When we got to the correct shelf, there was, indeed, a single hard-cover copy of the Koran. We both immediately noticed some slight damage to the spine of the dust cover, which he began to apologize for. He pulled it off the shelf, and stopped in horror as he saw that someone had, quite obviously and deliberately, cut a large X across the front of the book, through the dust cover and well into the hard cover itself.
(With palpable shock in his voice): ”Someone…someone committed a hate crime…in my store…I don’t believe this…”
I gently took the book from his hands, put my most reassuring face on, and calmly said, “That’s OK. I don’t mind…..”

I’d say you’ve completely missed the point if you think this was all about supporting Koran burners. The people burning the Koran on Saturday, with the possible exception of Joe Sixpack at the Ground Zero Mosque demonstration, are all doing it as a publicity stunt. As in, for money. I’d have to be an idiot to fall for that.
(The Ground Zero guy just walked up, torched a Koran, made a little “f- you guys!” speech and walked away. That’s a proper statement of intent, you ask me. Very New York.)
The “muslim outrage” across the ocean is likewise all publicity stunts for money. People die so imam Raouf can have a new Mercedes. Nice, eh?
What I and most people here are commenting on is the abject cowardice of our Ruling Class masters on the world stage, bending over for Muslim publicity seekers abroad to hush up Christian publicity seekers at home. The fricking President of the United States sicced the FBI on that wanker preacher in Florida. Very two tier.
IMHO its worth a couple of burnt paperbacks to call their bluff. To deliver the message both to the Muslims and the Ruling Class. Message being, “We are not putting up with your sh1t anymore.” If that’s all it takes we will be extremely fortunate.

After discovering that 84% of textual Islam is in the Sunna (Hadith and Sira) I now, and foroever more — or before my be-heading whichever comes first — will refer to them as Mohammedans.
I would respectfully ask all infidels with Mohammedan friends to ask them what it is in Mohammed’s life that they feel is most worthy of emulation.
