  1. Do not send your children to public school. I repeat, do not send your children to public school.

  2. All the more evidence that we have allowed stupid people to breed with other stupid people for far too long.

  3. Cheap stunt, picking on neophytes.
To be fair, those girls are teens, or as I prefer to catagorize, it’s their breeding season. It will remain so untill around 35-40 or so.
Egypt, politics, world affairs are the furthest things from their minds. They’re funny, to us, sure, but it’s not their fault.

  4. Wow. I can maybe — and ONLY maybe — give them a pass on not knowing what’s going on in Egypt at the moment. Even that’s quite the stretch. But, my gawd, to not be able to place Egypt on a map is truly jaw-dropping. Any 10 year old should be able to point to Egypt on a map.

  5. On the bright side, these two pretty young women will one day meet handsome young men,and have many, many babies who will grow up to be at least as well informed as their parents!
The world is in good hands!
If they lived in Canada, they’d both be candidates for the Green Party, and would live in the Gulf Islands.

  6. As for the party if Canadian… if they were aware of an election, inclined to vote, and didn’t get lost on the way to the polling both.. Green Party obviously.
The Green Party is the most simplistic. The NDP, they wouldn’t know that it stands for. Do you really think those girls would understand terms like socialism or leftwing?

  7. Egypt on a map?
Ask any 16 year old.See what happens.
7 out of 10 will fail, I’m sure.
I’m not giving them a free pass.
They are just living up to my low expectations.

  8. Good premise, but not great execution. Shoulda done more probing for funds of knowledge. But still – we should do a few vids like that up here!

  9. Srue they’re dumb kids, etc, etc.
But I’ve always wondered how many smart Americans Rick Mercer edited out when he made “Talking to Americans”.

  10. I agree with “eastern paul”
…so I don’t think that these girls would be a member of any political party here in Canada, because these girls are clearly not interested in politics or world events…and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Now..if they were equally as uninformed, while marching, breaking windows, etc…then that would be a different story.
    …I miss Kate.

  11. I’ve met many Canadians in their 30’s & 40’s who are as equally ignorant as this pair. Sorry, but you’ll never convince me that there’s something just not right with a person who doesn’t keep themselves reasonably well informed about what’s going on in the world. I know, I know, they’re not criminals and they’re not doing anything malicious but I still find it most odd.

  12. True, they might not be voting abscent a ‘Get Out the Vote’ effort on the part of the Dems.
You see, uninformed people like these girls fall into the Liberal camp by default.
And if they don’t vote, they’ll probably be registered to vote by some Dem zealot and then another Dem will use that registration to vote in their name.
You see, successful democracies only work when people exercise their franchise or chances are someone will exercise that franchise for them.
The Dems aren’t joking when they say, “Vote early and vote often.” and they’re adamant that there won’t be a requirement for voter IDs for that very reason.

  13. Before I opened up the comments I thought these two girls were prime Green Party material. Looks like I’m not the only “great mind” in the bunch. LOL!! They have as much political sophistication as Saskboy.

  14. I think you’ll find they both pointed to Algeria, so perhaps they have a clue where Egypt is now headed.

  15. Robert W. (Vancouver)
Yeah me too but the scary part was last time they were at my door convassing for the Greens, the LIBRANOs and the NDP….three teams of morons.
I have a map of the world on the wall and none could put the laser pointer on Isreal, A-stan or Pakistan….but they all were convinced we shouldn’t be there………

  16. I agree with Kate that these bimbos would not bother to vote…It’s the farthest thing from their pea brains and that’s good, I guess. I also agree with Robert, it’s not just the young ones anymore.
There are so many ‘vulnerable’ living dead like that, walking in North America, it’s truly scary.
When the days of correction come, the ignorant by choice will be the first to perish.
Ignorance is the short legged dog. He’s fine until he loose the master who feeds him.

