Ignatieff’s secret ‘hidden agenda’ is to run for:
1. PM of Canada
If not sucessful:
2. Run for President of US in 2012
If not sucessful:
3. Run for PM of UK
Because the world citizen Liberal creed is to:
“Vote early, vote often, with other people’s money.”

I seem to remember Kerry being extolled as presidential material based on his Kennedy-esque hair stle, could be that Iggy based his deep admiration on this vital aspect, it would help explain the medias fixation on Harpers so called helmet hair.I guess it isn’t natural looking like Craig Owlivers or Floyd Blanderson’s
lets hope Javier Bardems hair from No country’ doesn’t show up.
is his wife a canadian citizen, no.
do i have to pay taxes if i’m not a canadian citizen, no
“Bloody peasants!”
This is getting some traction on Breitbarts Big Government website. This can’t be good for Iggy.
Now here is a better question… did he vote for Obama in 2008?
Bartinsky
Bourque is not enamoured with “iffy” his name for him.
I have an email from Bourque where he calls Iffy “a mess”
No Bourque has other motivations at play….baser motivations.
Micheal Ignatieff,Jack Layton and Gilles Duceppe are in their election bus on their way to a coalition meeting when,’WHAP’; they are struck by a semi and killed.
As the Emergency Medics and police are cleaning up the mess: one officer hears a ‘POOFT’ and presto, there’s Micheal Ignatieff standing there beside a young cop.
“WWhhat are you doing here!?” says the officer,”You’re supposed to be dead?”
Micheal shakes his head and says,”Well I was, but they let me come back.”
“WWell, why would they do that if you were already dead?” asked the poor bewildered rookie.
“Ah,” Micheal said,”It appears we weren’t supposed to be their yet, so St Peter made us a deal that we could buy our way back for a million dollars each.”
“Wow,” says the young cop…”That,s great, but how did you manage that?”
“Oh,”said Micheal,”That was the easy part: I just got the Liberals to dig out some of that brown paper bag money to pay my costs, and here I am!”
“Well, what about the other two?” asked the cop.
“Oh them.” said Micheal,”Well that wasn’t so easy…the Liberal Party wouldn’t give them any of the Adscam money,so I guess Jack is waiting for the Unions to bail him out,and as for Gilles, well I guess he’s waiting the rest of Canada to foot his bill!”
“Mr. Ignatieff has simply confirmed what we already know — that he is a progressive, compassionate liberal. Always has been, always will be,” Liboiron said in an e-mail.
Or maybe he’s confirmed that he is certain that gaunt, aristocratic politicians with a rooted and poorly-concealed contempt for ordinary people make perfect heads of government on both sides of the border.
Why do I now suspect that Iggy believes in the “No Borders” crowd, you know, those folks who think that anyone should be allowed in Canada. No borders, no rules, anyone can vote.
Is this the Canada that most Canadians want? I think not.
IMO, Ignatieff and May are globalists. Or ‘internationalists’ as Ignatieff would say. Ignatieff voted in Britain, called himself an American Democrat who was going to vote for John Kerry in 2004, and his wife does not yet have Canadian citizenship. May’s family are connected to the Clintons; she has both American and Canadian citizenship. My concerns here have to do with Canadian sovereignty and ownership of our natural resources. Ignatieff’s views regarding Cap and Trade (and carbon taxes) speak volumes; our leftist media outlets seem eager to keep his 2009 statements on this issue BURIED.
just think on what the state of the world would be IF senator “lurch” kerry had been elected….or ‘fat’ albert….
mind you it would have scotched barry’s moment in the sun…
i tells ya….we survive we move forward by the skin of our teeth…
I am an American Democrat. I am a British Liberal-Democrat. I can be Canadian too!
Admittedly he’s a pretty unique and interesting character. I guess the definite mark of a Liberal partisan is going to be the ability to keep talking about Harper as American while supporting Iggy.
Sure Ignatieff would vote for Kerry. He also liked to raise taxes…but not pay them.He also embellished his past service record and ancestors.Birds of a feather…..
canucklehead: “I guess the definite mark of a Liberal partisan is going to be the ability to keep talking about Harper as American while supporting Iggy.”
Precisely. Hypocrites, all.
i really hate that kerry creep…..mostly ’cause he pulled that multi billionaire Heinz broad…
From today’s Globe and Mail:
An attempt to confuse the issue?
“The report points to one quote Mr. Ignatieff provided to the Glasgow Herald in 2004, when he was a Harvard professor: ‘I am an American Democrat. I will vote for [John] Kerry in November.’”
Then…(Ignatieff::”So, in 2004, I thought John Kerry was a better idea than George W. Bush and only a conservative would think that George W. Bush was a better choice for the United States, but I can’t vote in the United States and never did.’”
So why say it?
The Liberal candidate appears to be all over the map. Smacks of dishonesty to me.
This is OT but important enough (I hope) to post it here.

