Unbeknownst to the OWS participants and supporters, a college-like degree in “Basic Life Lessons and Economic Realities” was available to them, free of charge, if only they paid attention to what actually happened over the past 2 months. In a brilliant column, that should be printed out and affixed above the bed of every entitlement junkie, Eric Duhaime outlines the valuable life lessons:
- Down with public property
- Banks fulfill an essential function
- Law and order help when you’re being pushed around by criminals
- You need to work before you eat
- The leaders of the Left never practice what they preach
Folks on the Left constantly remind the rest of us of how incredibly open minded they are. Duhaime’s 5 absolute truths provide a valuable opportunity to test this assertion. Observe the Leftists you encounter in 2012 and see which ones earned an “A” and which ones ended up with an “F” in Duhaime’s course.

Robert, Eric Duhaime appeared on a Sun News segment this morning and he outlined his five life’s lessons. I am very impressed with both Eric and Bridgette (sp) as well as many of the other personnel in the Sun TV and print media. They are not mealy mouthed as many in the CBC and CTV lineup are.

Did the Occupy gang really expect Wall Street and Bay St. to crumble? Were they that naive? I have a gut feeling that was all a litmus test.

Bluetech, it makes no difference what the useful idiots at the bottom of the Leftist pyramid think. As for those on the top who orchestrated & funded everything (union leaders, Democrat politicians, etc.) I’m absolutely convinced that it’s part of their plan to lay the groundwork for a massive Class Warfare narrative this coming year. So even though OWS failed, and badly, those same leaders can now say, “You see, the evil forces on the Right crushed them. That’s why you need to reelect Barack Obama to continue the good fight!”

I would only note that “Law and Order” do NOT “help when you’re being pushed around by criminals” if the criminals are “Law Enforcement” or their Masters. Which is all too often the case these days…

There seems to be a disturbing parallel with the operations used by the taliban, and the ows. When the weather starts to turn ugly, they break camp and head home.
Only to resume operations in the spring.
The best way to address this it to break off the “oxygen” supply.
Yes we know they’ll be back in the spring, but they won’t be able to set up camp.
A protest is harder to maintain if it requires excessive emotion, even harder when it comes face to face with the reality of economics.
