    Can’t imagine Katie Couric et al, raging on about increased number of dead soldiers under Obama.

  6. Limbaugh was noticing today that Julian Assange was a quirky whistle blower a little while ago while releasing Bush era military secrets, but these days he’s a dangerous terrorist. Because he’s making Barry and Hillary look bad.
    Anybody think Barry’s going to use this to clamp down hard on the interwebs so he can control the body count the way he obviously does in the MSM? No brainer, that one.

  9. That’d be nearly amusing – almost – if it weren’t the truth.
    There were daily body counts from Iraq under Bush 43, and the photographic “Wall of Fallen”, and olbermoron and matthews in slobbering frenzies, plus who knows how many leftoid hack editorials and op-eds.
    I’m sure they’ll start anytime soon, though.
    The MSM has lost whatever sliver of “credibility” they had, and they still carry Maobama’s water.

    You know i have been wondering about htis for awhile do you think that before jayson kenny was in charge do you think the liberals or just the govornemnt in general imported people who would cause problems just to justify you know certain budget’s ,and to cause certain drama in thins country?
    I am starting to think so becasue everywherei go i see or here about this kind of stuff and that is not to say we don’t have our own problems but we can deal with them i don’t know if this makes sence but i t just seems to me that we are so used to being peaceful and we love peace and we have embraced it and we are pretty good at govorning our selves that they need to import some BIG problems .

  12. When G.W. Bush was the President, the whole “civilians killed by US bombs” theme was frequently the – almost pruriently delivered – go-to news of the day on The National. I guess things are pretty peaceful in Afghanistan, now that Obama’s in power.

  14. paul in calgary….you speak closer to the truth then most people know…keep importing the Somali’s,muzzie’s etc,and you can keep the police state rolling.Problem is,they(the cops)then start picking mainly on Canadians,and immigrants who are here because they believe in this country and want to be here.As my late grandfather,who landed on Juno Beach said,the greatest threat to a country are the parasites called government,and the leeches who live off them.If anybody can come up with something more truthful,please let me know.

  17. I was surprised enough by the “lost more guys this year with Obama that 2001-2008 combined” line that I did some checking. http://www.icasualties.org has the numbers (though admittedly, I don’t know where they got them, or how up to date they are for this year’s numbers).
    US deaths 2001-2008 (Afghanistan) 630
    US deaths 2009 (Afghanistan) 317
    US deaths 2010 (Afghanistan) 471
    Certainly more deaths during Obama’s term than Bush’s but not this year. Wounded however is another story:
    US wounded 2001-2008 (Afghanistan) 2631
    US wounded 2009 (Afghanistan) 2144
    US wounded 2010 (Afghanistan) 4481
    The Iraq war is another story but then, it’s been (comparatively) stable for a few years:
    US deaths 2003-2008 (Iraq) 4221
    US deaths 2009 (Iraq) 149
    US deaths 2010 (Iraq) 59
    US wounded 2003-2008 (Iraq) 29672
    US wounded 2009 (Iraq) 677
