Is There Nothing That Obama Can’t Do?

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
Globe&Mail, May 14th“Mr. Obama delivered his stinging rebuke of industry and regulators in remarks at the White House Rose Garden, flanked by cabinet secretaries involved in the massive response and cleanup effort. They were his sharpest remarks yet since the April 20 explosion of the Deepwater Horizon rig that killed 11 people and triggered the spill gushing from a crumpled pipe at a BP well about 40 miles south of Louisiana.”
Rasmussen Reports, May 18th“The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows 64% believe offshore oil drilling should be allowed, up from 58% earlier this month.”

  1. Most people know that life before abundant energy was harsh, cruel and usually lived under feudal lords.
The Democratic party and the Obama regime is rife with potential feudal lords and the good people of America will have none of it.

  2. Harsh life, lived under feudal lords? Isn’t that
the Liberal platform? The New NEP and
Count Michael as our liege lord?

  3. That poll bodes well for the mood of Americans and for TOTUS. It says to me that Americans may have recovered from their bout of BDS and woken from their Hopey Changy slumber. Could it be that the events of recent years have begun to stir America’s competitive juices? I hope this is so. For sometime now it’s seemed like the syrup had been sucked dry from the cherry-blueberry-7up Slurpy.

  4. Well Homez, you cannot count out the fact that ACORN submitted 10 Million Absentee Ballots in the last Presidential Election.
Barry and the Democrats cheated their way in, we just want them to leave before they do too much damage, and if they don’t then we reserve the option to go from Plan B to Plan Z.

  5. Plan Z? What, the zombie apocalypse? That seems a bit harsh, don’t you think?

  6. I don’t think I have ever heard an American President bash so many people in his own country. Going back to Kennedy.
He’s blasted the oil business, the health business, the financial business and insurance, the auto business, the coal business, the military business (but, not the soldiers, oh no), insinuated that tea partiers are terrorists and last, but, not least, denigrated gun owners.
I’m sure I’ve forgotten some. Millions of everyday Americans make their living directly or indirectly from those industries. We should hope that Mr. Obama continues to bash millions more.
This guy’s colors get brighter and brighter every week.

  7. Barry is the first truly Red POTUS in US history. He continues to devastate the US economy in pursuit of spreading the wealth around a bit, just liek he told Joe the Plumber he would.

  8. Plan Z? What, the zombie apocalypse? That seems a bit harsh, don’t you think?

I think shoving ObamaCare down our throats thru legislative trickery was harsh, don’t you think ?

  9. Say what you will about Barry, but he will benefit from America’s rising tide even though he seems to try his dam hardest to strain all the goodies from the mix.

  10. Only polls approved by the “won” or his minions are relevant….
Interesting results in the Democrat primaries….which add credibility to Rasmussen.

  11. If I were an Alinskyite community organizer type Marxist leader, and I had a hate on for the evil oil giants, and I wanted justification to shut them down – I might just get some CIA spooks to rig an explosion on a open sea drilling rig then drag my feet on stopping the resultant oil spill.
Gives me total absolution when I hit the industry with massive crippling liability taxes for drilling off shore.

Lets hope Obama learns the same lesson Red Eddy in Alberta is today. People with no jobs because the go after the Oil companies.Power shortages latter on from thinking you can have power for free. Progressives like their computers too.

  13. Osumashi Kinyobe ; True but Glenn Beck pointed out a different reason for the anointed one to be bashing BP – if the drilling in the Gulf stops the price of oil will skyrocket. Bp has other rigs in other countries…they cash in; kick back billions to the Obbamaites , Hussein Obamaites cash in: the American people fall to their knees in debt and doubt. The Obbamaite ‘plan’ involves economic failure in the USA, people who have money and power won’t give up all their independent rights for a hunk of bread or a gallon of gas.

  14. Off shore oil drilling two miles deep was great for the oil companies.
Too bad they had Moe, Larry, and Curly in charge of the disastrous rig,
no offense to the Three Stooges.
BP will continue to sell me the gas it will take for our vacation to the beaches of Lake Michigan.
And remember all that oil will kill billions of mosquitoes.

Like, trying to shift public opinion and/or use said “crisis” in justifying actions that might remain unpopular but judged to be benificial for the better good…Right Rahm? Right Barry?
