  1. And we’re supposed to trust this guy when he tells us that he will not try to form a coalition? That is the number 1 issue in this election.

  2. The man will sell his own family legacy out. What did they expect for themselves……..?

  3. I wonder who screened Biffy, and signed his nomination forms – Boob Ray?
Who was the one that did the background check on Biffy?
I can not wait until “Fox North” is on the air, perhaps they would ask those questions.
Still no word if the LIEberals that owed Elections Canada their thousands of dollars, are runnung in this election.
If they are, why don’t the Conservative War Room expose them and ask why illegal candadates are running for the LIEberals.
Elections Canada is gaining the reputation of Global Warming/Climatte Change – nothing but a joke.

  4. He should come out with a clintonian denial now: “When I was in America, I experimented with stepping into that booth. But I didn’t cast a ballot.”

  5. Thing is, if Iggy wins the election, we will have another thing the U.S. doesn’t have — an American leader.

  6. So if he did vote in the USA and that is illegal, if he was convicted, would he a Felon?

  7. “dumb, dumb, dumb.” dumb dumb ….

“Liberal Party of Canada postpones convention
I just received an email from Liberal Party President Alf Apps letting me know June’s convention has been postponed, without any further explanation.
    Apps has this to say:
As we work together to win this election, the Liberal Party of Canada is postponing the 2011 Biennial Convention, which had been scheduled for June 17-18 in Ottawa. The good news is that a new date will be set shortly, as per our constitution, to take place within six months of the original date. Stay tuned for more updates.
    That is ridiculous.
Apps has now provided the Conservatives, the NDP and the media with an opportunity to start the week off with claims that:
    A) The Liberal Party is broke and can’t afford a convention; or
    B) The Liberal Party believes that Ignatieff is going to lose, and the next convention will be a leadership convention.
Either way, dumb, dumb, dumb. Apps can’t be replaced soon enough.”

  8. The Laser: A Trifecta + Is the left MSM also a fraud?
“*One of the functions of the media is to protect the public from fraudulent statements made by public figures.”
    1. Brian Lilley has put the laser on Liberal Count Ignatieff:
“Asked to clarify why Ignatieff once said he would vote for Kerry and why he says now that he has never voted outside of Canada, Ignatieff’s spokesman dodged the questions.”
    2. Daniel Leblanc of the Globe-Mail put the laser on the Liberal Ad$Cam fraud of Liberals Chretien/MartinJr.
    3. Liberal Count Ignatieff’s o’Harvard buddy comes under the laser of Donald Trump.
    …-
“*Donald Trump Scores an Important Victory… Over the Media”
“But Trump has achieved something important. His decision to focus like a laser on Obama’s failure to produce a birth certificate has highlighted the absolute corruption of the American media on the subject of Obama, and the dangers of power granted in the absence of an unaligned press.
Given that Obama’s primary claim to the presidency has been his compelling life story — his biracialism, his international upbringing, especially the time he spent in Muslim lands — the media has shown shockingly little interest in several pieces of information about Obama’s life which might legitimately concern voters. Nowhere in his biographies, for example, does Obama mention his 1981 trip to Pakistan, where he stayed with influential political leaders from that country at a time when a State Department advisory warned U.S. citizens against travel to Pakistan. There has also been a strange disinterest in Obama’s 2006 trip to Kenya where, as a sitting U.S. senator, Obama criticized the incumbent government (a U.S. ally) and barnstormed with a Marxist candidate he supported. So too, there has been nary a peep among media elites over Obama’s funding of the radical “education” work of bomb thrower Bill Ayers, or his own work on behalf of the activist group ACORN, the now defunct largest purveyor of voter registration fraud in American history (and, apparently, an enabler of under aged prostitution.).
One of the functions of the media is to protect the public from fraudulent statements made by public figures. The unwillingness of the media to fulfill this role in the case of Obama has led to significant, and probably needless, public tension. Obama’s resistance to releasing the long version of his birth certificate, has served not only to raise legitimate speculation about the circumstances surrounding his birth, but to give fodder to anti-Obama extremists.”

  9. It depends on the what the meaning of “vote” is.
(apologies to the Great Parser for that one)

  10. Technically speaking, Iggy himself didn’t vote for Kerry, etc, he was probably just channeling
the desires of some fellow Democrats who weren’t able to make it to the polls due to debilitating
conditions like death or terminal illness.
    .

