It seems that in the intellectualdom, the only statement that is valid is the latest, as though what was, was, it is no more.
Have to add that a political machine, that is the “back room boys” so to speak will turn any decent human being into a shameless robotic idiot. The only exception is the socialist/fascist characters, they are born that way, it may be a genetic flaw that the headshrinkers did not have time to define yet.

Yep and a Russian Count has actual political power — equivalent to a British Baron or an American Governor; whereas a Lord (e.g. Conrad), is the lowest on the nobility totem pole — purely symbolic.
If he voted in the US as a non-citizen isn’t that against the law and second if he voted there’d be a record of said vote. So will the Liberal Media do due diligence or tell us to shut up they have no problem with Iffy voting in other Nation’s Election?
How about a prisoner exchange?
Bring back Lord Conrad Black (after all he has more than redeemed himself by helping to reform other prisoners and is now an advocate) and send them Count Iggy in exchange to face charges.
I don’t think either of them have any power, Ricardo, what with the revolution and all. I don’t think a Russian Count counts. I just find it ridiculous.

The comments on this article are amusing; most Americans posting are laughing at us Canadians for allowing a guy, who is an American citizen (as oft said by Icky himself…’we Americans”, “it is my country (United states) as much as it is yours”..’I will vote Democrat’…the list goes on and on), to run for Prime Minister. I would be embarrassed if the Americans had not voted in a rather strange, foreign type fellow for the top job in their nation.
Right now we have a true blue Canadian Prime Minister; he is not a French citizen (like Dionsky), he is not an owner of a fleet of foreign ships (like Paul II) he is not a thug (like the Cretian), he is not a Stalin/Hitler lover (like Turdo)…we have come a long way to the good; the Americans, not so much.
Canadians must ‘Count’ our blessings and give our Prime Minister, Mr. Stephen Harper, the majority he has earned. I don’t care where the Liberano import leader goes after the election. He could maybe try his luck in Hungry; he has an ‘in’ as the spouse of a Hungarian citizen.

BLOC, Duceppe a marxist leninist
NDP, Layton, a Socialist
LPOC,the most corrupt party in canadian history
And since all three parties have signed an agreement together as a COALITION PARTY.
And since the MSM, promoters, supporters of all three parties (calition)
What is one more issue added to the problem. If Ignatieff who is suppose to be the ringleader of all the three parties and of the media, because of the LIBERAL BRAND, Ignatieff like the previous leaders has entitlement for himself as well. Therefore whatever Ignatieff says like he is democrat from the tip of his head to bottom of his feet or was going to vote for Kerry or whatever, he knows that he is entitle to this own entitlements just as much as the other liberals leaders had.
Only us canadians and the PM and Conservatives are not allowed to have any of the sorts or else the msm will be after us canadians and conservatives for something that never happened but to the msm it did happen so that they have something to write about.
I couldn’t care less about Ignatieff’s citizenship or where he voted.
The man has proven beyond any doubt that he is an idiot and a liar and completely unqualified to lead this country. He is the leader of the most corrupt, dishonest political party in Canadian history with a track record that resembles that of a banana republic dictatorship. He would gladly sell his soul and join forces with socialists and separatists to push aside an elected government.
