and I’ll complain if I want to … how did all these progressives get in the door?
David Harris notes the mixed messages being sent out by [Prime Minister] Harper’s actions.
On the one hand, as Ezra Levant noted, they have declared that they are distancing themselves from groups like the Canadian Islamic Congress (CIC).
Yet at the same time, Harris points out, “the Executive Director of the CIC was a featured speaker at a Department of Foreign Affairs put together by the Muslim Communities Working Group. The Working Group is a clearing house for all things Muslim, has no equivalent relating to any other religion or ideology, and came into existence early in the Harper government’s existence.”
Harris points to the main webpage of Canada’s Security and Intelligence Review Committee (SIRC) as example of the establishment’s privileging of Muslims.
“Canadian government websites are available in Canada’s two official languages,” Harris explains, “but the site for the independent watchdog organization offers a third: Arabic.
“This is extraordinary in itself. It is the more remarkable given the propensity of some Canadian communities struggling with terrorism and espionage in their midst — say, ethnic Tamils, Sikhs, Indians, Iranians, Chinese — to speak non-Official Languages other than Arabic.”

The dhimmis in govt use the irritants to identify the opposition. And you are falling for that.
Personally, I think they should put up a german translation of the website; which should give Lord Haw Haw quite the laugh…
Who exactly is running the Ministry for Propaganda?

I dunno, seems like it would be a whole lot easier to keep tabs on them this way. I don’t see that as a negative. Most of the ones we have caught is by means of communication.
Why Arabic? How many Pakistani immigrants speak and write it? Or Indonesians? Or Somalis?

Note the explanation of the borrowed written characters.
In fact, the mandarins are addressing their information to the self appointed religious/cult leaders, not the citizen immigrants.
I must say I was quite steamed until I looked at the site and found that the translation was more a memo as to the procedure to complain and obligations that must be followed.
Here is a google translation;

Slightly on topic:
What’s with all MP’s dissing Macleans in the HOC??
They are called: “vendues” in one of Canada’s official languages ie; “sellouts” in square-headese.
The last time I checked, English and French were the official languages of the country, with English being more widely spoken. I must have missed something.
The Conservative have sold themselves out. Not only that the soul of reform has been crushed in their ranks.
Mulroneyites to the core. The party has become more Progressive than Conservative.
JMO
Here, here Rev!
Good gawd what’s next the Con MPs wearing knee pads so they can stay on the ground at groveling level.
Rev and Rose say it well. Joe Who would be proud.
When stuff like this is made a budget item they fight and claw to get on the gravy train no matter what their department does. The observation about it being in arabic is interesting. Presumably that would be for the benefit of any muslim community religious leader who would have some grasp of that language if they lacked english or french and wanted to deal with a problem involving one of their adherents and some government dept.
aaaaaahhhh. tsk tsk tsk.
the right is being abandoned by the opportunist.
get used to it.
they ALL do it.
