Adam Carolla was on Dennis Miller’s show yesterday to discuss his now infamous anti-OWS rant and other current events.

Thanks Robert for that. I must be living under a rock or something not having heard Adam Carolla before. I enjoy Dennis Miller and have for many years but really enjoyed listening to Adam clearly point out what has gone wrong with the PC or fake trophy movement in that segment. We need more exposure of these type of thoughts, not that they will necessarily be taken to heart but in the belief that they need to be said by someone.

I remember watching Adam Carolla on “The Man Show”. I always thought he was kind of a meathead. I remember Jimmy Kimmel saying in a nice way that Adam was the laziest guy that he knew. That being said, I certainly have a new found appreciation for him. Thanks for the perception change!!!
Interesting that Kimmel said that Carolla was lazy. Perhaps he was being sarcastic. The more I hear about Carolla’s past and all he did to rise above his very humble dirt-poor roots leads me to believe that he’s one of the least lazy people around.
Carolla is a bit of a paradox: lazy in the sense that he says he loves napping, and became a comedian because it was easier than his old jobs (digging ditches, construction work). His grade point average in high school was 1.4 and he never bothered to pick up his diploma. He just wanted to play football and smoke weed.
Yet he’s also held multiple show biz jobs at once, like doing LoveLine and the Man Show at the same time. Right now along with his podcast, he’s also doing The Car Show and the next Celebrity Apprentice.
But he’d say he does all those things so that he can afford to nap in a nice house, drink wine, play with his kids and tinker with his Lamborghinis.
His family was genuinely lazy, in the sense his mother was/is a welfare queen. They tend to “think like poor people” (if you’ve read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, you know what I mean.) So they stayed poor.
And it wasn’t until he was 30 that he realized he needed to get his life together or he’d end up like them.
He actually has an astonishing work ethic and that’s why I’m betting on him to win the Apprentice. 🙂

So Adam thinks that we will all be chicks in fifty years. Mark Steyn would agree.
