Just FYI, the new groupthink “outrage” for the left is that Sarah Palin used the expression “blood libel” in the video she just released. She’s an anti-semite! She thinks Jews control the media! She’s comparing herself to Anne Frank!
Of course “blood libel” does not refer exclusively to the medieval “Jews are baking matzos with the blood of crucified children” slander; that’s a blood libel, not the blood libel. These people, for example the lice on Kos, are dishonest and they are unhinged with hate.

I am probably going to get slammed for this. A cop was run over by a stolen snow plow in Toronto this morning and killed. The man who did it was then shot by police. This aspect of the story is not getting a lot of air, but I understand there were at least six cops at the scene and at least twenty shots fires. I understand that the man was unarmed.
When a citizen arrests someone and turns them over to the police, so they can be charged, tried and sentenced by the legal system, the police are all over them with accusations of “vigilante justice”. If the person is tried by a court it is not vigilante justice.
What is vigilante justice is six cops, who are enraged about one of their own getting killed, taking justice into their own hands and and acting as judge jury and executioner.
I was not there but I suspect that half a dozen trained cops with clubs and tazers can take down an unarmed man without resorting to shooting him. If they can’t they need more training.
I’m watching American Masters, Jeff Bridges: The Dude Abides because I just can’t bear to watch Obambam making the most of this tragedy, not letting it go to waste, in Tuscon.
I want to hear about it from Krauthammer, Drudge, VDH, Kate, et al., I just don’t want to see it first hand, because the whole aftermath side show is just so obscene.