And if Harper had ever in his life said “I’m an American Republican…..”
Well it appears our Media Liberal betters want us to move on and not bring the issue up again, the only problem is if he did vote in the US did he break their election laws? Dear Slime Stream Media don’t worry I don’t expect you to continue with this story, to busy reporting the issue re: illegally leaked federal government documents perhaps?
We know the Liberals have many friends in high places and they tend to like leaking at opportune times. We need to find out which friend in high which high place leaked an AG report, it’s serious stuff.
We can only hope the people of this country decide to leak on the Liberals this election, leak as in p*** on them.
Be careful, Mr. Ignatieff. You never know who will not take you at your word and prove how wrong you are.
If anyone has any information on this, I’d like to know who the people were who approached Ignatieff at Harvard re. moving back to Canada to run for Parliament.
Let’s see if I can get this straight: Ignatieff has apparently had voting rights held exclusively for U.S. citizens, the same for citizens of England, he still holds a Countship inherited from the nobility of 19th Century Czarist Russia, and he is also supposedly a Canadian citizen running for Prime Minister. So what gives? Me smells another “birthers” cover-up a la Barack Hussein Obama — Canadian style.
Remember Conrad Black? The Liberals and Chretien wouldn’t even tolerate him being granted a Lordship from the Brits — a symbolic gesture — and allow him to remain a Canadian citizen. The Libs revoked Black’s Canadian citizenship, although the British monarchy is still officially our head of our State.
But Iggy being a Russian Count, and apparently holding a plethora of other citizenship rights abroad as well? NO PROBLEMA SEñORES!
Ah yes the Leaking Lieberals, should be rebranded as the Depends Lieberals with this much leaking, funny how these “leaks” just keep showing up as this clown Iggulas numbers inch down. We need a purge in the snivel serpent department, brown bags have’nt been convieniently left lying around for over 5 years and it shows.
RCGZ-Thanks.
I just heard Icky tell some reporters that he wanted Canada to have a ‘learning’ government. This terminology irritates me so much that I have to address it. Icky claims to be a writer and a educated man; as such, he should know the difference between using past participles or gerunds as nouns and using verbs as an adjectives, modifying nouns. A past participle (past perfect tense of some verbs) can function as a noun but can never be used, properly, as an adjective. No literate person would be caught dead using the term ‘a learning man’, thus a ‘learning government’ is equally incorrect. A man/government (noun and subject) can learn, will learn or has learned …followed by a predicate such as; ‘how to change a tire’, is correct use of the verb ‘learn’. A past participle, when functioning as a subject, cannot modify another noun (that would be redundant) eg “Learning is fun.” (no extra noun in this proper sentence).
Does the continual slaughter of the English language by this silly fellow bother anyone else? I have been forced to wonder; is Icky thumbing his nose to the citizens of Canada by purposely using ‘rube talk’ or is he ignorant? Is he insulting the citizens of Canada or does he really not understand the functions of the different parts of speech? Inquiring minds want to know!
Jema54, Ignatieff has also said “I could care less” when the context and meaning required “I couldn’t care less”…
A news article I read this morning made it sound as though “will” (“I will vote for Kerry”) means the same thing as “would” (“I would vote for Kerry”)….Journalists can be devious that way:)
Jema, he is a member of the intelliduncia, they are far removed from us rubes. They are the only ones who don’t know the difference between theft and honesty, right and wrong etc. I would love to know where Iggulas money is coming from, is it being funneled from the Harvard connection, clandestine foundations run by shady billionaires? These theiving Lieberals have been away from the treasury fo over 5 years, virtually no donations and still they have money to drag Canada through an unneccessary election. Cap and Trade, National Energy Frankenstein Program #2 if Iggula can resussitate the monster and Canada is stupid enough, God help us.

