What We Really Need Is Democracy

With millions of voters informed by historical revisionism and conspiracy theory.

Examples are far too numerous. Here are just a few that range from the comical: deadly shark attacks in Sinai attributed to the Mossad, through to the nauseating: the usurping of Holocaust language to describe the conflict (as in the website www.shoah.org.uk), to the truly astonishing: denial of Jewish history on Temple mount. In this video from Israel’s Channel 2 news (minute 1:30, Hebrew and Arabic) the Mufti of Jerusalem claims that the recent excavations of a drainage tunnel from the Second Temple period are really Muslim artifacts and not Jewish at all – even though they date from 2000 years ago, 20 years before Jesus was born and 600 years before Mohammad took his first breath.

Madmanjerkoff Ahmadinejad claims he has a direct line of communication with a 1000 year old Hidden Imam, a Messiah-like figure in Shiite Islam who is supposed to emerge at the end of time to install eternal justice.
Several times a year, Mad Ahmadinejad takes his entire cabinet to Jamkaran, a suburb of the “holy” city of Qom, to report to this Hidden Imam.
In Jamkaran there is a well that is supposed to lead to the place where the Hidden Imam is in hiding.
In a solemn ceremony, Ahmadinejad throws copies of his government’s budget and other edicts into the well for consideration by the Hidden Imam. (Wall Street Journal Europe)

If they ever throw that old 1000 year bastard a GPS device he will nuke Jerusalem.
Israel will then use their Solomon Nuclear Retaliation plan,
and several Mideast countries will become Caliphate Glass.

  2. It isn’t just the muslims. I hear the same foolishness from my Chinese friends. They’ve been listening to the commies so long, they actually believe the Chinese invented everything from the computer, to the automobile. Once a generation has listened to this, the majority of the population will believe it, no matter what.

  3. Well, yeah. Why do y’all think they shut down the internet?
And if you want to hear some real scary crazy stuff, you don’t need to talk to any foreigners. Canada is more successfully propagandized than Egypt ever thought about being. Socialized medicine is a Canadian Value, for gawd sakes.

  4. glasnost-
    Never knew that,
    interesting.
My mother worked at Oak Ridge Tenn. from 1943 until 1948 developing the first bomb.

Trinitite, is the name given to the glassy residue left on the desert floor after the plutonium-based Trinity nuclear bomb test on July 16, 1945

    Anyway..
That Islamic ‘Dome of the Rock’ in Jerusalem and that ‘black meteor in Mecca’ will be about 3 inches high when the Iranians screw up their target coordinates.
Mad Adinnerjerkoff and his 1000 year old unman will then be known as the idiots who cause the destruction of all the worlds main Islamic Holy sites.

We are highly confident the Isreali’s call it the “Sampson Option”.

  6. . . . through to the nauseating: the usurping of Holocaust language to describe the conflict . . .
In ’67 when the Arabs, ahem, re-Christened themselves, they chose the name Palestinian, which
    a) they can’t pronounce properly due to the lack of ability to pronounce “p”.
    b) as I’m always happy to point out, “Palestinian” comes from another Hebrew word meaning “foreigner.”

  7. What is it with Arabs/muslims and their inability to handle reality? Is it some kind of self-inflicted delusion to compensate for their failures and lack of worldly success?

  8. Mississauga Matt – derives from the word “Philistine” anyway, as you know; a much maligned people, to whom the noun/adjective should not be applied.
    Fred: Yes.

  9. Fred- They don’t feel the need to have pride in their accomplishments. They believe all our advancements are simply allah’s gift to them. All they have do do is retrieve these things from us, since they are the rightful owners. Don’t try to rationalize anything these misfits do or think. It will drive you crazy.
What we need, more than anything, is the resolve to stop helping them destroy us, with our misplaced Christian charity.
One way to practise this resolve, is to watch those phony save the children ads on CTV, and say to yourself, “they aren’t real”. Repeat until the commercial is over.

  10. Black Mamba,
Just to finish off the subject, the following is from Carl in Jerusalem:
The term “Palestina” was invented by the Roman emperor Hadrian. The Romans wanted to rename Eretz Yisrael (the Land of Israel) after the Philistines, the longtime enemy of the Jews. Hadrian believed that by renaming the Jewish homeland after the Jews’ archenemy, he would be able to forever break the bond between the Land of Israel and the Jewish people.
The Romans pillage Jerusalem – A Roman bas-relief, still extant on an ancient building in Rome, shows Roman soldiers robbing the menorah and other sacred objects of the Beit HaMikdash HaSheni (the Second Holy Temple)
But even the name of the Philistines, from which the term “Palestine” was adopted, is completely alien to the Land of Israel.
The name Philistines in Hebrew is plishtim, which comes from the Hebrew verb polshim (foreign invaders).

  11. Matt – yes (and interesting. Didn’t know about Hadrian, who had quite the love life BTW). But the Philistines themselves seem to have been an interesting bunch who weren’t necessarily, um, philistines. I definitely doubt they’re anything to do with the present lot of oughta-be-Jordanians.
One dodgy chick and everyone’s reputation is ruined. Sigh. But that’s ancient history.