  11. There HAS to be a voters list from Mass. somehere….please show he had voted….criminal!

  12. Stephens right. If mi voted there would be a record of it. And he would have had to register his party affiliation. I doubt he did either. Voting in the us is nOt an easy process.

  13. I don’t think it matters who you vote for. They are all just puppets controlled by corporations.
Talk about balancing the budget under a fiat monetary system, is impossible.A Government has only two ways to obtain money. One is taxation of it’s citizens, the other is borrowing from the banks. It is ludicrous for the government to put billions of dollars into circulation by borrowing from the private banks, when it can create the extra money it needs, virtually free. The Canadian government’s deficit is not about its size, or its size relative to the GDP, but the insane way it is being financed. None of the current parties talk of reforming our current system, none of them will get my vote either.

  14. Brian lilley will be on sun t.v.’s roster along with adler and a bunch of others so we will see i hope this all works out !!

  15. Let me fix that quote for him:
“Mr. Ignatieff has simply confirmed what we already know — that he is a lying opportunistic scumbag. Always has been, always will be,”

  16. Gord,
Well apparently it is easier in some states than other 😉 (The dead shall rise in Illinois)
However, compliant returinging officers in Democratic friendly districts could make this easier.
Best case for Iggy, he just comes across as a boaster and a chameleon. It wont play well either way, because he clearly is able to change with the elites he is hanging around with. This is the downside of being an unapologetic “cosmo” you actually have no country, because most of the time it is to burdensome, and peasant like, to do so.
This is just who he is. He can make a virtue of necessity, I have lots of world experience (well world salon experience) and he can try to compare himself to Wayne Gretzky (remeber Wayne’s uncle ran for the cons in Cambridge and I sure hope Wayne corrects Iggy for continually using his name)
So one hopes the con campaign has finally woken up, bring more evidence to their previous themes on Iggy and highlight the thing form the crypt (the ultimate tax on everything, cap and trade)

  18. what my old Guv told me years ago when i was first entering the lists seems exquisitely apposite somehow……your contexts may vary of course but….
“son…in your dealings with broads…NEVER put anything in writing…”

  19. The Lieberals should change their name to The Lucy Party of Canada. Canadians, thanks to blogs like this and the many others that are exposing the frauds that liberals and our so called MSMs are everywhere. Sorry Craig Oliver, Jane, Jeffrey Margret etal, we will not be your Charlie Browns anymore. The lieberals have always held the football only to pull it before the punt, well this time we’re punting the holders, the liars. Remember the red book (Cretin) I won’t raise your gas tax (Turdough) it’s over liars. Great post Maz also.

  20. Don’t expect the media to have anything to say about this issue, they are all too busy writing their articles on how iffy won tomorrow nights debate.

  21. I sent the link to this story to Bourque who basically does nothing but slam PMSH and always shows Iggy in the best light possible. Not much chance he’ll post it on his blog.

  22. “””” they are all too busy writing their articles on how iffy won tomorrow nights debate.”””
that’s impossible, as the debate is tomorrow, the analysis was written last week, so as not have time for pee-R review

  23. Iggula is to Peeair Bourque like Justin Beiber is to a 13 year old girl, and he acts just like a 13 year old with his patetic blog. Next thing he will post will be Iggys is bigger than Harpers, wait for it.

  24. Canadian Politics
Jack Layton (NDP) met with the Queen of England.
He asked her, “Your Majesty, how do you run such an efficient government? Are there any tips you can give to me in case I form the next
    government?”
“Well,” said the Queen, “the most important thing is to surround yourself with intelligent people.”
Layton frowned, and then asked, “But how do I know if the people around me are really intelligent?”
The Queen took a sip of tea. “Oh, that’s easy, you just ask them to answer an intelligent riddle”. The Queen pushed a button on her intercom.
“Please send Tony Blair in here, would you?”
Tony Blair walked into the room and said, “Yes, my Queen?”
The Queen smiled and said, “Answer me this please, Tony, your mother and father have a child. It is not your brother and it is not your sister.
Who is it?”Without pausing for a moment, Tony Blair answered, “That would be me.”
“Yes! Very good,” said the Queen.
Layton went back home to ask Mike Ignatief, his Liberal cohort. “Answer this for me Iggy; Your mother and your father have a child. It’s not your brother and it’s not your sister. Who is it?”
“I’m not sure,” said Iggy. “Let me get back to you on that one..” He went to his advisers and asked every one, but none could give him an answer.
Finally, he ended up in the men’s room and recognized Steven Harper’s shoes in the next stall.
Iggy asked Harper, “Hey Steve, can you answer this for me? Your mother and father have a child and it’s not your brother or your sister. Who is it?”
Harper answered back, “That’s easy you dummy, it’s me!”
Iggy smiled, and said, “Thanks!” Then, he went back to speak with Layton.
“Say Jack, I did some research and I have the answer to that riddle. It is Steven Harper.” Layton got mad and yelled “No you bloody idiot it is not! It’s Tony Blair”!

