The Canadian Constitution Foundation, unlike the Civil Liberties Orgs in Canada, actually fights for all rights not just ones they like. Recently the CCF worked on a self defence case. They are worth supporting and all freedom loving people should donate to them. Kate should set up a link.

The Canadian Constitution Foundation (CCF) is a REALLY fine and reliable group. And, yes, Kyla, they do exactly what the CCLU (Canadian Civil Liberties Union)—those hypocrites!—are supposed to do! Like most of us here, the CCF sees the state as encroaching on the freedoms of Canadians and wants governments (federal and provincial) to be smaller, more accountable and less intrusive.
Their web site—thanks for the link, old Lori—is a treasure trove of important information. I’m signed up to receive updates on their really valuable work. (And it’s time for me to make another donation!)
I highly recommend this group and encourage SDAers to support it: any one of us might need their legal assistance one of these days!
