Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Ahhhhh!!!!!!!
I was just waiting for her to run over the dam dog.
Reminds me of a dog I knew in a previous lifetime.
Frisky – a farm dog
Amazing how much juice the little dogs have in the tank. Looks like Lily could have gone a couple of more runs.
I think Lily probably caught a nap later, in the truck.
Absolutely amazing! I wonder what Lily’s relative mVO2 is (and if she’s using EPO).
From a commenter at Pinkbike;
“i tried this and just ran my dog over”
(Some training required I suppose,,,,,,)
And
I like Lily’s carry handle. (never saw one before)
(and if she’s using EPO)
Naw,,,1/3 can of Red Bull.
Jack Russells need around 60 km a day run to be happy, looks like Lily has a good master that understands her needs. I always pity the ones whose owners mistakenly put them in an apartment or are gone to work everyday. That is not a life for a JR.
She almost cleared that one double! I’m afraid she doesn’t have much chance of clearing some of those long table tops. Also when she didn’t take on the vert wall and the bike did I thought she would pass the bike or get squat in the bargain.
I used a motorcycle to take my sister’s whippet for runs. I couldn’t go fast enough on a bicycle to keep up with the dog.
Jack Russells are phenomena. One doesn’t know the meaning of “high energy” until one meets a JR.
I hear that they were bred to keep up with horses when hunting. The one JR of my acquaintance loves and adores horses.
That’s not a Jack.
Damn… the broader public might discover how cool Smooth Fox Terriers are…
She’s quite the athlete. 🙂
I used to have the dog -pull- the bike when I was a kid. Dog powered bike. He could go pretty fast too.
This is much cooler though. 🙂
I am not a dog expert, but that does not look like a Jack Russell. Whatever it is, that was fun to watch. Just a dog having fun. Loved the rock fetching at the end. As a kid we had a labX that would fetch rocks we through in the lake.
It could be a Parson Russell – the show bred lines have the longer legs more akin to a Smooth Fox than the squattie jack Russell types that most people recognize.
