I lived in Sooke for 10 years, apart from the “wonderment” from these sheltered people, killer whales get boring after seeing them nearly every weekend in the summer, and they scatter the salmon.
While you are trolling along, they swim right past you, the 100 meter rule is stupid as you putt along with the 9.9hp kicker and they just do their thing along side of you.
