Prince Charles yesterday urged the world to follow Islamic ‘spiritual principles’ in order to protect the environment.
In an hour-long speech, the heir to the throne argued that man’s destruction of the world was contrary to the scriptures of all religions – but particularly those of Islam.
He said the current ‘division’ between man and nature had been caused not just by industrialisation, but also by our attitude to the environment – which goes against the grain of ‘sacred traditions’.

Before this dhimmi village idiot inherits the throne from his mother, we Canucks definitely need to pass and implement the Constitutional change that severs our relationship to this monarchy.
I had long been a lover of our ancient British laws and traditions, including the monarchy and its role in Canada, but this idiot has spent too many years undermining it. It’s time for a republic; we need to do this soon before the old queen passes.
Defender of the faith?
Set You Free,
Charles is either changing the phrase to Defender of the Faiths or he actually plans on converting…get to have multiple wives dnt you know, and who wouldnt be for putting Camilla in a Burka
‘Islam has always taught this and to ignore that lesson is to default on our contract with creation.’
~Charles “the Unfaithful” Windsor, Prince of Wales
Jughead is saying that his “contract with creation” was given to him by Allah.
My contract with creation was given to my ancestors before the cult of Islam was created.
I will never have any sort of contract with the death cult of Islam.
I refuse to ever recognize this pretender, this panderer of Tarot cards and Ouija boards, as my sovereign.
The sooner we can rid ourselves of this anachronism from a foreign land the better off we will be. Bat Ears latest brain cramp just confirms it.
No wonder mom isn’t leaving the throne any time soon.
British dhimmitude reaches into all levels of government and the Royals.
My Christian forefathers are turning in their graves.
I am not a defender of the royal familiy, however, Prince Charles’ speech yesterday was right on the money. Well done indeed.
Charles has become a Cross(to bear)between Edward VIII and a tampon:pity.
If Charles’ title of “Prince” comes not from the Christian God he is no Prince of England at all.
Oh, and Windsor and Buckingham Palaces take a LOT of carbon to heat.
Palaces are high ceilinged drafty places and Chucky flies all over the globe pretty regular.
Just sayin’.
(looks to me like Chuck has a terminal case of “do as I say, not as I do” syndrome)
I am a loyal supporter of the monarchy, but this really gives me pause. I don’t think the alternatives are better, but this guy needs to have his brain reexamined – or he needs to get out into the real world and soon.
This is what you get after hundreds of years of inbreeding.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree:

Would you expect anything more profound from a tampon wannabe? Swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool will do that to you.
I am a great admirer of Britain, her history, and great influence on the development of the globe. However, that time is now long past. We can continue to hold dear our historical ties, but the time has come to formally sever them.
I must concur with felis, as I have felt for many years now it is time for Canada to at least begin the discussion about becoming a republic.
To think that Diana might have been the smart, level-headed one.
When 2 people get drunk and have sex, they end up with an offspring like Charlie. It is long past time that Canadians abandoned the Royal Inbreeders.
Hopefully the queen will be around another 15 years, giving Charles another chance to grow up first.
For those in the know, can the Queen passover Charles to give the crown to the next generation, because Charles has proven himself unworthy.
I’d have walked out upon hearing that.
Quite a guy. He’s surrendered already. Mumsy should be ashamed of him.
Prince Charles has a lot invested in the climate change business, as does the Church of England and all of the political parties. So naturally Charles is attempting to unite all of the UK’s major faiths- Christianity, Gaia, Islam and Big Government- under one royal banner. You can tell that he dreams of being a ‘benevolent’ totalitarian. Charles is probably too delicate to be an “off with his head!!” type but definitely a “Double the taxes! Triple the taxes! Squeeze every last drop…out of those insolent, musical peasants!” (quotes courtesy of Disney Movies)
Man, I thought Britian’s immigration policy was gona be the death of them, it seems Charlie is gona beat them to it.
Wrong on BOTH points, you jug-eared inbred: the world isn’t being “destroyed”, and more Islam is exactly what the world doesn’t need right now.
Please someone change Liz’s batteries before she shuts down!!!
Jezzz Charles, it’s NO wonder your wife left you.
Grow a brain would you.

