  6. I like it ! On a related note,if you are ever really hungry and are near a pond ,lake,slough,or whatever that has a lot of ducks,this may help you. Throw a bunch of boxes in the water. Then slip into the water with a box on your head,remember to cut eyeholes,that is essential. You should be able to sneak up on the ducks(be weally weally quiet) and pull them down and snap their necks. Dinner,yahoo.

  15. Hopefully a smaller one than the one if you jumped without it. I wear a flotation device at sea and I sure as heck do not want to go in the water, but if I do, I want every chance there is.
    If I worked that high up I’d have a chute, a steerable one and I’d learn how to use it. And I can imagine the chiding I’d take..”Whats the matter, afraid of dying?” and other silly comments.

  19. I don’t know there are various ways to look at the parachute thingie. It is cheap, maybe not to the clerical but I would assume there were some fairly hefty company policies. On the down side if you were above the flames it would be a more painful death. I’d take the option of jumping with one over jumping without if the company provided them and the training.

    Being retired from that irrational profession of jumping outa perfectly good airplanes….base jumping is bigtime hazardous . Weird air about tall buildings……A smack off the side of the building generally is followed by the splat at the bottom—-your chute fouls/collapses and Newton’s Law takes over………
    So sorry if I injected a bit of reality…..