  25. 2004 wasn’t that long ago, just a few years in fact. And he wants to be a Canadian Prime Minister? ISN’T THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? Jeepers.

  26. I love this:
Q: “How many Canadian elections did you vote in when you were living overseas?”
Ignatieff: “I voted in a couple. Can’t remember, happy to tell you. But I voted in Canadian elections since I was able to vote.”
Can’t remember, happy to tell you” – it’s the Liberal mantra:
“Where were you on the evening of October 12, 2003?”
“Can’t remember, happy to tell you.”
“What happened to the millions of dollars funneled back to the Liberal Party in the course of this money-laundering scheme?”
“Can’t remember, happy to tell you.”
“How many Canadian elections did you vote in when you were living overseas?”
“Can’t remember, happy to tell you.”

  27. There is nothing wrong with working and writing in the USA and that writing can even be emboldened with a “I’m one of you” style but it bears repeating; if the conservatives placed before the Canadian electorate a candidate for PM with a similiar history to Mr. Ignatieff the voices of outrage from our media would be deafening.

  28. Forbes: The Thinking Man’s Candidate.
Who is in the sad sack with Liberal Count Ignatieff?
Old man Time: “by 5 p.m. Monday.”
    …-
    “Liberals can’t sack controversial candidate”
“Disgraced Liberal candidate Andre Forbes, who allegedly called natives “featherheads” and “lazy” years ago while heading a white rights group, isn’t going away quietly.
And while Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff thinks he sacked Forbes as a Liberal candidate last week, apparently he can’t actually do that.
Forbes, who will be addressing the media Monday to answer NDP “attacks” against him, is still listed as the confirmed candidate for the Quebec riding of Manicouagan on Elections Canada’s website.
“And the law does not contain any provision that would allow a party to remove its support to a confirmed candidate,” Elections Canada’s Serge Fleyfel told Le Soleil newspaper. Only Forbes can resign, by 5 p.m. Monday.
A member of Forbes’ team told Le Soleil he hasn’t ruled out running as an Independent.
“But his first option would be to remain as a Liberal candidate.”
If he doesn’t resign, the Liberal Party will not be allowed to run another candidate in the riding.”
    http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/CanadaVotes/News/2011/04/11/17946151.html

  29. “I am an American Democrat. I will vote for Kerry in November,” Ignatieff told The Glasgow Herald in 2004.” (Kate headline)
Remember when the media went on and on and on about the fact that Stephen Harper was from Western Canada? As if to say, that would disqualify him in some way.
    Hmmmm…

  30. “…it bears repeating; if the conservatives placed before the Canadian electorate a candidate for PM with a similiar history to Mr. Ignatieff the voices of outrage from our media would be deafening. nold at 10:58PM”
That sums it up. Ditto down here in the Great Satan, regarding Pres. Zero.
Anyone doubt that the MSM in Canada and the US are shameless leftist propagandists, not unbiased, professional journalists?

  31. “they are all too busy writing their articles on how iffy won tomorrow nights debate”
The so-called debate is a joke as the Three Stooges will pile on PMSH and generally behave badly. Millions of Canadians won’t bother watching the debacle, and will rely on the media for their analysis. PMSH will be portrayed as adversarial and mean-spirited. Ignatieff could have a complete meltdown and fling chairs about, Layton could run off the stage in tears and Duceppe could pee his pants on national TV and the media would report that PMSH was the loser.
Anyone who bases his/her vote on this debate shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

  32. Just wondering but has any MSM asked Iffy if he made application for US citizenship? Why do I get the feeling that the anglo/amero-phile may actually have cast that vote because he is a Yank.

  33. Nold and Dave in PA, Good point.
The Conservative ads “just visiting” and “not in it for you” are targeted to affect Liberal supporters. Small c conservatives are much more open minded about such things, but Liberals have whipped their supporters into outraged frenzies against Albertans, rednecks, American style health-care etc so often that they have attracted all types of haters.

  34. I’m Canadian. Now I’m American. Now I’m British. Nope, American again. Nope again, back to Canadian.