Ha! Ha! Ha! That capitol T must stand for TARD does it?
What’s the big deal? He was speaking to a group of Islamic scholars, reiterating basic notions of Islamic environmental practice, and challenging those scholars to conduct more research on the links between Islam and the environment.
He wasn’t saying that Islam was any wiser than other religion when it comes to preserving the environment (or anything else), he wasn’t urging everyone in Britain to convert to Islam, he wasn’t touting Sharia law, he never even — as the Daily Mail journalist wrongly asserts — “urged the world to follow Islamic ‘spiritual principles’ in order to protect the environment.”
Instead of posting knee-jerk comments based on the spun version of events that you get on SDA, try taking a minute to read the original speech first: princeofwales.gov.uk/speechesandarticles/a_speech_by_hrh_the_prince_of_wales_titled_islam_and_the_env_252516346.html
He was actually making a fairly non-controversial point — that Islam, like all the major world religions, offers philosophical insights and guidance on people’s relationship with nature — that’s (mis)interpreted here as controversial only because it involves the word “Islam.”
@BL@KBIRD: T in this case standss for Troll. He is our resident antisocial-personality-disorder bit of damaged goods. He doesn’t actually believe in *anything*, but he’s fairly sure he doesn’t like what WE believe, so he has started gainsaying every thread here (must have been stung by my saying last night that he’s a one-issue guy).
He has gone in about a week from rote regurgitation of whatever propaganda he reads at libtard websites to autopilot pap like today’s post, so he’s gotten lazy already – not too surprising from a mommy’s-basement welfare case.
No, Davenport, he was pimping his own financial interests by flattering the Islamic scholars. If he was challenging the scholars he would talk about free expression, equality for women, religious tolerance…
Dear Mr. Davenport: Okay, I’ve read the speech. Nothing about it has changed my mind.
Islam is crap. Islam has nothing to do with a “benevolent power”, and to see one of the wealthiest men in the world praise it and decry mechanization and how its benefits ought to be denied to the world’s poor is beyond nauseating.
“Nature’s benevolence and bounty”, indeed; his knowledge of nature is on par with his understanding of Islam.
Next!
mmmmm…..Princes Diana’s death an honor killing?
I’m old enough to remember Chuck’s christening. There was a lot of consternation at the time over the choice of the name Charles, since the previous ones had a habit of misplacing their heads (see Cromwell, Oliver; roundheads). I am a supporter of the Royal family, but not this twirp; HM the Queen should ensure that he is bypassed as he would be an old-age pensioner himself by the time she departs these mortal coils and he wouldn’t have long enough for the on-the-job training necessary. Not to mention it’s too late for Charles to develop common sense.
“For those in the know, can the Queen passover Charles to give the crown to the next generation, because Charles has proven himself unworthy.
~jckirlan
Theoretically Parliament could reject him as sovereign but on what specific basis they could or would do it, considering the makeup of this Parliament, I can’t imagine.
Chucky’s interests seem to coincide nicely with the interests of the British Parliament on the whole and he will rubberstamp whatever they ask for just as his mother has.
The only reason I have a problem with him is that he is vulgarly public where the Queen is suitably royally private about personal matters and political/religious leanings.
He ought not to be so, because it undermines democracy and stands as a harbinger of what we can expect from him in future whether he becomes King or not.
The guy was born with a silver spoon protruding from his orifice and has never held a job in his life.
He is more keenly divorced from the economic or social realities of ordinary voters than even politicians or university professors.
Mikey A, better watch it, you may blow a gasket or worse.
Oh and Mikey A, how long has it been since you stopped beating your wife?
The climate alarmists are in a bad way these days and are grasping at straws. Now it’s Islam! Yup, for the environment !!
For those who have already devoted half their lifetime and all their career and all their money, like maybe you should just cut your loses and move on.
The ring leaders – Gore Suzuki Strong Chretien Hansen Blair Pelosi The UN – convinced untold millions to put all their eggs in the climate doomsday basket.
Perhaps there is fear of being “strung up” by the masses. Could this explain the weirdness??
His speech makes me wonder, about the rumors a couple years ago. Saying that he secretly converted to Islam.
Long live the Queen!
Prince Charles. Ugh. Walking proof that brain death does not always precede physical death.
Since I was not present to hear what he said I take Davenport’s comments seriously, especially knowing how the MSM seldom report the truth. MSM have a documented history of taking things out of context, distorting what was actually said and even lying about what was said.
That’s it. Layton for Presidente!
Yep, Islam can teach us a lot of things about preserving the environment, like setting on fire a whole country full of oil wells; how to grow poppy fields; recycling buildings into piles of rubble along with turning all the humans in those buildings into thousands of little pieces.
Btw T, how long has it been since you stopped beating your meat, choking the chicken, whacking the weasel?
Of course going back to living like in the 13th century we would not use carbon based energy.
Bring back Barbarism!
Maybe that lop-eared twit needs to check out some of the Middle Eastern deserts and see what his Muslim buddies are doing to their own environment. The Muslims there have got to be the dirtiest, most uncaring people around. Everywhere you go there are empty plastic bottles and plastic bags that the local goats eat to keep from starving. Garbage everywhere, broken down and abandoned vehicles on every street, oil spills abandoned in the desert, and on and on.
Those Muslims don’t care about their environment – Charlie is just another doof taking the easy, trendy way. He’s absolutely clueless, and I can see why Diana was diddling the Palace Guards cuz Charlie obviously ain’t all there!
I have read his speech and it is even worse then I thought. He is is pandering to Islamists with his remarks on human nature of Christ, on “Islamic wisdom obscured by the dominant drive towards Western materialism”, on soulless West, on noble Qu’ranic tradition* and dispersing advice that “sometimes you do have to turn the clock back if it is telling the wrong time”
It is exactly what Islamic fundamentalists propose and he is saying exactly what many muslims think about the West.
God Save the Queen.
Skipping over a generation ain’t gonna help.

His uncle thought that Hitler was a fine fellow also ad should be supported so Charles is keeping up “the family tradition”.
Got a feeling the royal succession is going to skip a generation.
And this is why I don’t like the monarchy.