  17. You can find an abundance of such kids on any high school grounds. I don’t remember knowing anything about politics when I was that age.
I prefer to keep young people out of politics because they have not lived long enough and had enough experience to make a good judgment about whom to vote for and why.
The sad thing is that they will not get a balanced exposure later in life with the MSM shilling for the left and universities and colleges indoctrinating for communism.
Our system is worn out and messed up. We need a real purging of everything. That won’t happen until there is sharia law …. they purge real good.
Meanwhile, we are stuck with what we have which is designed to not allow change, but rather just to talk about it.

  18. Well, Robert, I haven’t read any of the other comments yet to avoid any coloring of my thoughts. If I’m repeating others comments I apologize.
I think that if those young people were Canadians they quite likely would be about as ignorant of the Egyptian situation. The guy with the mike neither said or did anything that might cause them to take any interest. Quite the opposite, in fact. He was a dickhead.
I was probably around those girls’ age when as a naive and exited first time voter, I went for the Trudeaumania liberal candidate. Four years later I had grown up.

  19. 50% people have IQ below average (never mind a testing method). If you have really high IQ, let say over 130 then you are in top 2%. Same with the beauty no matter how subjective it is, only low single digit percentage of population can be considered as a model material. Can you imagine how tormented must be live of people who are intelligent and beautiful ? They are not even a minority, they are freaks of nature.
You may feed your low level instincts on expressing disdain for “stupid Americans” or indulge in self-loathing “stupid Canadians”. However this has nothing to do with a specific culture or education system. We live in a world full of stupid and ugly people. They usually end up working for a government bureaucracy, would that be Canada, USA, Egypt or India.

  20. These girls are a prime example of why voters should be forced to take, and pass a simple quiz prior to casting their ballots. Fail the quiz? Sorry, but you’re too stupid to have a hand in deciding who will govern.
No where is this more evident than here in Saskatchewan. NDP supporters are invariably the elderly who have been duped into thinking that the Sask Party has a “hidden agenda” which includes turfing the drug plan and privatizing nursing homes. These people are accompanied by throngs of government and health care workers who have been told by their respective unions that only the NDP are capable of looking after their interests.
Not surprisingly, these are the same people that equate nuclear energy to Hiroshima and Chernobyl.

  21. Abe Froman at 10:24 AM: “I prefer to keep young people out of politics because they have not lived long enough and had enough experience to make a good judgment about whom to vote for and why.”
    ===============
Which is why the NDP always advocate lowering the voting age.

  22. I am worried that there is going to be an attempt to make voting mandatory, the way it (sort of) is in Australia. Then Kimmi and Veronica will be voting, and probably not for a flat tax. Other promising constituencies include Federal Prisoners and homeless crack addicts.
(p.s. with apologies to FFofF: Too dumb to be really Asian?)

  23. Louise – ah yes, 15 year olds. Another voting block that can be relied upon to sympathize with cute seals and trees and people who want to take money from rich greedy people and give it to sad poor people. Give the vote, force them to vote!

  24. Kate said it best, they won’t be voting. I have trouble worrying about people like those two. There are a lot of simple people out there. They have their place and they generally stay there.

  25. See Northwestern Tree Octopus thread for elucidation.
Many people in our society seem to be not just ignorant but MILITANTLY so. They eschew all “book larnin'” and appear, at least on the surface, to get by just fine their whole lives.
You can lead the horse to water…
Another possibility worth considering is that all this focus on education and so forth is just another scam like Global Warming. Did I just hear a head or two explode out there? ~:D

  26. If these two ladies lived in Canada, which political party(s) do you think they’d likely be voting for?
Considering the pressing issues being considered by the Ontario conservatives, I’m going to say that these two would be voting conservative.

My family used less electricity in 2010 than we did in 2009, but the cost went up by $500 last year.
And Tim “Pimp-That-Underclass” Hudak is worried about dollar-a-bottle beer.
    Frig!

  27. Kate said it best, they won’t be voting
Yeah but then you here the words “Jack Layton MP” and you snap out of it.