Ron, looks to me as though the Opposition parties, or one or more of them, seized the opportunity to leak this DRAFT (incomplete findings subject to revision) specifically when the House of Commons was not sitting, so its contents would create a big murky, muddy splash all over the Conservatives just before the debates and especially before the VOTE.
Thanks for posting this. As Emily Latella would say, that’s very different.

That Breitbart link… ‘American Democrat’ for Prime Minister of Canada? Or Another Non-citizen Caught Voting in U.S. Elections?
And people say that Canadian elections never get covered in the U.S. Iggy has fixed all that.
Peter went OT when he said in regard to Canada’s debt: “the insane way it is being financed… None of the current parties talk of reforming …none of them will get my vote either.”
All I can say is that with such deep thoughts, we should all be glad he’s NOT voting!

Good link. So I wonder if “Mr. Ethics” Ignatieff will be willing to go back to the U.S. and face an investigation into his alleged voting fraud? Are there extradition treaties for “Canadian” politicians like Iggy (WHO ALSO MAY BE Russian, American, or Brit at the same time!)?

Credited as one of the Liberals who ventured to Harvard and convinced Ignatieff to return to Canada. Prior to his political work, Davey has worked as an independent television producer in Toronto.[3]
* Dan Brock – Principal Secretary to the Opposition Leader, prior to joining Ignatieff’s office, Brock worked as a lawyer in a large Toronto firm.[3]
* Alfred Apps – President of the Liberal Party of Canada and the only member of the group who lives in Rosedale, described by Globe and Mail political affairs columnist Jane Taber as, “a well-connected Bay Street lawyer and one of the Liberals responsible for plucking Michael Ignatieff from Harvard and bringing him back to Canada.”[4]

I think Micheal lies on a regular basis…a pathological liar perhaps?
He just sees himself as royalty….both in his birthright and within academia.
He is too far removed in his own mind to believe that he is not so clever by half.
When King Louis xvi and Marie Antoinette tried to escape Paris during the French Revolution…they most likely would have escaped to the protection of her family in Austria had they not…
A) Stopped at Louis’s insistence at an inn close to the border where he was recognized, and
B) The queen had not insisted in packing her extensive wardrobe along thereby slowing down the escape.
Ahh…the privileged class…not overly bright where it counts!…
Right Count/ er Micheal!!

ricardo @3:38 – I’ve been wondering about that too. Condrad Black can’t receive a British title and hold on to his Canadian citizemship (because of a Cretien vendetta), but Iggy can be a sodding Count, and run for P.M. on the Liberal ticket, and it’s a-okay?

Iggy – you are either a liar, or a victim of Alzheimer’s.
Either way you are not competent enough to be PM!
I-Moi Liberal Count Ignatieff gets a spread on politico.
“It says something about Canada that this isn’t a disqualifier:”.
…-
“Canadian candidate talked of voting elsewhere
It says something about Canada that this isn’t a disqualifier:
[Liberal leader Michael] Ignatieff now claims he has never voted in a foreign country, but quotations from his past suggest he voted Labour in Britain and would vote Democrat in the U.S.
“I am an American Democrat. I will vote for Kerry in November,” Ignatieff told The Glasgow Herald in 2004.”

Good link. So I wonder if “Mr. Ethics” Ignatieff will be willing to go back to the U.S. and face an investigation into his alleged voting fraud? Are there extradition treaties for “Canadian” politicians like Iggy (WHO ALSO MAY BE Russian, American, or Brit at the same time!)?
chutz
* Ian Davey – former Chief of Staff to Leader of the Opposition Michael Ignatieff and son of Senator Keith Davey.
Speedy, thank you very much for the info’!:-)
