  2. If I am not mistaken, coconut oil is the only one that does not break down into harmful and carcinogenic substances when heated.
    That’s been common knowledge among the health food freaks like me for quite a while. But don’t let the truth stand in the way of a perfect smear campaign.
    Popcorn is harmful, but not due to coconut oil – it is due to diacetyl.

He objects, but is firmly told that although cigarettes were long considered bad for you, scientists had discovered that actually they are good for you, and just the ticket for someone who has suffered a shock.

  6. But but but the Canola lobby told me coconut oil was bad, and peanut oil and sunflower oil and corn oil were all bad. What’s more they had studies to back them up! Surely the lobby for the most genetically modified plant in the history of mankind can not be fabricating facts out of thin air. They have scientific studies!!!!! I mean look at the science involved in modifying the canola…..

  7. C’mon this is all about getting rid of oil. Our shiny headed decision makers don’t know any better, their mandate is to get Americans off of oil … coconuts notwithstanding.
    On a more serious note … if our scientists continue to lie to us and continue to do boondoggle science, we will stop believing anything they say at all no matter what it is.
    We have already stopped believing our politicians. Now that scientists have become the bedfellows of leftist politicians, we must judge them by their friends as always. That goes for Obama and his shady and very distasteful pals whom many are now judging him by. Not looking good for 2012 … it’s going to ugly so … Pass the popcorn … make mine oily.

    had a quiet word with the wife of the first Indonesian citizen to be elected president of the USA
    and the “bad” oil became “good” oil.

  10. Big Corn …. Big Canola … any chance the studies finding coconut and palm oil harmful were infuenced?
    Paid for even? Of course the positive reports can be just as one sided ……
    BTW … there is one big downside to palm plantations … waste from the extraction is being dumped into the environment and it is killing everything where it is dumped. It also polutes waterways and aquifers in regions which cannot afford the waste of water resources.
    The production may not be in the much overused parlance … sutainable.

    Like Sgt Lejaune suggests, the palm, corn, olive and canola oil issue, as well as innumerable other issues is all politics. Follow the money and politics of the researchers and politicians.

    It would really impress me if they came out with a report demonstrating how incredibly damaging most environmentalist policies are.

  19. Any who are interested should check out weston a price dot org. he was a canadian dentist who traveled the world studying diet and health via dentitian. The food lobby is very powerful and they have us all by the short and curlies via the WTOs dispute resolution mechanism and UN organized joint FAO/WHO operated body known as the Codex Alimentarius Commission. Imagine the standard fare corruption and incompetance of any UN agency and then imagine what YOUR food will be like once they are done. One of my most memorable conversations attending one of their confabs in Germany was with a delagate from India who cursed to me that just one of the “additives” approved for baby formula at the meeting would lead to 100,000 disabled children in India in the next decade…but hey, it was good for Nestle and their cohorts.

In your vast experience and deep personal knowledge is it possible…just a teensy weensy bit of possible that the actual pattern of crooked institutional behavior is everywhere in the UN? Your comment is exactly what I’d expect from a useful idiot or PR firm troll. here’s a couple more “out liers” for you…oil for food, UNSC, any conflict in Africa and refugee camp, IAEC and on and on…But when I point out the obvious, that the same crooks are running the nutrition show, I’m a “conspiracy theorist”. Excellent use of the abundant gifts God has blessed you with my friend.

  23. Not sure if it’s a conspiracy, but demonizing your competitor is certainly a common marketing tool. I’ve been sucked into more food safety fads, over the years, than seems possible. After more than 35 years, I’m right back where I started, eating what made my ancestors strong and healthy. I suppose there are more additives than my ancestors consumed, but there are also fewer bacteria, and less chance of manure in my milk. My vegetables and fruit have traces of pesticides, but the stove I cook them on isn’t giving me lung cancer. My meat has trace amounts of antibiotics, and hormones, but not a single maggot. My bread has a bit of Roundup in it, but I no longer have to worry about stomach cancer from all the unground fibre.
    People have been dying for as long as I can remember, and I see no end to that trend, no matter what we eat.

Coach, if you live in TO I think we’ve met, but I digress…demonizing your competition may be effective marketing, but co-opting global standard setting agencies and using them to turn your competitors into “criminals” is far more profitable. Note the patterns at the IPCC and say incadescent light bulbs, apply same logic/process to food. By the way I just noticed I’d called it the IPPC above, that’s because I live in BC and we are dealing with another facet of the globalist “gem” here with BC Hydro. Independant Power Producers here have gamed the system so well that they are forcing Hydro to buy their production for more than 10 times its value at a time when Hydro has excess capacity (spring).

  27. Pardon my denseness, but what does any of this have to do with the Jews(other than the obvious cultural excellence of their dishes and the love of good food)? The only “conspiracy” at Codex is third world nation state delgations being given their marching orders by global corporate players chasing what they percieve as easy money. They enforce their agenda by perking the EU, former colonial types with gravey for insisting their former colonies toe the line or lose aid funding and/or development money. And most third world voting delegates don’t even try and disguise this fact.

  28. Well you can’t have a good conspiracy without the jews. Everyone knows that. Doesn’t matter is you’re a crazy commie making up conspiracy theories about the wester nations, or a neo-nazi nutter railing against the NWO, EVERYONE involves the jews in some capacity. If you find that your conspiracy theory doesn’t involve the jews, it’s time to re-think your premise.
