We Don’t Need No Stinking Giant Mirrors

Good question! Why California Democrats would be creditor to a company that received more than a half-billion dollars in federal loans to build a solar-panel plant isn’t clear. Even party officials say they’re not sure.
More here and here on the Solyndra scandal.

  1. The whole Solyndra thing stinks to high heaven.
Unfortunatley the MSM won’t let any of it stick to the Skunk-in-Chief.
The sooner these Lefty Looters get voted out the better.

  2. Yup when money is free its time to party. Tan come the election bribes.
Green revolution all right. Green as in greenbacks by hard working people being robbed by Government.Long past time Both the Canadian & American governments where shrunk back to being glorified post offices with war powers.
Deep six the entitlements. We have learned they attract nothing but flea baggers, miscreants, opportunists & others forms of human viral life.

  3. How else would the Kick backs be recorded…This is California corruption 101… Obama
gives X and Polosi gets her cut in Solyndra Bonds…. Wait until 2012, then we can try to find the missing Trillions

  4. Don’t worry,…as Mom used to say,…everything comes out in the wash. Just be patient….

  5. What is to be expected when the governments of western countries grow the public sector faster than than people can earn an income. It is too bad that our governments forget that they only bring in taxes not profits.

  6. Solyndra should
    work as distributor
    of chineese solar systems
because of cost chineese has this market cheaper
solyndra could buy from chineese and sell in USA smaller house and farm and african country farms
google search: list of chineese solar company
    mad-in-china solar systems manafactures
    Problems with Obama
he has not background in business
    he is lawyer
he also trust company who came to market in 2005
that company solyndra also has PHD background
being scientist it does not mean you
    can run business too
    the reason for bankrupty
    without me understand detail
    years in business
    lack of understand business market
if some one new in business should start as distribution of big company
    then join party of manfacturing
otherwise they will lose lots of money
    lack of good account managment
again proof government do not understand busienss and interfer in business just gave them lost
business is not you like them
but also able to run business

  7. From the sounds of it bambam & co. are sounding a lot like Ontario’s Mcsquinty’s lieberals or vice versa…
Washington is also starting to smell like they are downwind of an Alberta feedlot in spring.

  8. Government is a piece of crap on most days….but I still don’t get how Solyndra was given $500 million…not $50 million, not $2 million…but a half a billion!!! Holy crap!!!!

  9. I have no faith in the FBI to investigate this at all, what so ever. As soon as they rushed in, they were probably helping destroy documents and cover everything up. Keep in mind, this is the same agency that modified criminal databases in order to let felons buy firearms to pass to mexican drug cartels. This is the same agency that helped push the lie that U.S. gun owners and dealers were the source of thousands of weapons that they, themselves, were responsible for. They’ll magically find “No wrongdoing” in order to keep their funding.

  10. Could not bear to watch the Ontario “leaders” debate tonight; I had dishes to wash, anyway. But I’m willing to bet right now, without having heard a word of coverage, that Hudak didn’t bring up Solyndra at all.
What a choice we have. Tweedledee, Tweedledum, and Tweedlebumber.

  11. A company in bankruptcy, potentially debt free on reorganization, and supposedly full of hundreds of millions
of dollars worth of gold standard automation intensive production lines sounds like a license to print money.
    Oh? It’s in California?
The automation systems are “not quite ready for prime time” without extensive workup and modifications?
The whole product idea traces back to Obama and subsidy supported global warming scams?
    Ooops!

  12. The leading investors in Solyndra were two investment funds with ties to George B. Kaiser,
a major campaign fundraising “bundler” for Obama.

Obama administration pushes government loan guarantees to his campaign fundraising “bundler.”

Al Capone would have hugged and kissed him for a clever tax free Chicago con job well done..
    Who needs a frigging Mafia?
We have Bambi and his thugs running the country..

  13. I finally heard Solydra mentioned on CBC (only 3 weeks after it became news)but they made no mention of the kickback to Democrats allegation.

  14. Cut ALL corporate welfare!
Ralph Klein did it in Alberta.
And, to their credit, the current PC gov’t in Alberta is refusing to cave into Darryl Katz demands to kick in our tax dollars to build a playpen for the Edmonton Oilers.
Hey, Darryl. If it’s such a good idea and you can make money off it, get a couple of your buddies to kick in a couple hundred million each.

  15. I am not advocating Civil War II in the US, but by George, if it does come to that one can only hope our left stream media is on the frontlines.
