    The murderer, a Salvadoran gang member in MS-13, had been RELEASED after serving sentences for two gang-related felonies when he was 17. Under SF’s “sanctuary city” law, the city did not contact federal authorities to determine his immigration status. Had he been deported, the Bolognas might still be alive.
    This isn’t about illegal immigrants eating our ice cream.
    This isn’t about having or producing ID.
    It’s not about race.
    It’s about CRIMINALS which, to Obama, are equivalent to voters…for him.

  6. Obama’s comments were not off the cuff remarks that could have been made in an unthinking moment (common for him). These were carefully rehearsed and scripted comments aimed directly at the people of Arizona.
    Obama is a huge embarrassment to the Office of the Presidency.

I guess because he’s black, that somehow this equates as making him responsible to a different set of standards. Normally people running for major office in the US have to be squeaky clean, not even having any bad friends. The Empty Suit has changed all that.

    Nancy has a grape vineyard & her Husband has Commercial real-estate interests…,of course Immigration Status Identification is NOT required for a House Mortgage…Walk Away Fraud by the unknown.
    What is MORE important for Arizona is that ICE check the validity of all GREEN CARDS…If a person does not apply for Citizenship his/her INS record is not active…(Frozen in Time).. Convictions & Prison time may be suppressed (pay enough Money & its not reported to ICE) by scumbag Lawyers & Judges. The felon can stay in the USA indefinitely if his Green Card is not checked against his criminal record.. In 1986 ~ 2 million Mexicans got Green Cards (a path to Citizenship after 5 years) HOW MANY ARE STILL NOT CITIZENS & Why?
    The truth is that nothing in the USA requires proof of Status, by the INS…It’s just a free for all except at the lowest level; Payrol workers that need (Mostly false) documentation.
    Time to put the Gang Members out of the USA…

  13. Obama is a disgrace to the office of the US President.
    The LAW says that all immigrants to the US must carry their identification papers on them at all times. This is no laughing matter; it’s the law. Why is the President of the US denigrating and mocking the US law? Note that at his first State of the Union, he insulted the Supreme Court, whose representatives were sitting right in front of him.
    His first duty as President is security; he must secure the safety of US citizens. Instead, he is refusing to do this and mocking those citizens who are, on their own, trying to defend themselves.
    Why? He’s after the hispanic votes in Florida and California. Instead of viewing this situation for what it is in reality, he’s transformed the illegal acts (illegal immigration, drug and criminal actions)…into personal emotions – ‘it’s just racism’.

  14. Whom was Obama addressing when he made that “sophisticated” comment? Was he speaking to the media? What I found especially sickening was the rapt, adoring expression of one female member of the audience. If that woman is typical, there is no hope for my country.

Securing the border that is hundreds of miles long is impossible and even if it could be achieved would require a ridiculous amount of resources better spent…well, perhaps not spent at all given the level of debt the US is in. This ‘problem’ wouldn’t even be a problem if the US government hadn’t made it virtually impossible for low-wage workers to legally immigrate into the country.

    In an age, not so long ago, students were always advised to read the original text, not secondary sources to prove their statements in papers written for credits in courses. Isolate the Hussein Obama from the secondary yappers and what kind of ‘seed’ to you find? Not a Liberty loving, Patriot of the USA. You find a fella that grew up with radical Communists, he went to foreign Muslim schools, he studied Political ‘Science’ (elitist Bolshevik double speak ), he became a Communist-Community Organizer, he attended a church with a preacher bellowing hate against USA and caucaisian//occidental/polynesian race groups, in his own words “Things my Father told me” (I forget the title of his book but it was something his Dad told him) he outlines his own character and belief system for all to see – then he pals around with the likes of Bill Ayes, Cass Sunstine, Anita Gun…and he bow wows to foreign dictators and insults America’s friends -why are people surprised to learn that BHO is engineering the downfall of USA? Barry Suharto is a known ‘alias’ for BHO; has he other names?
    Most people do not study history using original sources, if they did they would see a pattern followed by all Dictators who took/take over empires. Ruthless is the first qualification, the ability to lie is the second. Here in Canada, people looked at people who told the truth about Trudeau like they had two heads – the so called ‘sane’ heads lost their rights and their nation through the well laid plans of our Bolshevik liar (Turdo). The Liberano/Dipper/Blochead coalition had the wheels fall off their wagon, ONLY because the people in E. Canada knew the west (their personal gravy train) would leave confederation if our government fell to a self proclaimed Communist in the form of a de facto Prime Minister Blochead (Ducippe).
    America had an accident because Republicans lost their way and elected a very poor Presidential Candidate. If they had elected Mr. Fred Thompson or Mr. D. Hunter things would have been different because those two would have exposed BHO.
    Why did the Republicans allow their party to loose to such a radical? Why did Joe Clark refuse to join the Alliance? Why did Brian Mulroney force Eric Nielson out of the PC Party?
    Things that force thinking people to ask questions – and to make sane judgement calls based on original sources. Your links, mikeg, are excellent links because most of them rely on original sources for the content.

    heh. Why should they be allowed in? Kindly explain that. Unskilled, uneducated…and unable to take any jobs but below-minimum wage jobs.
    But, cytotoxic, IF they were legal, then, they’d have to be paid legal minimum wages. And there are lots of American citizens who would and could do those jobs at that legal wage. So, why should the US let them in? Hmmm?
    And think about it. Mexico doesn’t want them; Mexico has no intention of providing an economic infrastructure for its low wage unskilled. And no intention of providing education, hospitals and health care for them. It’s far more useful to Mexico to keep its money for its wealthy and send the poor..off to the US taxpayer to support. It’s the US taxpayer who pays for the education, health care etc of these people.
    And since they don’t pay taxes – they send BILLIONS back to their relatives in Mexico..so Mexico doesn’t have to provide any assistance to its poor. Neat tactic, eh?
    Oh, did you know that Mexico’s border isn’t open? You can’t be an illegal in Mexico! You have to carry your papers on you all the time. And you don’t get to immigrate to Mexico very easily. They don’t want unskilled people there; their strategy is to ship any and all unskilled out of Mexico! Did you know that?

    They (the US government) seem to have no problem securing South Korea’s border to the North and it’s almost 10,000 miles away.
    No problem defending Germany for the last 60 years (They save big time on their defence budget).
    Saudi Arabia? Taiwan? What about a military presence in almost 160 countries around the world?
    You actually think it’s a reasonable claim the US can’t protect its southern border from illegal third world invasion??
