From a live performance last month in Wisconsin, here is the taxpayer-funded vocal group The Extortionaires:

Open Question: Has anyone seen Ron Schiller and Jess in the same place at the same time?! Hmmmmm…
Although the previous gaggle of trolls around these parts was never very inspiring or thought-provoking, this latest edition makes their predecessors look downright profound.
New was profoundly entertaining in a trolly sort of way.
How about this one?
“Hey Hey Ho Ho – Unions have got to go”
Looks and sounds more like FREEDOM than democracy. These “protestors” seem a bit confused. Democracy provided a Republican governor, freedom allows them to chant against that democratic result in public institutions. Iran, for example, has ‘democracy’ but no freedom to protest the result. Egypt was/is the same.
Absolutely, Robert. They’re confusing “me-me-me and only me” with democracy. When democratically elected representatives – “fleebaggers” – hightail it out of the state to avoid a vote they know they’re going to lose, and when mobs of teat-suckers shut down elected representatives in an attempt to force the majority of taxpayers – who, on average, make far less than the teat-suckers – to to subsidize these teat-suckers, it’s not “democracy” in any sense of the word that I’m aware of.
People – the taxpayers – are entitled to vote in favor of more bloated perks and entitlements for government employees, and they’re entitled to vote in favour of a more responsible and a more limited government. That’s democracy, and at this point it’s beyond dispute — at least among those people who are still slightly sane and reasonable — that public sector unions who refuse to compromise are *opposed* to democracy. They want the people who pay their bills to forget about what’s actually happening; their entirely self-referential, watch-the-hand chants of “This is what democracy looks like!” are a purely pecuniary, desperate exercise in public relations bullshit. Certain public sector employees – i.e. people who are hired by the taxpayers – seem to think that the combination of mulish self-righteousness and a couple of dated slogans will effectively obviate, in the average taxpayers’ mind, the differences between, say, a genuinely impoverished 1930s Kentucky coal miner and a modern-day public sector union employee. And we’re not supposed to notice that they’re just *mindfully* parroting the language of put-upon, hungry workers of times past in order to force their neighbours to pay for their – frankly – un-Coal-miner-esque perks.
The bottom line is that public sector union employees are not in any way, shape, or form “the people”, but you’d never know it from listening to them.
Whoops…actually…wait a minute…
Oooh! African drumming!
Sorry, I’d like to retract this comment…
Let them play. They lost in the worst way.
At the ballot box. The next round will be an even worse political massacre for Dems. Plus the laws they didn’t want by running away, or holding Union chicken pecks. Have been passed.
This Its a public building, as long as they want to hold their rave there without violence . Fine by me.
Democrats just can’t get it in their heads that they don’t still govern after losing. We see plenty of that here.

Who let all the sheep into the capitol?
I’ll tell them what democracy looks like: it looks like a day in November of 2010 when the people of the state of Wisconsin went to the polling stations and elected Scott Walker as governor, that’s what democracy looks like.
I had an awful dream. I was there and fresh out of hand-grenades…
Saw over at PJM, a fella was spectulating that Wisconsin’s draconian fire-arms regs may change dramatically as a result of this nonsense.
The Dems have been publishing the home addresses of the Republican Senators etc. All it will take is a coupla bus loads of union idiots to unload at a senators house…… http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/author/mikemcdaniel/
By “working people”, jess, do you mean the people who are paid with money taken involuntarily from other working people who earn less? Because that’s what public sector union members are.
If we’re “undemocratic traitors”, what do you call public sector union members who use mob action in an attempt to force people who earn less than they do to pay up? Do you call that democracy?
Joe Hill was a working person; public sector unions and Teamsters and the like are *fat cats*. Maybe some day you’ll wake up and start to grasp that.
Gosh, I despise unions, govt workers, etc. I just love it when they are mad because that means we are winning…..no more freeloading guys…it’s over and everything if great in the world.
