This is a ripoff from a commenter at HotAir. (There is a beauty in this I didn’t see) Yeah … several questions about O’Keefe “trickling out” the videos. It’s a standard Alinsky tactic – which James like to use against the Libbies. Essentially – he can provoke even greater dishonesty and overreaction by the organizaion through the “trickle out”. The fun thing about this is … only James has the full picture of what happened. The people at NPR – well each individual has “bits and pieces” and some have more parts of the puzzle than others – but in the end – since he talked to numerous people – no one at NPR has a full appreciation for what damage their personnel caused here. As a result – you can bet NPR is eating itself alive right now on the inside. Huge meetings going on – with people sweating and executives demanding … “Okay – who else did he talk to!??” and “Are you sure you’ve told us EVERYTHING you said??!!” Since even the people he talked to have no idea if the most damning things they said are on tape, or even if O’Keefe will release those portions – then lying to keep your job is an option – and one that’s “worth a shot” even at long odds. LOL! Sooo … the organization has to do “damage control” … without knowing the full extent of their employee’s transgressions in the sting! It’s beautiful. And what’s better is – now NPR has to “overreact” in it’s fundraising department. In order to avoid future stings of this nature – they have to considerably “tighten” up their rules for accepting donations – which is going to negatively impact future fundraising – so their finances take a hit too! And you just know that someone over at NPR wants to call James and “settle this thing” so the pain ends … but … how are they to know if he won’t report that also! Beautiful … just beautiful! and … it’s not over yet! I’m willing to bet he has Vivian Schiller on tape – and that’s why she was fired. The real headline isn’t the willingness to hide the donation, it’s the fact that, at 38:12, the investigator asks “are you suggesting that NPR is considering not accepting a contribution from us?”, to which the NPR chick responds at 38:16 “No, no, no, no, NO!”, and repeats a further 5 “Nos” a few seconds later; the investigator then confirms at 39:43 that “I’m glad to hear there aren’t any concerns”.
This blows away NPR’s claim that they repeatedly refused the donation attempt.
James O’Keefe has proven to be an excellent investigator and journalist. The fact that he has almost certainly refused hush money speaks volumes for his good character and integrity. He is a temp plate of what reporting should be…he has raised the bar way above the sorry corrupt heads of MSM!! He will win and the ‘talking heads’ will lose because people respect and crave honesty and integrity in news – something Canadians have not had in many years. Make CBC produce answers to those information requests – it would be a start. America does not have the same track record of Liberano/Bolshevik news control and collaboration as does Canada so our star may be hesitant to rise. But they dont see it that way. It is just another religon and more importantly it is a “victim” and standing up against the west. Therefore it deserves to be protected and nurtured.
And besides, $5 mill would exceed their quota and earn them bonuses. A nice confluence of politics and greed.

This “trickling out” tactic – even if it’s entirely a ruse, and an empty threat – effectively hobbles NPR’s ability to issue, in the interest of public relations damage control, statements that this incident was a one-off, because they know they could well be exposed as liars by the release of further information.
It’s quite interesting to watch this go down. In a courtroom trial, the prosecution has to make available to the defense all the information in their possession; in real-life battles like this one, there’s a little more…chess going on.

none of which apparently had any political sideshows or secondments which
sought his talents. That seems most unlikely.
The “return” to a comfortable sinecure in Aspen post NPR has imploded
(now that was stretching it a bit considering his “partner” never left Aspen for
career reasons) but was convenient, since he commuted back and forth from
there to work for “peoples radio”. The carbon footprint must have been enormous!
