There is nothing civil about civil war, especially in the 3rd world.
Mercenaries, win or lose get the dirty end of the stick regardless who their were aligned with….the winners usually dismiss their mercenaries with out pay…the losers mercenaries are dead men walking.

I don’t know why we are the least bit confused as to why Lybia is a total cluster frig and on the way to being a failed state in constant turmoil in the hands of demented radicals – and so is Afghanistan and so is Iran and Pakistan and now Egypt. Every place the UN/NATO tampers with becomes a radicalist backwater – gee why is that?
Perhaps we can pull off our partisan blinders and see that the whacky strong man Lybia had was better than what the so called revolution will install. Same with Syria, Lebanon, Iran and Egypt. Ask yourself who stands to profit from oil nations in civil turmoil who are intent on destroying their infrastructure and economy with constant revolution. The friends of failed nations and untable governments? IMF or World bank rebuilding loan anyone?
