I object to kids being subjected to social experiments (we hanged Nazis for that). The kids first words were likely “I am a girl” because he had never hear the word ‘boy’. I know two homosexuals with two kids (one of each sex) by a surrogate mother and I object there too. One of the ‘parents’ is a doctor in a children’s ward; nice role model that and a fine example of the looney left. No, I’m not homophobic, I just don’t like child abuse.

This is a case of child abuse , even if this had never seen the light of day i can tell you i am totally against gay’s being able to adopt or have surrogate mothers ….plain and simple …because of sh!t like this . My analysis as a fellow “right wing nut job”, this is child abuse that is out in the open and there is a great chance nothing will be done about. Political correctness and twisted society is having its orgasm right now.
And we wonder why our children are joining gangs, becoming sexually active, turning into addicts/alcoholics, and being diagnosed as bipolar/schizophrenic at younger and younger ages in numbers that indicate we have a pandemic on our hands.
The solution: hand out, condoms, crack pipes, needles, lower the age of sexual consent, teach them how to do sex better, drug them first with pharmaceuticals and when those fail they can always choose a street drug.

It was obvious that the audience was supposed to feel sorry for the ‘reformed’ pedophile when he shot himself after the male cop we’re supposed to hate told his girlfriend, who had a pre-pubescent daughter, that he had spent time in jail for sexually molesting pre-pubescent girls. From what I read in the linked article sounds like this kid is very messed up. Whether it’s from the genes of the parents (he was adopted), the drugs the mother did while pregnant or the totally non-biologic family unit he was adopted into is unclear.
Whenever I see an adopted kid with psychiatric problems, I try to find out as much as possible about the biologic parents as well as what the biologic mother was doing during her pregnancy. Kids which are given up for adoption are far more likely to have ADD (as young parents with ADD are far less likely to use contraception properly if they use it at all) and psychiatric problems as teenagers mentally together enough to use widely available contraceptive techniques tend not to get pregnant.
There could be a hormonal defect which occurred either in-utero or secondary to genetics which results in the child not behaving according to their biologic sex. None of these details are given.
I don’t think homosexual couples should be allowed to adopt kids and they should obtain them in a natural way. Far easier to do for lesbian couples where one of the women is fertile.
No doctor would perform sexual reassignment surgery on an 11 year old as that is a sure way to lose ones medical license and end up in jail. Sounds like this is the story of one very messed up kid. Interesting from a neuroendocrinologic standpoint and a bit more complex than the post would imply.

I have to completely disagree. I used to work in the child protection industry and we placed many of our :unadoptables| with gay couples. They made wonderful parents and they had the patience and resources to help these children, if we had waited for hetero couples these children would have languished for years in foster care without an anchor in their life. Children need love and acceptance by SOMEONE in their life.
Heteros have their nutbars too, hence why the children were in care in the first place.

Actually you are incorrect, we taught our babies as young as six months simple signs such as milk (for bottle), cookie ( which stood for food) hungry, mommy daddy,thank you and a few more. Babies are very smart, they haven’t developed their verbal language skills.

I tend to agree.
The Grey Lady raises an interesting point, but it seems to run counter to other trends in contemporary social work. We see an intense and growing opposition to trans-racial adoption (or at least to the adoption of black and aboriginal children by whites or other racial groups). Perhaps we should consider restricting homosexual couples to the adoption of homosexual children.
If, as many social workers believe, there is something inherently discriminatory for blacks to be producing healthy children to supply a white population unable or unwilling to bear their own, why would this argument not apply here. It is also argued that trans-racial adoption robs minority communities of their future leaders and members. Similarly, it is argued that black and aboriginal children adopted into white families will sense their “difference”, have a low self-esteem, and, lacking a strong sense of their own racial identify, be unable to form healthy relationships with either their adoptive or biological families.
If these arguments are to be taken seriously (and they are by the “progressive” wing of our society), why are they not valid in these cases? Perhaps heterosexual couples should be denied the right to adopt homosexual children and vice versa? Now, please don’t ask how we know who’s what. Homosexual activists assure us that they were “born this way” just like those of us with a left-handed orientation.
Homosexual children could grow up affirmed by homosexual parents in those “committed and loving relationships” that define the gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, and transgendered communities. Until we know more about the effects of inter-orientation or trans-orientation adoption, prudence suggests we should err on the side of caution.
