  1. Wow some of you people need to get a life … for 14 days we lived and breathed hockey (and various other gold medal wins). I’m pretty sure most Canadians don’t define themselves by either our ability in international hockey tournaments or in our quite pathetic broken Health care system.
Mike Babcocks message to his players was a great message, that more Canadians could borrow from and perhaps our greatness might be achieved in something more real and sustainable. Gee what a possiblility.

  2. Steve, the bottom line is Canada’s team won, when it meant the most. That’s what a real winner of a team does. As Tom Brokaw said on his piece about what Canada means to the USA, you always want us on your side in a fight.

  3. No, Al the frozen fish in Manitoba.
The bottom line of this post entitled “Leave No Doubt” is that doubt did exist right up until the last ten thousandth of a second.
Admit it Canadians. You will seem less ridiculously insecure if you own up to that.
    Canadian victory? Sure. Certainly. Bravo.
    Dominance? Please.
I am no fan of Tom Brokaw.
However I certainly do want Canada on my side in fight. What’s that got to do with hockey?
I remember who Master Corporal Rob Furlong is and what he did and I am grateful. Forever.
I’m not sure all of Canada respects that man enough.
Again though, this stuff has nothing to do with hockey. You brought it into the discussion. I don’t know why.
BTW you always want us on your side in a fight too.
