  1. I wonder how many Canadians who rely on the MSM
know who Sestak is. Nor would know whether offering
him a position so that he wouldn’t run against
a favoured son would be illegal here.

  2. Just heard on Yahoo news that Tipper is leaving Al, not because of any affairs on either side; perhaps it had something to do with Al going green, though they don’t say which part of him that might be.

  3. TIME wants to get some of that MSM bailout money Barry’s going to be flinging around real soon. Never bite the hand that holds the gravy ladle.

  4. Time is clueless about anything that matters.
Time is only switched on when it comes to kissing Obamassiah’s butt cheeks.

  5. FYI to those who do not know who Joe Sestak is or why he “should” be making the news:
    Quote-
“For the third time in as many weeks, the White House is still not confirming or denying the claim made by Rep. Joseph Sestak (D-PA) that he was offered a “high-ranking” Administration position if he would abandon his challenge to Sen. Arlen Specter in Pennsylvania’s May primary.”

  6. Not that I’m particularly interested in defending Time Magazine, but Stengel is correct — Time has covered the Sestak controversy on its online site.
So, Time Mag Managing Editor has momentary brain-lapse during a 7:45am live interview — scandalous!

  7. Time’s editor, the dick in the grey suit, is such a liar. Smooth, cool, with a pasted-on-whoops-I’ve-been-caught-in-the-headlights smile. He TOTALLY knows who Sestak is and he’s a lousy dissembler.
AND, if he doesn’t know who Sestak is, he’s an incompetent boob.
    FIRE. HIM.

  8. Doesn’t surprise me as the MSM doesn’t have much of a clue about anything except parroting the lefty party lines. batb says it well.
larben, that was funny and probably closer to the truth than you suspected.

  9. Bribery…I’m not half the man I used to be.
    Ohh bribery, a felonious offence
Malfeasance in office, bars one from public office.
The WH will neither confirm nor deny the allegation because either way they would be in very deep doo doo.

  10. Time magazine is much too busy trying to pin the blame for Obama’s lackluster oil spill response on Bush to worry about such incidental fripperies as bribery and corruption.

  11. This is exactly the same as ABC Charlie Gibson.
When the whole ACORN video expose was circulating the internet, Gibson said to an interviewer he never heard of it.
    —————————
Gibson: I know we’ve done some stories about ACORN before, but this one I don’t know about…
Roma: Jake Tapper did some blogging on it. I know he’s blogged at least once on this scandal.
Gibson: You guys are uh really up on the website.

  12. B-b-but, they’re our intellectual betters! “Time” for another Obama cover, stat!

  13. Time, like 99% of msm, is agenda driven NOT news driven, the outfit omits anything or anyone not supportive of their agenda. The agenda is to misinform all citizens by bias, outright lies and by the most important instrument of bias/spin/lies known to communication: omission
Phantom, you are both directly and indirectly correct.

  14. In all honesty, Sestak really is old news in that he told reporters months ago that he was offered a job to stay out of the election. He made the statement on a morning talk show and to his credit wouldn’t say anymore until the Whitehouse responded. It’s the Oh show that is tap dancing around the issue, hoping and changing away that it will disappear like the aftermath of a bad bean burritto.
Not to draw any conclusions to this but when I found out that Slick Willie was involved I knew someone peed in the pool.

  15. I am trying to figure out what Blago was accused of doing that is that different than what Obama did. Obama was involved in the Blago thing too. Obama also offered a job to a guy in Colorado to get out of the race, and who knows what the heck he said to Scozafava in NY to get the purported Republican to drop out and endorse the Democrat.

  16. Does this surprise anyone? Where under the suzerainty of half wits who pretend to give us the news.
