perfect Christmas for our Kate, let’s hope Kim is closely followed to Hell by that Cuban guy she admires so.

  19. Watching our state broadcaster run a clip of North Korea’s state broadcaster announcing the death of Dear Leader brought a tear to my eye.

  20. “He’s dead! I didn’t even know he was Il.
    Posted by: dave”
Yes, Dave, and next of Kim have been notified.

  21. Duh! I meant Michael JORDAN basketballs (autographed). Kim Young-one is a big fan (no joke) …
I’m sure his despondence over the death of daddy will be somewhat ameliorated by the NBA starting up again on Christmas.
    (P. S.: I can’t top dave and Dave immediately above for jokes!)
