   We can’t focus all the hate towards the Algerian “youths” burning cars and gang raping women in Paris and greater Europe, they do what they do. We can hate the Liberal elitists that force them among us, and have us defenseless to save our property and families, without the use of any weaponry or the law on our side.

Would have been the smart thing to do, instead of beating a retreat and hoping you don’t get beaned with a rock. It’s stupid to second-guess them without more context, though.

    No – they had manpower a couple of years ago but the government and the unions preferred to listen to the people calling for understanding of the protesters. (something like the administration in Carleton, who instead of calling for arrest of protesters opted for giving them “free avenue of protest”)
    What is happening now is the result of that policy.
    Oh, and the police should have guns.

28. And that is why I have so much respect and admiration for American police forces. They aren’t perfect (no police force is) but at least they don’t put up with crap like that.

    nobody here has tried to blame it Da Neeegroes yet, but apparently every commenter on the youtube version of this video has decided to lay it at their feet. Given the wide range of opinions, you can see why I’m a bit confused about who this video is supposed to make me hate. Which, according to one “special” individual, apparently means that I hate everyone. I’m just curious whether anyone can tie all these rants into a cohesive narrative, or whether this is just a Rorschach test, with everyone bashing their own bogyman-du-jour.

    While the French army didn’t fare well during the Franco-Prussian War, they put up a commendable effort by facing steel breachloading connon with bronze muzzle loaders supplied by rail
    The Kaiser’s Wehrmacht had a similar advantage at the beginning of WW1 but were stopped cold at the Marne. Nobody can question the valour of the defenders of Verdun.

38. The officers were in plain clothes. There was a time that officers mostly wore uniforms. The uniformed officer was easy to identify and the uniform was a symbol of authority demanding respect. Not that long ago, an officer confronted by a threat would use force to eliminate the threat and there would be no controversy about it. The good old days.

    What I find interesting is the politically correct use of the word ‘hate’. It seems that if you can link someones POV with ‘hate’ you can declare victory in a discussion that’s in a politically correct context.

48. We are watching a civilization fall apart. This is the future of Canada, and the CPC has done absolutely nothing to change disasterous the social/demographic trajectory that was initiated by the Liberals.
    In a generation there will be two separating societies. The large urban/suburban , increasingly dominated by violence and ethnic strife, closely connected with government, employed by government or supported directly by government, and the rural/small city, where people will try to carry on their lives as they have in the past, free as much as possible from the insanity of political correctness and socialism that has driven a stake into the heart of this civilization.
    The cities, once seen (not by everyone, I admit) as beacons for employment, education, and personal advancement, will become places to avoid unless you can’t because of your job or medical, or educational needs.
    I live in Toronto, but I’m thinking it’s time to buy a house in Huntsville. Nicest small town I know within 2 hours drive of here. I’m just not sure if it’s far enough from Toronto.
