We had a big Conservative rally in the West Island of Montreal yesterday and the CBC didn’t have anything about it, including video as far as I could tell. CTV did a fairly good job of covering it. But CBC just gave endless air time to Elizabeth May and the possibility of a one on one debate between Harper and Iggy.

I am surprised no one has run with this narrative regarding the coalition effort. If said coalition is such a good idea, maybe it would be better to do away with the party system and have 4 regional coalition parties.

Members are elected from each geographical location and then negotiate to form the ruling party in the house. ON and Western Canada, for example, could decide that their issues are somewhat similer and form and accord, lol, to run the government. What could possibly go wrong? I cannot pay any attention to the campaign or any debates or anything about this election. I don’t need to. I am a right leaning person and therefore I will vote for the most right leaning party.
