9. It’s cute. But did the researchers honestly believe those “camouflaged spycams” would fool any bear? They were just trying to make direct interaction with the bears look accidental. A large beach ball would have been more economical and entertaining for both parties.

11. I want the BBC to next try out environmentalist greenie snowman suit cam. Fill the suit with Suzuki or Gore and have it walk up to the polar bear.
    Then the bear can shake it like a polaroid picture.

14. I agree that polar bears in Antarctica are endangered. My wife’s cousin was on Antarctica a few years back and she didn’t see a single bear. She sent lots of pictures of penguins but none of polar bears. I know the cousin knows what a polar bear looks like because she has a polar bear pelt hanging on the wall. It was a hunting trophy courtesy of her trusty open sighted rifle. She won’t hunt with a scope.
