Seriously though, the Dems too are balking at Obama’s bill. What would truly be a move of brilliance would be to gather just enough “yes” votes on the GOP side of the house NOT to pass the bill. THEN… the Dems could be blamed for sinking the bill. IT’s risky, but oh well.
Does anyone know if something like this has been done?
Too bad this doesn’t block the democrats from introducing a bill with the same name in congress. If it did, that would be some feat!

Actually, considering that Dems like Pelosi pass bills before reading them, it would be possible that some Democrats could vote for Rep Gombert’s American Jobs Act by mistake.

Repealing all corporate income taxes will never be done, because it would take the gun trained on American businesses from the hand of the ruling class. Besides that, it would generate so many millions of jobs that welfare would no longer be a reliable vote-getter for the Congresscretins.
Introducing the repeal was true statesmanship, though. At least one Member served his constituents, today.

Over the last few years quite a few pundits have noted that the current administration is clueless about how government in the US works. Every initiative that has required a normal process to be followed … every one since they took over the white house … they have not been prepared to follow through. The have consistently shown that they think their mere pronouncement is all that is required to make things happen and once the big announcements are made they then discover that there is actual work needed to be done.
Any wise observer bent on disrupting their efforts needs only to wait for them to broadcast their intentions … which they always do … then identify the processes they must follow to initiate their work … then … as Rep Gohmert did … insert their own countermeasures.
