The only thing worse than a being sore loser is a being bad winner who rubs his victory his opponent’s face. Common grace demands that winners always accept their victory graciously and modestly; one must never, ever, under any circumstances, verbally taunt the losing party.
It is, however, perfectly acceptable to celebrate with an unbridled victory dance. So go to town:

    “There is no doubt that people’s number-one concern is the economy, and what they were expressing great frustration about [in yesterday’s midterms] is the fact that we haven’t made enough progress on the economy.”
    Democratic pollster Pat Caddell’s response:
    “(Obama) doesn’t get it, and the exist polls show it, and the results do. This was not just — the economy, as important as it was, was not the decisive factor this election; health care was….Among Democrats who favored repeal, 36 percent voted for Republican[s]. Among independents who favored repeal, 86 to 9 voted Republican. You could see Democrats going down who voted for health care — the health-care bill — being wiped out….[L]ook, in my lifetime, this is the first time my party will have less than 200 seats in the House. Health care is a major thing. You look at the economy, look, 34 percent of people who said their financial situation worsened voted Democratic. I could show you lots of evidence. Just look at Nevada and California, two of the highest — Nevada the highest — unemployment states in the country, and two Democratic senators; Democrats did all right. It is…health care [that] killed them, and they don’t understand, the American people found this a crime against democracy — I’ve been saying this since March — they want it repealed, and this issue is gonna go on and on, and he [Obama] seems absolutely tone-deaf.”

    UNESCO calls on Israel to remove Rachel’s Tomb and Cave of the Patriarchs from its list of heritage sites, saying the former is built on the site of a mosque (!) while it and the latter are characterized as “an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories”
    Faced with yet another attempt to have their historical links to the land delegitimized as well as Islamic supremacist make believe, Israel has told UNESCO to get stuffed.

  11. Great video! Dancing was once a much more predominant pastime than it is today. Years ago I was in a bar in a small town in Saskatchewan. It was New Years eve, we were hauling fence posts from PA, Sk.
    This little fellow about 5’4″ jumped up on a table and started dancing a jig. Unreal how he went on for a half hour! Wish I was young again!

  12. If the US dollar goes down by 20% in relation to ours …ours will follow. If it did not follow we will have to cut our prices by 20% just to stay competitive.
    OR lose 100% of our US export business to the Asians.

  13. If the US dollar loses 20% of its value against our dollar then our products would be more expensive and we would sell less to the US. And we would get less for our oil. Priced in US dollars. Not good.

  16. Here’s another example of Obama apparently not grasping in the slightest what yesterday’s result means: He was asked the following question at his press conference –
    “As you’re well aware, obviously a lot of Republicans ran against your health-care law. Some have called for repealing the law. I’m wondering, sir, if you believe that the helath care reform that you worked so hard on is in danger at this point and whether there’s a threat as a result of this election?”
    Here’s his response:
    “I think we’d be misreading the election if we thought that the American people want to see us for the next two years re-litigate arguments that we had over the last two years.”
    Huh?

    The way they gerrymandered the deal and jammed it through as a 1017 page bill shows how the Hyde Amendment doesn’t apply to ObamaCare.
    The Stupak block to abortion was rescinded on Obamacare.
    In short, in a majority pro-life country Obamacare is a strategic trojan horse.
    Now that the Dems have lost Congress the Obama-Nation(tm) trojan horse loses its teeth as Congress controls spending.
    Given the Tea Party mood, Obamacare will get starved out. So sorry Soros…and Planned Barrenhood.

  23. Friend of USA – I complained to Global about them televising into my frontroom, images of these desecrated dead, and he said that they all volunteered themselves for this after-life. I asked him if he could prove that, he couldn’t. It is sponsored by Telus at their Science World here in Vancouver, and I thnk I will switch providers of both phone and internet. I sould not have to look at these cadavers which they show at suppertime.

    Fresh from a sabbatical studying climate change reporting at the University of Oxford, the ABC’s Margot O’Neill considers whether or not the media has done a good job.
    WHATEVER HAPPENED to climate change? This time last year climate change was a hot topic regularly appearing in news bulletins and on front pages. Phrases such as “the future of humanity could be at stake” were quoted, celebrities marshalled and 4,000 journalists prepared to descend on the UN climate change summit in Copenhagen. Apparently humanity’s future is now secure… or so it might seem given the paucity of journalism devoted to the issue in the mainstream media.
    Where did all the climate change stories go? “The [programmers] are against it because it loses ratings,” says a senior BBC journalist. “The wave [of public interest] has gone. There is climate change fatigue. That is why I am not [reporting] it now.”
    Other journalists agree. Even reporters at The Guardian, which especially targets environmental reporting, complain that it’s difficult to get a run. Another UK broadcast journalist said he was warned that putting climate change on prime time would risk losing a million viewers.”

    *i met sparky many yrs ago at a game in Tiger Stadium, only briefly chatted as he came out of the dugout in between innings.
    He leaned against the stands fence & i had a chat with him. Mindya though i had, had a few beers & was sitting in a area i was not to be. So i ended up getting escorted(Escort Police) to the nearest gate, Said good bye to sparky he wished me well as he chuckled. Funny they(escort police) took me right to where our groups bus was & told me to get on it & stay there. I did never went back besides the air was on & it was like 120 in the stadium & there was beer in the coolers.
