This, of course, is not enough to disqualify her opinions on the issue. Which tells you everything you ever needed to know about Barbara Walters.
She encapsulates the liberal view perfectly; she “believes” muslim children are being harrased/assaulted, no examples, no evidence. Makes it tough to debate when even facts can’t overcome someone’s perception.

The tweedle dee and tweedle dum part was Whoopi saying that it was the Japanese Army that attacked and Bill correcting her with ‘air force’ and she consenting, when actually it was the Imperial Japanese Navy that attacked on Dec. 7th.
Whoopi forgot to tell the Japs that it was just the “Japanese army” that was at war:

O’Reily is senile and Goldberg is a raving schizo, why do they get air time? Because cable TV is a freak show, cable news is an extension of that. It appeals to our voyeuristic reflex to gawk at geeks, freaks and the bizarre. The more outrageous, the longer it holds our attention.
It’s the job of these bizare attention whores and squabbling freaks to sell us on “the progressive dream”. I call it a dream because you have to be totally asleap to believe it.
Whatever else she may be, at least she’s willing to have a conversation rather than settle on only insults (which she’s thrown her share of). She risks alienating her side by going on Fox. Who knows…give her a few years and maybe she’ll be co-hosting with Juan.
When it comes to the View – I’m not so concerned by the opinions of the pin heads who co-host as I am about all the women in the audience who actually agree with most of what they say.
