“Think Forward” With The BC NDP

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
Think Forward BC NDP, September 2009;

“Today, the BC NDP has an opportunity to be more assertive in building a more effective, functional and relevant party for our members and our communities. We must ensure that representation at all levels of the party, including MLAs and candidates, reflects the full diversity of the province we live in.”

Globe And Mail, December 2010;

  1. Seeing as there won’t be a Libertarian candidate running in my riding, I’ll probably end up voting for the BC Conservative party again. Right now I can’t tell the difference between the Lieberals, the NDP or the watermelon party.
    I didn’t realized how many moonbats there were in Vancouver until I moved to the interior. So much better being out here where most people are working and a significant fraction are self-employed, the traffic actually moves and alternative medicine means going to the walkin clinic on the other side of town. After being in a moonbat free zone for a couple of years, I didn’t realize how wonderful a feeling that could be.
    BC is really two provinces; Vancouver and Vancouver island can form their own province of ecotopia or some such watermelon paradise and base their economy on selling each other handicrafts and “green jobs”. The interior of the province could then either join Alberta or go it’s own way freed from the moonbat idiocy that emanates from Victoria.

  2. BC politics, what a joke! We have the socialists on the one side and their quasi cousins slightly to the right. I will give Campbell some credit on the business affairs of the province during his tenure. My problem has been that the Liberal coalition has drifted to the left steadily since being elected. They have never tackled the bloated and unaccountable health care or education systems in the province.
    If Christy Clark wins the leadership and calls an election I will either not vote or vote Conservative. Campbell’s 4 year terms are now law and have to be observed. If she wants a seat she can wait or ask a sitting MLA to step down.
    As a British Columbian I have made all my political contributions to the Wild Rose Party in AB for the past 4 years. IMO they have their heads screwed on reasonably ‘right’! As a past political organizer I would think that the provincial conservatives would have elected MLAs under the Liberal banner and tried to change the party direction from within. Failing that then leave the caucus. From what I can see the provincial Libs have almost no constituency org at least not out in the interior. Any political movement worth its salt should be able to take a foothold from within and become a force.

  3. The winner will just have to agree to a ‘gender reassignment’ procedure.
    Taking one for the team.
    Problem solved.
